With the recent Core Web Vitals updates from Google, we have been focusing more on page speed. eSpark has been able to help our client's websites score 90 or above on Google's PageSpeed Insights performance auditing tool.

We were impressed with their approach and decided to go with them. They have followed Agile methodology to develop this system. We have used ASP.NET MVC, MSSQL.

The solution has multiple daily routing functionality like Manage subscriber profiles, manage subscriber subscription regarding package and Channels, and billing for Customer Subscription, Manage inventory of Hardwares and also manage multiple franchise/location and also Handel stock based on each franchise/location, also need CRM module to handle each day complains from customers.

We needed to build a solution to manage our day-to-day business requirements.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built up our CRM to accommodate multiple users and be usable with our different brand names. First, they worked with us to develop thorough documentation of the solution. This document compiled all the features, services, and flows involved in the product. Then, their team of backend developers, frontend developers, and testing elements started the long process of development. We’re now making final alterations, and eSparksBiz is providing ongoing maintenance.

They started from scratch, working in Laravel and PHP. eSparksBiz has provided some design services as well, mostly focusing on web-specific design. Hosting, both on AWS and on the client’s own servers.

What is the team composition?

We deal directly with their project manager. There was also a business analyst initially, during the documentation stage. Then, we started working with one frontend developer, two backend developers, a half-time designer, and a half-time testing person.

We started developing a solution in-house, but after building it we realized there were serious issues with security and broken functionality, so we looked for an experienced outside vendor. After identifying three options, we chose eSparksBiz because of their pricing and experience. Additionally, our CEO flew from the US to India to meet with them.

We focused on Indian companies as we felt they would have the technology skills necessary. eSparksBiz gave us a very competitive rate after we laid out the scope for them. Their desire to hear the details of the project and understand the scope fully was very attractive.

Our platform required a lot of complexity, as our products have so many variables: size, color, type of paper, etc. eSparksBiz defined all this complexity before the project and was flexible in applying changes while maintaining user-friendliness. They didn’t let anything we asked for disrupt the software. Now, we have a clear path forward to grow our business.

We’re sticking with eSparksBiz and giving them day-to-day maintenance work, along with small development tasks. There’s a long way to go with the platform still.

Their process makes it easy for everything. After analyzing our business and requirements, everything was laid out properly for the whole project.

We need to customize the E-commerce website based on a previously purchased theme. The previously purchased theme did not have all the functions we want, for example a more user friendly interface, a more appealing look / design, and a product search function that works good.

Throughout the whole project timeline, they communicate with us everyday to update us on the process, and we discuss about the project, and made adjustments accordingly. The service was very professional.

Our website was able to launch before the planned deadline, and everything works good including the look, design, and function. The website is optimized for different devices. Our mobile conversion rate increased a lot compared with our old website.

Project management was very effective. With quality communications everyday, we are well aware of all the process and issues. And whenever there are issues, it is being solved quickly and properly.
