The WeeDesign team broke the project down into milestones and checked with me after each phase was complete. They were receptive to changes and always make revisions quickly and skillfully. We have always kept in touch and I felt confidently with production team.

We worked with the entire client services team, and Vitaliy was the best. The feedback was clearly solicited and we knew when we had to respond by. They were very flexible in communication process.

We hired WeeDesign in order to plan and create a video explainer for one of our services.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

WeeDesign were one of the companies we choose to focus on Clutch. After couple of interviews, we decided to move forward with them. The main factor was very good communication with their CEO and very professional approach to our project.

After we signed the contract, we made a kick-off meeting to discuss the video flow and begun working. Each week we had few meetings with all the team in order to get updates about the progress and discuss things that need to be changes/adapted. All the files were uploaded onto Virtual drive so they were always available for my team.

I worked mainly directly with CEO of WeeDesign. The process was very smooth with only few days delay that was agreed before by my side. The communication level was very high and the atmosphere of the project was very good.

Project management was by the CEO of the company and he was personally involved into the project. Timeline was requested by our side and WeeDesign finished the project just few days after it ended. The delay was agreed by both sides.

They were a very creative and professional team — they will work until the final product will suit exactly to customer needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The first interviews and later work was done remotely over the web. In these days we meet less physically and online-meetings become the usual. Beautiful office in the past became any beautiful room with company logo in the background and its very important to use it. Most of the meetings with WeeDesign were made from a regular rooms with no company brand logo on the background or anything else. It was fine for me, but it can create unsuitable atmosphere for others. Thus, I propose to use a branded room for VC calls to provide the best first impressions possible.

They sent style frames, then sketched out storyboards, then provided full color motion graphic animations and handled all revisions at every step.

I worked with Vitaliy who was prompt and efficient about sharing work and responding to notes. Most everything was done by email with pdf attachments that I could mark up with notes, and links to videos that we marked up in Frame.io.

We needed tutorial videos for the OKR Board for Jira. Our main goal was to rise User Activation through the video Guide for beginners, discover new opportunities of educational content and generate more downloads on Atlassian Marketplace.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

One of our clients recommended WeeDesign as a reliable creator for educational videos. We took a closer look at their portfolio, Vimeo, Behance, reviews and made the first call. We were really impressed.

Everything started with the call with Vitaliy. He asked a lot of questions about the product, our goals, and our users. We shared all the details about our vision, the structure of the future videos, what we like and what don't.

In a day or two, Vitaliy shared a very detailed estimation document with a quote proposal, we discussed it, made small changes, signed it and the work started.

In two days, Vitaliy introduced me to WeeDesign Project Manager - Sofia. Sofia led the whole video production process from start till end this was a great experience. We communicated with the WeeDesign in-house team often, we always knew what is happening on the project.

We needed to create 10 pedagogical videos covering different topics in the hospitality industrey. We were looking to have a clear and precise representation of our material which would help the students to understand the information in a fun and ineractive way.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We asked WeeDesign to create a demo video from an already exsisting script. We liked the result and chose WeeDesign from 10 other competitors along with another company.

We started with a demo video, then we had an online meeting to discuss the details. Each video lasted about 5 minutes from a 600 word script which was provided from the university. WeeDesign provided us with a storyboard, voice over and animation. Quite a few e-mails were sent back and forth to finilise the videos.

We had a few feedback phone calls throughout the process to make sure that we are on the same page. It was helpful as some points which we wanted to be better were recurring and it was important to talk them over.

In the beginning we were looking to understand each other and find a way to communicate together in an effective manner. With each video we had quite a lot of comments but in general a lot of things improved.

It would be good to include more creativy into storyboards. Also it might be helpful to do more research about the subject which the video is going to be produced on to choose images and animation more appropriately.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a short video, less than a minute, where we can explain how our product can help website owners, to increase their sales.

SOLUTION

How did you select WeeDesign?

WeeDesign standardized all stages pretty well. Communications, explanations, mockups were on a top-notch level. We had felt that we understand what is going on clearly and that we move in the right direction at each stage.

At the kick-off meeting, we explained in detail what we need to the team. They prepared the first mockups, that explained to us, what will be on the video and their plan for that. In the next stage, we got colored images, from this point, we understood how the design will look like and e made our corrections.

Then we got a draft of the video, we understood the dynamic, effects here, made some more corrections. And finally, we got the colored promo video, where we made the final adjustments. After it, we waited a bit, until the video will be rendered in high-quality resolution. Now we already placed the video on YouTube and our side and starting advertising.

I wasn't able to imagine, how they can make a video that I will love but they have such smart stages that went me through all processes without any doubts.

My creative studio specializes int he creation of experiences for live events primarily using projections, environment design and interactive experience. I am the chief creative and supervise all aspects of our projects.

We engaged Wee Design to take storyboards, characters and environment elements and turn them into fully realized 3D models with animation optimized for ingest into our Unity scenes. These 3D elements would be the backbone of the 3D scene we used for an AR video game performance.

To have a library of characters and other 3D elements we could use to compose the 3D scene with all of the attributes needed.

Vitaliy introduced himself to me within an online animation community and we discussed the possibility of his firm helping me on various projects. This one seemed like the best fit to try the new relatonship.

The project is an experimental performance where there are live actors on stage and the audience is wearing AR headsets watching the performance through a layer of 3D real time animation.

We gave the Wee Design team a selection of creative design references and they worked on selections of artwork progressively with regular feedback from us on how to improve and eventually hand off a finished usable asset to us.

Everything that the Wee Design worked on was easily integrated into our production pipeline. They even in some cases could help us optimize the models for Unity that saved our artists time making the assets work.

Vitaliy and his team were great communicators. They always knew exactly what was next on the list, exactly what sort of feedback they needed to gather so their artists could keep working. This was also impressive considering we were working in different time zones and with a team speaking another language. Their skill set was perfect for our needs and everything got done in a timely fashion.

Our CEO organized a project with a workshop to share the same culture, values, and work ethic with all of our employees. We needed an agency to design characters that respond to our needs. We wanted to create a community of characters who reflected the values of each collaborator in the company.

We’re happy with the design of the characters as well as the website because the prototypes of the characters are clear. Our directors appreciated the designs because they were simple and clear for anyone in the firm to understand. WeeDesign was the perfect partner.

Following the first draft, we gave them feedback for adjustments. WeeDesign listened and understood our needs. Their team reacted to our feedback quickly. They respected the schedule and gave us the character designs on time.
