Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Engipulse worked on redesigning key backend components to support high concurrency and real-time interactions. The team implemented scalable microservices, optimized database and caching layers, and introduced real-time data pipelines to capture player behavior.

They also developed and integrated AI-driven recommendation systems to personalize in-game content and offers. Key deliverables included a re-architected backend, real-time event processing pipelines, AI personalization modules, CI/CD pipelines, and a fully tested and monitored production environment.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to the quality of engineering and professional management from the Engipulse folks, we achieved a 30% reduction in backend latency, and increased user engagement by about 28% over the year. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Overall, the process was well-structured and transparent. We worked with so-called embedded team model, where their engineers worked hand in hand with our in-house team which we really appreciated. The communication loops were quite short - bi-weekly high-level planning, and daily check-ins where we evaluated the progress and adjusted plans accordingly. No vendor distance at all.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The expertise of their engineers and really professional leadership. The relationship felt like we got a special force temporary integrated into our company. During the discovery phase, they asked good questions and took time to understand the product and our business problem first. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Engipulse could have done differently?

In the early stage, we had the impression that their rates were quite high. However, after aligning on a trial sprint, we understood why. Given the specifics of our case, the budget turned out to be more than reasonable.
We also wish we had more timezone overlap between the US and Poland, but we made it work

We hired Engipulse to build our internal data labeling tool at the first place. It went well and we extended our cooperation. 
They've recently deployed and fine-tuned our own on-premise LLM that we use in production already. 
Currently, besides occasional support and tech advisory to our internal IT Engineering team,we're workijg on the roadmap for our next project - building customer-facing mobile and web app aimed to organize and automate LLM training process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to the top-level engineers and solid management from Engipulse side, during our 1-year engagement, we have developed:

• fully funtctional and stable data labeling platform that is better than open-source and other options on the market;
• implemented our internal generative AI solution on-premise;
• a plan for our new product implementation for the next half a year and going forward. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project manager was very structured and proactive. She acted as our eyes and hands on Engipulse's side. She was always on time with project reporting and managed our expectations well. We had several delays, mainly caused by third parties. Those were communicated in advance. We used Email, Slack, and Google Meet for communication, Jira and Notion for backlog management, and Google spreadsheets for documentation exchange. We used Github as a code repository and versioning system.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They felt a sense of ownership—they treated our projects as their own. They have a transparent billing model and a straightforward, reasonable contract structure. Also, they have real expertise in AI and MLOps, which is hard to find in today's noisy market. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Engipulse could have done differently?

We haven't discovered anything that needs improvement. Our experience was just fine, and we continue our collaboration with Engipulse.
