Scope of Work with Engine Scout SEO & PPC Team: 

• Technical SEO: Optimise website speed & mobile responsiveness. 
• Content Creation: Hire new writers, identify content topics and optimise key content views across the home page, category pages and product pages.
• Website Structural Changes: Update site structure and shopping menu for improved customer experience. Linking Optimisation: Build external backlinks from Australian suppliers and partners including internal link optimisation. 
• Google Ads: Creation of an optimised Google ads campaign covering both Shopping and Search. Reached and maintained our target ROAS and CPA targets.
• Key Deliverables: Optimised website for speed and mobile friendliness. Doubled sales numbers. SEO-optimised content for improved search engine visibility and keyword footprint.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the kick off our project in September, there’s been a noticeable uptick in online sales. We're seeing consistent new growth in both sales from paid traffic and SEO visibility on Google search with higher organic traffic increases inline with our agreed organic traffic growth KPI of 8% month-over-month.

Engine Scout's project management was well organized, with excellent communication and fast response times. From the start of the campaign, they established clear goals and expectations along with spending time to highlight what was working and importantly what wasn't so we could work on continuous improvement. 
Throughout the project, they consistently provided excellent deliverables and the owner Jon personally took the time to have a monthly virtual meeting to discuss the overall strategy for my ecommerce business.

Their focus on being ecommerce marketing experts and how deep their knowledge is for both SEO and Google ads.

The monthly reports could be more simplified. It took me time to understand everything in the reports.

I’m the owner of an e-commerce packaging store.

What challenge were you trying to address with Engine Scout?

From the beginning, Engine Scout has assisted us with web development and digital marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team built our e-commerce platform from scratch, using WooCommerce. They built a backend that allows me to track and fulfill orders. It automatically sends invoices to customers.

After that, we went through a consultation to see how we could get visitors to the website. We started with Google Ads and then started an SEO campaign. They started with keyword research and then starting planning what would happen every single month.

I’m looking to start retargeting campaigns with them shortly.

I sometimes speak to the office admin, but mainly communicate with Jon (Co-Founder).

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m still using Engine Scout’s services, and I trust them completely. It took a little bit of time, but everything is working well. We have about 1,600 visitors per month. Over the year, we’ve seen fantastic results. They’ve changed my life.

How did Engine Scout perform from a project management standpoint?

The team is efficient and effective. They’re fast at responding to my requests all the time. They deliver reports on time as well. If I need anything, they’ll respond immediately. They have a consultative approach for our engagement, discussing what’s right for the business.

Engine Scout provides monthly reports, but if I ask them to check on something, they’ll email or call me straight away.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t worked with anyone else, but Engine Scout is easy to communicate with. That consultative approach benefits my business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m really happy. I don’t want to go with anyone else.
