Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Emeis Technologies helped us rescue and stabilize our SaaS platform, CTARS, which supports care providers across Australia in delivering in-home care for elderly and vulnerable individuals. At the time of engagement, the system was facing severe downtime, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

Optimise Database Performance

The database and application was performing poorly leading to significant server costs and poor user experience. The Emeis team came aboard and revamped the data layer to reduce server costs, significantly improve user experience and prevent major customer losses.

Secure Web Application

The Emeis team worked on securing the web application after a data breach exposed the vulnerabilities in the application and infrastructure. This was follwed by a successful ISO 27001 certification being achieved by the business.

Implement Roadmap Features

The Emeis team took on the role of the internal development team for the company and delivered the planned features in a timely manner.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We engaged Emeis Technologies at a critical point when our platform was unstable, frequently crashing, and facing major technical challenges. Within just a month, their team revived the system, resolved core issues, and stabilized performance — all within a very tight budget and timeline. Over time, they transformed the application into a secure, scalable, and robust solution. Their deep technical expertise, clear communication, and dedication were instrumental in bringing CTARS back on track. Thanks to them, our users now enjoy a smooth and reliable experience. The projects were delivered earlier than expected unless delayed unavoidably. Emeis was highly responsive and made continuous improvements to the team structures and projects in the initial few months to best adapt to our needs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were always available to answer the call or handle any issues and there wasn't a single day in the 3 years I worked with them that I wasn't able to reach the technical or management resources when I needed to.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Emeis Technologies could have done differently?

Nothing obvious comes to mind, other than probably initially in the project there were some issues with the QA processes. However, these were resolved promptly upon raising it with the management team.

Project manaement skills were excellent. We generally gave one or two lines of requirements and they always surprised us with elaborated documentation with screen design and flowcharts. 

On time: Yes, 90% ... sometimes, late but with valid reasoning.

AI features were great. 

The app was very fast, even with millions of requests.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Emeis Technologies could have done differently?

I wish they had sales team for us too. We were lacking in sales & marketing but it was our problem. App was great.
