The scope of work was to design and develop LawSigna, an AI-powered legal technology platform built around a coordinated multi-agent system. The platform is intended to help legal professionals manage complex workflows more efficiently, while retaining human review and control over important decisions.
Key deliverables included:

* Platform architecture: Define the structure of the platform and how specialized AI agents coordinate across legal workflows.

* AI agent workflows: Develop workflows to support legal research, document analysis, and related task coordination.

* Workflow integration: Connect the agent-supported tasks into a more streamlined end-to-end process, reducing repetitive manual effort.

* Human oversight: Incorporate review and approval steps so users remain responsible for validating outputs and making important decisions.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The project is establishing the foundation for measurable improvements in legal workflow efficiency. The outcomes we plan to track include:

* Time saved: Reduction in time spent on legal research, document review, and repetitive workflow tasks. 
* Cost efficiency: Lower staff effort and operating cost for eligible tasks through AI-assisted workflows.

* Fewer missed steps: Reduced omissions and rework through structured workflows, agent coordination, and human review.

We are defining baseline measurements and will report quantified improvements once they have been validated through real-world use.

What stands out about Emeis Technologies is its ability to combine strong software engineering with a practical approach to multi-agent AI. Rather than treating AI as a standalone feature, the team focuses on coordinating specialized agents across real workflows, integrating them into the platform, and keeping human review in the loop. Their collaborative, adaptable approach helped turn LawSigna’s vision into a structured product foundation.

One area for improvement would be to establish and review milestone-level acceptance criteria and progress checkpoints even more consistently, so both teams have a shared view of priorities, timelines, and completion. As the platform evolves, documenting decisions and validating key workflows with users early could also help surface changes sooner. Overall, we appreciated Emeis’s collaborative approach and responsiveness.

Emeis Technologies helped us rescue and stabilize our SaaS platform, CTARS, which supports care providers across Australia in delivering in-home care for elderly and vulnerable individuals. At the time of engagement, the system was facing severe downtime, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

Optimise Database Performance

The database and application was performing poorly leading to significant server costs and poor user experience. The Emeis team came aboard and revamped the data layer to reduce server costs, significantly improve user experience and prevent major customer losses.

Secure Web Application

The Emeis team worked on securing the web application after a data breach exposed the vulnerabilities in the application and infrastructure. This was follwed by a successful ISO 27001 certification being achieved by the business.

Implement Roadmap Features

The Emeis team took on the role of the internal development team for the company and delivered the planned features in a timely manner.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We engaged Emeis Technologies at a critical point when our platform was unstable, frequently crashing, and facing major technical challenges. Within just a month, their team revived the system, resolved core issues, and stabilized performance — all within a very tight budget and timeline. Over time, they transformed the application into a secure, scalable, and robust solution. Their deep technical expertise, clear communication, and dedication were instrumental in bringing CTARS back on track. Thanks to them, our users now enjoy a smooth and reliable experience. The projects were delivered earlier than expected unless delayed unavoidably. Emeis was highly responsive and made continuous improvements to the team structures and projects in the initial few months to best adapt to our needs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were always available to answer the call or handle any issues and there wasn't a single day in the 3 years I worked with them that I wasn't able to reach the technical or management resources when I needed to.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Emeis Technologies could have done differently?

Nothing obvious comes to mind, other than probably initially in the project there were some issues with the QA processes. However, these were resolved promptly upon raising it with the management team.

I wish they had sales team for us too. We were lacking in sales & marketing but it was our problem. App was great.
