ElefantEins completely reimagined our website: developing the concept and site structure based on SEO and competitor analysis, creating screen designs for desktop and mobile, implementing the site in Statamic with easy-to-manage content modules, technically optimizing load times and meta-data, and preparing content for visibility in AI systems. The result was a website we can continue to develop independently, along with training on the CMS.

The first interested parties who explicitly stated that they had found us via ChatGPT have since been in touch.

We worked directly with Max throughout the entire process, with no intermediaries or account management layers. Coordination took place via brief calls and email—usually quick exchanges rather than lengthy meetings. Questions were typically answered the same day. Agreed-upon deadlines were set early and met, and the launch took place within the planned timeframe. More important to us than mere punctuality was knowing at all times what was being worked on and what was needed from us next. When we requested changes, Max didn't simply agree; if he felt something conflicted with the site's objectives, he would say so and offer an alternative—exactly what I expect from a service provider. Conversely, additional requirements that arose on short notice were accommodated without lengthy discussion. All in all, it was a project that didn't require us to constantly follow up.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most was that Max views a website not merely as a design or development project, but as a tool with a specific purpose. His initial question wasn't about how the site should look, but rather what it needed to achieve for the business. That might sound like a given, but in this industry, it certainly isn't. Strategy, design, and implementation all come from a single source, and we can maintain the site ourselves afterwards instead of paying for every change.

The second point is the depth of his approach to visibility. For him, SEO isn't just a package tacked on at the end; it is baked right into the site structure. Furthermore, he treats discoverability within AI systems not as a mere buzzword, but as a foreseeable shift in search behavior that needs to be factored into the structure today. I know few people who have truly thought this through, rather than just claiming to do so on their own websites.

I also find it unusual that he consciously makes himself somewhat redundant by the end of the process. The handover involves a system that allows us to manage and expand content ourselves, without having to submit a request for every single change.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ElefantEins could have done differently?

There is little to criticize. If I had to mention one thing: the CMS training took place in a single session. For colleagues who joined later, I would have liked a brief written guide or a video to refer back to. That is a matter of convenience, not a shortcoming.
