We were getting to the point where we needed to show our customers and potential customers that we do take privacy and security seriously.  SOC2 was the 1st cert we wanted to obtain, but we had no idea what we needed to do to get there. We engaged with Elastify, and they were able to help us lay out what we needed to do, helped with planning, documentation, evidence collection, tabletop exercises, pen test, and more.  100s of pages of documentation needed to be created and reviewed, which they were instrumental in.    We were able to complete the audit with virtually no hiccups and only 1 minor comment from the auditors (on where to find a piece of evidence).  I am not sure we could have gotten to this point, certainly not in this time frame, if we were to do it alone.

We had tracking sheets to show where the gaps are, who was responsible for them, what next steps are.  We had weekly standups to go over what was needed and answer any questions.  They helped with many of the scheduled to dos like table top exercises, risk assessments, and so on.  It made it easier on our team since we are already stretched thin and working in an area we didn't have much expertise in.

Items were delivered on time.  We would post questions in a shared slack channel, via email, or in comments in the tracking sheet.  They were timely and attentive.

They were very nice people, who are interested in helping us get our certification the right way.  They have resources available for many functions which was helpful so we didn't need to go source other vendors to handle various parts of the process.

If anything, push us a bit more to get things on track.  Admittedly, we are all busy and sometimes need a bit of a push to stay on top of things.  That would have been helpful.  We addressed it with them and this was no longer an issue.

1. Benchmarking report on PBC Azure for GC Cloud PBMM Security Control Profile based on Microsoft documentation of the controls using the Canada Federal PBMM blueprint.
2. Potential security gaps that will be classified as Low, Medium or High based on best practice.
3. Azure network topology and VNet mappings.
4. Presentation of the executive summary of discovery activity and overview of reports.

Overall management was responsive and flexible where spirit of partnership and relationship building was apparent and very much appreciated.

The flexibility and adaptability to meet our specific needs. They were able to cater the SOW to address our highly regulated operating environment. They're also respectful of the existing team and the work that has already been done. As a result, a trusted relationship was formed and common objectives drafted to achieve goal of resilient, robust and scalable design solution.

There is nothing I can think of based on this engagement.

Elastify was given the grueling task of assisting us with filling a very niche, hard-to-fill IT security role. While we are backed by a handful of recruiting agencies, we were very deliberate about assigning this role to Elastify given their deep expertise in this space, and well, they certainly didn't disappoint! Their professionalism, perserverance, attention to detail, and knowledge of the IT security space, helped us calibrate our search and land the perfect candidate, who's made a great addition to our team. • Perserverance - never wavered from the mandate - finding the right person. Even if it took a little bit longer, they never threw in the towel or said we can't help you. They kept their heads down, and helped us find the perfect candidate.

We had an SCCM server that had not been maintained and staff were not familiar/comfortable using it. We needed help updating the server to current software and work with our staff to setup patching and imaging jobs so that there was adequate knowledge share and documentation.

Our server is now back into constant utilization, staff are able to use it and therefore our workstations and software are patched and maintained to current standards.
