Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the founder and CEO of a beauty brand called Lila B, a cosmetics and skincare brand based in Sausalito, California.

We needed someone to redesign our e-commerce platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I onboarded The Ecomm Guys to be our primary e-commerce development to supplement our omnichannel business.

They work alongside my digital strategy manager on elevating and improving our site's UX on Shopify, as well as several other projects.

We also have an in-house graphic designer who would put together a mock-up of what we're looking for, and The Ecomm Guys would jump into the development process all the way to the review process where we'll collaborate.

I mainly interact with Shannon (Founder) and a developer.

We spend about $2,000–$3,000 a month.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The Ecomm Guys have an incredible eye and a great understanding of what we want. They capture and implement our vision in all our projects, unlike any other digital agency I've worked with.

Moreover, the quality of their work is top-notch — with their expertise, they help us continually optimize our Shopify platform.

How did The Ecomm Guys perform from a project management standpoint?

They accomplish their tasks on time and take the time to understand our business needs and goals to efficiently develop our software.

They use Asana with my digital manager and typically communicate through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're impressed with the quality of their work, communication skills, and customer-centric approach.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything they need to improve on.

I would advise you to clearly identify your goals from the beginning to avoid wasting each other's time.
