Doina and her team worked tirelessly to create, modify, update, and revamp all aspects of the site that we requested. They met every deadline they set out for, typically only having to wait for me or my team to review and give proper feedback. All requests and feedback were taken to heart and worked on/fixed immediately.

They were very fast to respond and addressed major issues immediately. Any problem I've encountered, they have been right there to help.

Are there any areas for improvement or something EBS Agency could have done differently?

Beforehand communication could be improved. EBS would reach out long after making a login request (to our shipping account, virtual terminal, etc.) to let us know to forward them the details or to approve the login. Had I know ahead of time (even 10-15 minutes), I could have prepared and gotten them the information/approval they needed more timely. I don't want to be the one slowing progress down when I could have been fully ready to assist.

I’m the COO of a metal service center called Osorio Metals Supply Inc. We sell structural steel and do in-house fabrication services.

We hired them for their web development services. We wanted to completely rebuild our old website and make it accurately reflect the services that we provide. We also wanted to incorporate an e-commerce functionality to allow customers to purchase our products online.

What was the scope of their involvement?

EBS Agency rebuilt our website with WordPress. They handled the entire process and implemented all the e-commerce features we requested, including a WooCommerce plug-in. Additionally, they helped us sync our QuickBooks POS system with our Webgility account, enabling customers to purchase any of our products through the site. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people from their side, but we were mostly in touch with their business development manager.

How did you come to work with EBS Agency?

It was through a recommendation.

We spent around $24,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this project from November 2020–August 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

EBS Agency did a great job of building a very complex website for us. They dug really deep to truly understand our business and products inside and out, as well as learn how to use our POS system and integrate it correctly with different third-party platforms and technologies.

How did EBS Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We didn’t stay on budget, and they failed to meet deadlines because of us. We kept delaying the process; for instance, whenever they asked us to review something, it would take us more than a couple of weeks to do so, which pushed the project further. We also wanted to add more items to the site, which led to additional costs.

For tracking tasks and sharing information, we used Google Sheets. For communication, we only used Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We really appreciated the fact that they went above and beyond to make our website work; any other web developer wouldn’t go that far or would have charged us more money. The team was also very professional, patient, and wonderful to work with.

Are there any areas they could improve on?

They could’ve worked a little faster, but that was understandable because our website was very complex; they had to do a lot of research.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I definitely recommend working with them. They will really work hard to make whatever it is that you want out of your website.
