Our dedicated consultants were very hands on, but overall Project Management and delivery schedules were a bit all over the place due to the numerous amount of tasks and initiatives that were planned for our go-live.

After go-live/dust settling, we were able to build a much better communication strategy between DynamicsSmartz and our internal team to make sure tasks were delegated appropriately and dependencies on each other were efficiently communicated

Outside of the on and off hiccups we have with our dedicated team, really wish DynamicsSmartz Product and Marketing Team would do a better job of communicating Product future goals and what is coming in upcoming releases.  While we get release notes regularly, it's pretty much a change log.  While there have been some very valuable features in recent releases, they either get overlooked or misunderstood because not all include full detail of change impact, product value, and business value.

Additionally, since there are monthly release updates, I do not trust that the user manuals are kept up to date.  A fantastic AI use case would be a chatbot that I could ask "With Project Pro, how can I do X" or "I am having trouble with X" and it be able to reference the manuals and release notes to guide me in a direction or provide an answer

The initial implementation was a high-pressure, low margin for error rush to the finish to be live in January of 2019 in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central after running the business for nearly 20 years on an antiquated, no-name ERP system. As the implementation began in November of 2018, this was a near-impossible task - but Netsmartz found a way to make this happen for us. 

All inventory and customer/vendor cards were successfully ported over (some as late as Dec 31!), but it all came together and while we still had a number of bugs to work out we went live with our new system on the first business day of January, 2019.

We were impressed with the adaptability of their team to a short window of time, and still deploying range of resources with according billing rates to ensure the right people were performing the right tasks to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of work, while still having an eye on the financial impact for our company.

Told us to wait another year and implement in less of a rush! ;) Joking of course, we were the ones that pushed it. Seriously, given the time frame they had to work with and the pressures being put on them, I do not see how they could have performed any better. Excellent work all around.

• The data from NAV was successfully migrated to BC. The key functionality for each department was working. The thought to roll-back was never even brought up for discussion as the issues raised were solved immediately. The existing work instructions were translated across to BC instructions. The most issues were encountered with 3rd party software.

Netsmartz were very proactive in the management of this project. The key point of success was the very good communication between the project managers on both sides. The delivery of items, follow up of issues, solutions and guidance from Netsmartz has been exemplary.

All the personnel I dealt with were keen to make the implementation work. Each member was keen to ensure that an ideal solution was found. Questions and errors were patiently dealt with until the user was satisfied.

DynamicsSmartz should have some more clarity in the specifications for the implementation. Along the lines of Functional Specifications, System Configuration, Design Qualifications etc. Though there may be internal documents, there was nothing provided to us. The said documents were provided only after we requested them.
