BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a travel guide and responsible for new projects at Forasteiros, a travel agency in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Most of the trips are from Sao Paulo to other places in Brazil such as Rio de Janeiro, and most are eco trips which focus on adventures and nature.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Dub Solucoes?

We needed a company to develop a website and a mobile application. Right now, reservations are made through Facebook, and we wanted a better way that would also build our credibility as a company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The main aspect was the reservation system, since it was difficult doing this through Facebook. The site and app make it easier to make reservations and accept payments, and they add credibility to our brand. The app is for both iOS and Android.

What is the team composition?

There were four developers, including designers and web programmers. The head of the project is Fabricio [CEO, Dub Solucoes], and two other programmers.

How did you come to work with Dub Solucoes?

They were the best company to work with because they have great communication; they’re open with how they work and presented it well.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in October of this year, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a meeting recently where we showcased the website, and everyone is excited about it because it’s even better than we expected.

How did Dub Solucoes perform from a project management standpoint?

They use a lot of tools, such as InVision, which makes it easier for me to give my opinion on the project. I’ve worked with website developers before, and we just used email to communicate, and it was difficult. They gave us a lot of options to make the project cheaper while maintaining the quality, and we know we can trust them.

In terms of communication, it’s been great. I can contact them using WhatsApp. I can make comments through InVision, and I can see what’s being done and what’s to be done next via Trello.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I found InVision incredibly helpful, and the entire team is full of friendly people.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. They’re great, and I’ve been impressed.
