I’m the CTO of a company that helps merchants distribute their brand through campaigns directly with financial institutions. We target banks that have their own cards and want to offer cashback to their clients to incentivize usage of those cards. The merchant provides us with a budget, and we run ads through the bank to incentivize people to make purchases at those merchants.

DreamTen has led our rebranding process, including creating a wordmark, logo, and brand colors. The team has also designed and developed our marketing website using Framer. 

They turned our name into a wordmark and designed our logo. The website shows people what our business does and has a contact form. 

The team has used Figma extensively to create mock-ups and gather our feedback on the designs. They also created some slide templates for deck presentations.

I know their founder and have worked with him on other concepts. When we were presented with this project, we asked the team to give us a basic offer and package to do the work for us, and we accepted.

We’ve received anecdotal comments from partners that they enjoy the new branding and color palette. It’s very professional and eye-catching.

How did DreamTen perform from a project management standpoint?

The team has exceeded our deadlines and come in under the original budget. We communicate using Slack and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team's ability to capture the essence of our brand in a short time is impressive. Although they aren’t experts in our space, they’ve done a tremendous amount of research in a short period and have been able to boil that down into an aesthetic that’s exactly what we’re looking for. The team keeps up with what’s trending in the web space, which is impressive.

We haven’t had any negative feedback. It’s been a very positive experience all around.

They are experts at what they do. If you’re not an expert, stepping back and allowing them some creative freedom will give you the best opportunity to maximize their expertise.

I’m the director of digital marketing for a pet care company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dreamten?

We needed help migrating our website to another CMS solution.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dreamten migrated our website from WordPress to Webflow, an entirely new CMS. We needed to migrate to move faster and do things better at scale. The team moved us entirely from the old platform to the new one in record time, giving our brand a new refresh.

Dreamten upgraded all of the design and architecture in collaboration with us, including where we wanted the URLs routed and what we wanted the site navigation to look like, and updated a lot of the functionality. They also did a bunch of design improvements.

Dreamten designed many mock-ups in Figma, which was helpful because it was a universal platform for us to leave comments. The team also shared QA links and a staging environment via Webflow so we could interact with the site before deploying it to the public.

Dreamten provided a team of around 4–5 people. We had a primary point of contact, Jason, the lead designer. We also worked with a junior designer, a lead developer, and an executive owner who oversaw everything.

How did you come to work with Dreamten?

We already had a relationship with Dreamten. The team had helped us on several of our other sites. Because of the great work they had already done, Dreamten was a natural first option when we wanted to pursue this re-platforming project.

We still wanted to be sure they could achieve what we were hoping to achieve, so we hopped on a call with them and walked through all the details we were expecting. The team helped us know exactly what they could do for us. We talked to a few other companies, but Dreamten was the best option out there by far.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our main goal was to increase engagement with our site navigation and filterability. That was a big bet for us, and it's up 100%. Previously, visitors didn't even look at it, but based on precise readings and feedback, people's interaction with the site is much better. We have people navigating from piece to piece and setting unique filters that show them the exact content they need as pet owners.

We've also started getting more sign-ups for our newsletter on the site when that wasn't an option. Many of the results we get aren't as much about the posts as they are about the things that didn't exist before Dreamten made it happen. We're thrilled with the results so far.

How did Dreamten perform from a project management standpoint?

Dreamten was great. The team was super proactive and on time. Whenever we had a chance, they were already there and finishing things before we could even get the words out of our mouths. We never found ourselves waiting for them to deliver something. If anything, the bottleneck fell on us.

From a project management point of view, they outlined a Gantt chart so we could tune in and be sure we felt good about where we were progressing. Dreamten stuck to the original timeline we had planned, so they killed it.

We communicated via Slack and had a channel dedicated to this project with all the stakeholders. We also had a weekly recurring meeting with them on Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Dreamten's team are great people you like to spend time with and work with, which can be rare. We have them coming in next week to celebrate the re-platforming and discuss the next chapter together, and we're excited to have them in town.

I did a re-platform a few years ago for another website at another company, and I dreaded doing this, but Dreamten made it as smooth as possible, and we're just super excited about where we ended up and where we get to go next.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have anything for this project. I'm just delighted with where we ended up.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Lean into Dreamten's transparency and level setting at the onset of a project. If you want to know if the team can do something and how they would do it, they're willing to take the time to walk through everything with you so that you have confidence in their work.

This was a big and daunting project ahead of us, and we wanted to be sure we had the right partners. Dreamten didn't give us a sales pitch; they explained exactly how they would do it. They told us their limitations and where they would do well, which gave us the confidence to move forward with them. When talking to Dreamten, know what you're getting is genuine.

They send us a link to a Figma design where we provide feedback, and they make any changes. They also do a little bit of copywriting as part of the design. Sometimes, they use Loom to send over videos of what they've designed.

We started working together in October 2024, and we've given them more work since, so the engagement is ongoing.

For one of the recent landing pages they've designed for us, we've doubled our conversion rate from Google Ads, which is a great result. Overall, the designs have been well-received, and I've really enjoyed them.

I'm the founder and CEO of Blockframe, an NFT marketplace backed by Matter Labs, which is supported by a16z. We feature a creator studio that can generate millions of NFTs at scale, whether they're images, videos, or audio.

We hired them to redesign our NFT marketplace and extend some of our platform's capabilities. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dreamten redesigned our marketplace's UI/UX using Figma. They also helped us develop a new product that came about during the design process, extending our platform's capabilities. The team handled the design, and our team handled the technical side. However, Dreamten also learned React and Web3 coding principles. Regarding Web3, the learning process included how to interact with the blockchain and how to design navigable Web3 content. We released the team's work on the NFT marketplace.

We had four core team members from Dreamten, including Philip (Founder), Jason (Partner), Grace, and Lahesh (Senior Product Designer). Throughout the process, they also gathered feedback from Dreamten's wider team.

We found them on Clutch. We selected them because design was their bread and butter, allowing us to focus on what we're good at.

The project lasted from February–August 2024. We hope to continue working with Dreamten as we get work added to our plate.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement??

Our website analytics steadily increased after working with Dreamten; we're currently at 62,000 users. Currently, we're building the new product that came out of the design process. We're currently in discussions with several of our clients about engaging in six-figure contracts regarding the new product and have received several acquisition inquiries. 

Dreamten went above and beyond and took ownership of the design and product pieces. They didn't just deliver modern designs; the new product they helped build is the first of its kind and will take our company in a new direction. The team didn't shy away from tackling challenging problems. 

The new UI/UX designs were the same quality as our top contenders. We also liked that design was their sole focus and area of expertise, which allowed our internal team to concentrate on the technical side. That way, we complemented each other well with no overlap. Overall, we look forward to delivering an exciting experience to our users and partners.

They did an excellent job. Their team worked tirelessly and nonstop to get our products where we needed them. They embraced new technologies and difficult tasks. They would often have the designs ready for questions before we even asked them.  We met twice a week via Zoom, and they were also available to us on Slack all the time.

I’m the head of marketing for Ubiquity Retirement & Savings, a small business retirement provider offering 401(k) plans for various industries.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dreamten?

We were undergoing a major rebrand, changing our look and feel, as well as the functionality and design of our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked with Dreamten on this project and went through various stages. First, we had a strategy and feedback stage, during which we walked through the initial concepts and things that we gravitated toward, including colors and design elements. The process was very collaborative, as Dreamten really wanted to get our firsthand feedback on things. It took us various weeks of work and iterations to finalize key web pages and our new logo.

Throughout this process, the team brought their background knowledge to guide us on how a user would travel through our site and use its different elements. Thus, they made us think not only about the design but also about the site functionality, the backend development, and the flow of our lead funnel. As for the technology stack, Dreamten used Figma to create the new designs. We also switched our website platform from WordPress to Webflow.

What is the team composition?

Every week, Jason (Partner), Philip (Founder), and Abby (Senior Product Designer) joined our weekly calls. Moreover, Aleksandr (Senior Frontend Developer) was the teammate who did all the development work to build our new site, although I didn't talk directly with him.

How did you come to work with Dreamten?

I was referred to them by someone internally who had already vetted Dreamten. I really liked their portfolio, as it was clean, professional, and modern — the kind of work I was looking for. Moreover, they had some industry knowledge.

Jason is a former employee of an investment company, so I knew he already had insight into the retirement space, which would be valuable later on throughout the process. Philip was also a customer of a competitor of ours, so he would also be able to provide insight. Dreamten's industry knowledge, plus their own area expertise, was what helped solidify our partnership.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We kicked off the project in late December 2023, and we went live in April 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before this project took place, we were struggling with our website traffic after a recent update to Google's algorithm. As soon as we launched the new site, our traffic immediately picked back up. We saw several days of anomalies within our Google Analytics traffic as we exceeded the traffic forecast that Google had put out there. We continued to fine-tune some things across our site regarding the messaging, so it was like a 2.0 version of updates.

We've been around for 25 years, but our previous branding didn't really reflect that longevity or put us in a professional light. However, Dreamten's design quality and the thoroughness they put into each element they created for us set us apart. They helped us position ourselves in a better light within our space so that we came across as creditable professionals who had been around for years.

All in all, we had a great engagement and achieved a really positive reception of our brand. We ran a lot of social campaigns and got a lot of direct feedback from our followers, who told us that our brand looked great. They were happy to see that we had invested in that side of our business.

Once we went live with our new designs, one of our competitors was already trying to mimic some of the things we had rolled out within our new site. This situation indicated that we had done something right that people wanted to replicate.

Overall, I would definitely refer Dreamten to others. We're actually thinking of redoing the backend of our product and its UI, so we're already talking with their team about a potential next round of work with them. The quality of their work speaks for itself in the fact that we want to continue our partnership.

How did Dreamten perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything stayed within budget, and Dreamten met all the deadlines. Their team took feedback really well, they came back each week with different iterations based on the things we liked or didn't like. The process took a little more time than expected, although not on their side but ours, as we tried to articulate what we wanted and come to a final conclusion.

We actually had to push the website launch one week because we were struggling to get access to some domain information. Due to the migration from WordPress to Webflow, we were struggling to get some of our DNS information. Therefore, although the launch was delayed, it wasn't Dreamten's fault.

As for communication, we had two meetings every week. One meeting was about 30 minutes, and the other was one hour. The 30-minute call was with a smaller group within the marketing team, and a larger focus group joined the second, longer call.

We also set up a Slack channel with key people from our company and theirs who were part of the project, so we had direct access to them. Whenever we needed to hop on a quick call, we sent them a Slack message to set up a meeting. On top of that, Dreamten was always responsive via email.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I would like to give a shout-out to their entire team. Jason was the leader of this project, so he spearheaded our conversations every week, pulling presentations together and offering readily available Slack communication to answer questions. Philip also did those things, but Jason was the one who took the lead. Even since we went live, Jason has remained available to help us with additional materials or other things, offering ongoing support.

Still, the entire Dreamten team worked hard on this project. There were other teammates working behind the scenes that I didn't even know, but all of them deserve a lot of praise and appreciation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We had a short runway for a really big project, so I was really impressed with the amount of effort the Dreamten team put in week after week to churn out new pages, new results, and new things to look at. The team was willing to take in our feedback and hear what we were saying, even when we were nitpicky or couldn't articulate ourselves. Then, they came back week after week with changes, improvements, and iterations.

Dreamten took feedback really well and made actionable changes immediately. I really liked that they listened to what we wanted. Even during the early strategy sessions, they asked us a lot of questions. They even interviewed our CEO and took a lot of notes to ensure that they fully understood our brand and where we were headed with this project. Dreamten's active listening and involvement really helped keep things on pace and get things to the next level.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing Dreamten could have improved on. It was such a positive experience that we want to work with them again. Any stalls we experienced were expected with any agency, so I don't blame them. Most of our challenges were regarding the logo, which is something very personal to a brand, so getting it right takes time.

Philip even told us that they went through hundreds of iterations before deciding on Dreamten's logo. During the logo creation process, our teammates were eager and frustrated, but it was never due to Dreamten's work but due to the fact that we didn't understand the full design process.

Still, Dreamten, being a company that has gone through these projects before, managed everything very well. Therefore, there wasn't something that they could have done differently to get things moving faster. They kept everything organized and on pace, and whenever they were waiting on us, they proactively worked on something else to try to keep moving things forward and meet the deadline.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Choose your internal focus group wisely; it's very important. You can also have a diverse group of people who can weigh in but try not to include too many people because having many opinions can slow things down. Moreover, overshare with Dreamten to help them better understand what you're looking for so that they can get to the results faster.

We needed help with design services for our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dreamten has been helping us with UI/UX, product, and graphic design in a remote capacity. The team has also worked with us on proof of concept, prototype design, and brand creation projects.

Dreamten has been working with us since the v1 version of our projects, which is the most tricky part, especially with blockchain technology. The team has addressed all of the design-related issues we’ve encountered and has worked very closely with us to define the UX and understand the programming languages and patents we want to implement, including all the new sets of products we can build on top. These tasks have also required them to partner with our project manager for user and competitive landscape research to see what features make more sense for the products we want to build.

Ultimately, we’ve decided to create out-of-the-box explorer and blockchain wallet products.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Dreamten’s work has helped us remove friction from the developers who build products on top of our blockchains. Both of the products that Dreamten has been working on are user-friendly, have a distinctive look and feel, and have received positive feedback. In addition, the wallet product they’re helping us with is the most successful, consumer-oriented wallet in the blockchain field.

Overall, Dreamten’s work has been successful, including the proof of concept projects they’ve been involved in, because it has helped us leverage our products and convert potential partners.

How did Dreamten perform from a project management standpoint?

Dreamten has exceeded our expectations in terms of project management because they deliver everything on time and within budget and communicate well with us. Regarding tools, we mainly use Slack and ClickUp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Dreamten is nimble, and I’m also constantly amazed by their high-quality turnarounds, ability to listen, responsiveness to feedback, and innovative ideas.

I don’t think they can improve anything; given the constraints and what I’ve needed from them, everything has been good so far.

I’m confident with Dreamten’s ambiguity, but to get the best results, I recommend being specific with the problem statement you bring to them and having an inquisitive mind in the early stages of the design process.

I’m a product engineer for a company that works on legacy applications and mainframe applications modernization. We can work on apps developed 30 years ago to figure out how they work and document those systems. Our clients are typically financial institutions and government agencies who want to modernize their mainframe. We review the app’s code, create documentation, and eventually migrate the app to a modern language like Java or C#.

We needed to overhaul our website and improve our web platform’s UI/UX design to enhance our market presence.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, Dreamten helped us update our sales and marketing materials and overhaul our website. One of the primary deliverables of this project was our web platform’s UI/UX design overhaul, and Dreamten implemented changes based on the customer usability study they conducted. Dreamten talked to some of our major customers to identify our platform’s pain points and improvement opportunities.
Dreamten used Webflow and Figma to create prototypes and shared the progress with us. The team later deployed these designs on our web-based platform.

I worked with around 5–7 teammates from Dreamten, including Phil (Founder) and Jason (Partner). I also worked with one developer, Rob (Senior Product Designer), and three other designers.

How did you come to work with Dreamten?
Our project manager found Dreamten on Google and reached out to them along with other service providers. We were impressed with Dreamten’s portfolio and selected them over their competitors. Additionally, Dreamten was located in our area.

We first contacted Dreamten in February 2023 and signed the contract in April 2023. We wrapped up our project in October 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Dreamten’s design work quality was fantastic. The designers we worked with were very experienced and had great ideas that were able to execute. Our platform wasn’t live yet, but we saw a traffic increase on our website.
Moreover, Dreamten sat with us and took the time to understand how our product was intended to be used, which was really helpful in improving our platform’s UX. 

How did Dreamten perform from a project management standpoint?
Dreamten went deep into our project and platform’s features, which caused us to push the final delivery date because the team worked more than we had originally contracted them for. However, I can’t say it was an issue because this was the result of Dreamten’s thoroughness during the project.
Dreamten was good at taking our feedback, listening to our concerns, and adjusting as necessary. We had weekly Zoom meetings and shared a Slack channel. Dreamten also invited us to their Figma board, where they shared designs as they progressed, and we could add comments. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
I had good interactions with Jason; he was good at managing the design process. I’d also like to shout out Rob, who had great design ideas.

Are there any areas they could improve?
An improvement opportunity for Dreamten could be regarding upfront communication. Although the team gave us a deeper understanding than our original expectations, we had planned to use certain tools or platforms for development, and Dreamten didn’t use those tools directly. 
Some design tools didn’t correlate with the development side, and we had to figure out which tools to use. We were expecting to get some components, but we could’ve just had better communication up front with Dreamten.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend ensuring you have all your questions in place because Dreamten is really responsive and communicative.

Philip overdelivers on availability and communication during the project. Dreamten is the fastest UX/UI and for that matter front end dev agency I have seen over my 25 year career.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dreamten does an amazing job filling in the client gaps to make an amazing, well rounded and exceptional product. The value delivered is off the charts.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Dreamten could have done differently?

This was a massive project and the largest milestone was set for 2 days before Christmas. Most of our team was off for the better part of two weeks for the holidays and then at an offsite to kickoff the year. We should have set that milestone later as we did not look at their work for three weeks after completion.
