DreamItReel had to pull together many different components together to create this overarching video. It was a mix of already created videos (many already created by DreamItReel, as we work with them for many video projects) but also a mix of created completely new video assents based on images we provided our products. We sent individual assets of single images, stock footage, logos, and many other branded assets that need to be combined in a clear and cohesive flow.

I'm the account supervisor for the brand who hired for this production. I am the main point of contact for the brand & decision maker when it comes to vendor selections.

For what projects/services did your company hire DreamItReel, and what were your goals?

We hired DIR to produce both static and gif assets for our client, highlighting their new sheet colors. Our goal of the shoot was to get some net new assets that the client hadn't ever had before, and to get some great motion shots of the product in action.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found DIR through Linkedin after I was approached by an account lead. We had several discussions with the team and decided to hire them after agreeing to a budget. The deciding factor for this production was the cost. Our client had a limited budget for the production shoot and DIR was able to work within our range to make it happen.

The lead up to the production is always a bit hectic, securing location, talent, clothing etc. No production happens without its blips, but it's important to note that DIR took ownership of making it happen. When certain talent didn't work out, they handled. When location didn't work out, they handled. At the end of the day, they got us to production day pretty seamlessly.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Ravid, Barbara, and William, alongside Neal the photographer. All were great to work with. Post production was pretty seamless and our edits came back great and on time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Having new assets drove significant lift in sales for the company. They laid a foundation for the new brand look and feel on digital and we still use the assets today in various ways. We feel having these assets was a huge success for this client, and we're glad we had DIR as a partner to make it happen within our budget.

Without a formal producer on set, Ravid did a great job coordinating talent, location and making sure meals were provided etc. We know that is a full time job and at the time, we were a small agency that didn't have connections to producers. Now looking back, DIR provided that service to us and we're grateful for that.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Similar to our small agency, DIR took charge wherever they could. No producer, no problem. Ravid (Owner) was responsible for not only acting as a producer, but also as a Director of Production for the shoot. He was very hands on, communicative, and I felt their whole team was there to get the job done, and get it done right.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

During the pre-production process, things could have gone smoother. But I fully understand that we could have had a producer on our side to help their team make that process smoother. We had an account person acting as internal producer and with production of any size, should have had a formal producer on set. DIR worked with us through this and still made the production a success.

The scope of work was to create an updated sizzle reel for BIG Outdoor by taking existing video footage and editing it together to create a cohesive and eye-catching story.

Deliverables included a script, storyboard, multiple drafts and revisions, as well as a final product.

Multiple rounds of feedback and revisions helped understand the progress and ensure that our vision was aligned. Because of constant communication, the video achieved our goals and showcashing BIG's inventory.

We were looking for a flexible team to work with, budget-minded, and creative with a flair for short-form video ads. We wanted to create a video ad under 40 seconds to promote our annual conference.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DreamItReel has accessed existing footage and compiled a poignant, attention-grabbing video to quickly attract teachers and school administrators on PMAX, Meta, and Display Ads who need a better classroom management method for long-term sustainable results. The video includes special effects, pain points that quickly resonate with the end user, destination and landmark imagery, event footage, and powerful features and result statements. It also has a voice-over and style that are engaging and on-brand.

We found them through Clutch. Their portfolio included video ads of a similar style, length, and sizzle we were looking for.

DreamItReel is very efficient. The video's metrics are click-through and lead generation, and all are above plan and have exceeded our other ad asset types. The video assets have produced 2–3 times the CTR as our other ad types.

DreamItReel delivers all milestones on time and within budget. Our primary forms of communication with them are email and virtual meetings.

DreamItReel is liberal on edits and has a quick turnaround.
