We were looking to outsource a top notch video production company that has worked with elite brands in the fashion space. DreamItReel had a ton of examples in fashion, but also had a wealth of experience in other industries. Additonally they had a wealth of experience in all facets of video (live action production, animation, motion graphics, and also how to optimize the content for social channels.  We needed to create 1 main brand video and a ton of additional evergreen content we can use as needed.

DreamItReel delivers a high-quality product at a fair price in a rapid timeframe. There are three things that stand out about their service:

1. Their customer success/project manager is one of the best! He offers helpful suggestions at each step of the project. He quickly learned our needs and can anticipate requests before we even make them.
2. They are far more flexible than other video animation providers. For example, they are willing to take a first draft script of the video from us rather than requiring us to sit through painful brainstorming processes to write it themselves.
3. They run the whole process over email sending drafts to review at each milestone. It is easy for busy marketing leaders on our team to keep the project moving without having to pause to get on a Zoom call.

They wrote the script for the videos, identified the right voice artist to use, helped us with refining colors, images, style, music -- every part of the video production was managed and fine-tuned by DreamItReel to achieve our objectives. Their project management was amazing. They delivered items on time, every time. We are a little difficult to work with as we are juggling a heavy travel schedule across a few different teams.

Sometimes it took us longer to deliver requested items than expected. They were very clear in communicating how that would impact the delivery date and I still think they delivered ahead of schedule every single time. They used an interface that made it possible for us to comment on the video exactly in the places we wanted.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Being in the live performance business, in Nashville and nationwide, we are surrounded by some of the best video production teams. We had not, at this point, connected with someone who we felt understood our vision for a video.

When someone on our team recommended DreamItReel, I was skeptical. In the end, they envisioned something that we could never have come up with that was exactly what we were looking for. This was exactly the creative energy and vision that we were hoping to encounter with this project.

I don't think so. They led this project like the professionals they are, which we needed since video production is not our business. Their initiative and leadership was a breath of fresh air.

I’m an account executive for an international speakers bureau. I book speakers for various clients and manage three speakers.

What challenge were you trying to address with DreamItReel?

We wanted to do a promotional video for one of the speakers. I work closely with a country music star; we wanted to create a promotional video so people could understand his show. He was famous for singing with his brothers, but this was a one-person show, so it was very different from what people expected.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DreamItReel edited and put together a promotional video. The video featured celebrities working with the speaker, highlighted good friends in some stories, and showed pictures and videos of other stars. The speaker gave DreamItReel an acoustic guitar loop he had written to play in the background, and we supplied existing video footage and graphics. DreamItReel didn’t film anything; it was mainly an editing project.

We worked with Ravid (CEO & Founder), a main point of contact, and a coordinator.

How did you come to work with DreamItReel?

DreamItReel did some work for our organization in the past, so I had a verbal referral from a coworker. They’d never done anything like a project with a musical artist, but I saw some of their work, and it was excellent. I brought this opportunity to them, and they took it wholeheartedly.

How much have you invested with them?

The speaker paid them $2,000–$3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We had a confirmation of the project from the speaker at the end of December 2022, and DreamItReel delivered the final video in March 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

DreamItReel finished the product last week, so we haven’t used it yet in a marketing campaign. Our marketing team uploaded the videos to YouTube and the speaker’s profile page on our website and is working on creating a campaign to promote the speaker with the video.

Moreover, the video was pleasing and creative. Our initial vision wasn’t nearly as good as what DreamItReel came up with. The speaker loved it and was highly pleased with DreamItReel’s work. Even though he handed the project over to us, he reviewed all the rough drafts and was impressed with how the reel came up.

How did DreamItReel perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very timely and responsive. DreamItReel checked in with us and tried to figure out when we’d get all the materials over to them. They would’ve finished the video sooner, but we held them back because we didn’t get them the needed materials.

Our coordinator was in charge of gathering information and ideas from us. We had an initial Zoom call and then communicated exclusively via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Besides the creativity they offered, their biggest strength was their communication. They let us know where they were in the process and what they needed from us. Although we held them up a bit, DreamItReel held to some pretty tight deadlines, which we greatly appreciated.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have any suggestions for them. As a customer, I brought my business to DreamItReel because they were responsive, and the end product was worth the investment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

In our business, you need to invest in promotional materials if you want to be a national speaker. When you’re being considered for a job, it really reflects on you if you don’t have quality marketing materials. DreamItReel does professional, upscale materials, reflecting well on the speaker. I’d advise anyone in our business to invest in a professional reel video because most companies won’t hire you if you don’t have one, or they’ll look down on you if your video looks amateurish.

They did a fantastic job from a project management standpoint; they delivered everything on time and stayed within budget. Moreover, they were very thoughtful and communicative, and they listened to what we needed. Overall, they were really easy to work with.
