DreamIT support Uniphar across software development, testing, integration and ongoing system improvement. They work as an embedded extension of our internal teams and help deliver several core digital products.

Working with DreamIT has delivered clear, tangible improvements for us. One of the biggest wins has been the uplift in delivery speed. With their added development and testing capacity, we have been able to move work through the pipeline much faster and with more confidence.

Our release process has also become far more reliable. The dedicated tester from DreamIT has helped us tighten up regression testing, reduce defects and spot issues earlier. This has had a noticeable impact on quality.

We have also seen a marked improvement in system stability. Through focused technical fixes, root cause analysis and performance tuning, the number of live issues has dropped significantly. A standout example is the new data centre, where DreamIT’s support helped us reduce the failure rate down to just 0.5 percent.

I’m the CEO of CMO Consulting LLC. We create data, AI, and automation solutions for small to medium-sized companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dream IT Consulting Services?

We needed to create a live auditing app for an orthopedics department to centralize and audit their data from many different departments in the hospital to ensure proper billing, proper information for insurance companies to accept claims, and efficiency.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dream IT Consulting Services has created a complete bottom-up solution, including a fabric data structure and a Power App that doctors and nurses can use to track their work and expedite their documentation. The team has built a dashboard for doctors and administration, created automation that allows for much quicker documentation, and made it easy to add specific charges for each patient (CPT Codes). Dream IT Consulting Services has also created a single source of truth of what actually happened in the hospital for all other departments to compare their records to, live, while it’s being performed. These other departments are the OR, ER, offices, billing, and IT.

The team is very good at adjusting the scope according to the needs I collect from the doctors and nurses to create a custom experience that doesn’t interrupt their workflow and actually ends up saving them time. For example, we’ve saved over $100,000 in charges in three months that the billing department missed. We’ve also achieved much easier documentation and a 50% decrease in time with higher quality documentation.
