The Dragon 360 team's project management was fantastic! The team was proactive vs. reactive, communicative and easily reachable. Deliveries were high quality and on schedule. It was a great partnership, as for this project specifically, my goal was to be more hands-off and not need to actively manage super closely, and it became clear pretty early on that I wouldn't need to stress and spend more time than planned, because I could trust our team's judgement and depend upon their execution skills.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
If I had to pick, I think the speed and agility of ongoing campaign optimizations, alongside the volume of optimizations that they performed, really stood out to be as unique and impressive. It wasn't a drawn-out phase of ideation, consideration, planning, then doing....it was like one fell swoop of "here's the next thing we're eager to try", and they'd do it.
And there were times when perhaps an experiment didn't go as they'd hope, and they'd pause that back down, sometimes all within a weeklong timeframe between calls--I think this is an awesome approach. Digital marketing is so much trial and error; hypothesis and validation or disprove.
The entire team is very knowledgeable about all the different levers available, and had velocity with regard to implementation execution, coupled with the good sense of being able to pull out when the results were poor--this can be one of the most difficult things in my experience; being willing to pull the plug.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Dragon360 could have done differently?
Maybe the one item I could call out would be the reporting dashboard that was built for the campaign--I think it likely could have had some tweaks to it to make it more robust, such as additional sorting filters. HOWEVER; I will say that I have zero doubt that had I asked for specific updates, they could have been implemented--I did not, as it really wasn't a priority for me. The team put together nice presentation slide decks sharing results, so I didn't actually use the dashboard a ton.
Additionally, I'm comfortable in individual platforms and had more tendency to poke around directly if I had a specific question to answer. And finally, I'll note that because I was leaving this campaign activity in the team's good hands, I didn't feel the need to scrutinize over the data as much as I would in my normal day-to-day, because they were handing the indentification and prioritization of areas of the program to optimze.

I work in digital marketing at a technology company based in California that started decades ago. We provide intelligent process automation and document workflows for other businesses. I’m responsible for paid marketing campaigns. I work with companies like Dragon360 to help manage the advertising platforms and strategize and report our campaign’s performance.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dragon360?
We needed help getting our message out in front of the right audiences all over the world. We also have a large product set to promote. We needed a trustworthy team that could help organize our ad campaigns and that we could consult on a regular basis.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Dragon360 has encouraged and supported our company as we’ve moved to a full-funnel marketing and campaign advertising strategy. We serve different assets to different prospects. They’ve structured top-of-funnel, middle-of-funnel, and bottom-of-funnel campaigns and set budgets for each.
We’ve run Google Ads on Google Search, Google Display Network, Google Shopping, and Google Discovery. We’ve also used Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook ads, XING Ads, and Yahoo! JAPAN Ads. The ad copy and creatives come from our internal team, but Dragon360 makes suggestions and can create ad materials for us as well.
In addition to managing our campaigns and budgets, they provide general consulting and reporting.

Andy (President & CEO) is our account manager. Tamara (Advertising & Media Manager), Alan (Advertising & Media Associate), and another teammate also help our company. There’ve been different names and faces over the years.

For the enterprise side of our business, we’ve seen an improvement in cost per conversion and cost per click; On the e-commerce side, we generally have a ROAS between 400%–600%. I don’t want to share exact numbers.
Dragon360 has also helped us achieve a good lead flow mentality.

Dragon360 generally always hits the deadlines we set for them, and they’re always within budget. They’ve been very responsive to communication requests. Asana is our main project management tool; we communicate within Asana tasks as well as through email and weekly Microsoft Teams meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Dragon360 speaks directly to our team and leadership in a way that’s confident and knowledgeable. They also have a wonderful memory; when campaigns are doing well or poorly with reason, they can explain this in a way our executive team understands.
They’ve helped us pivot and get more success for our investment.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’d like to see more notes on the day-to-day optimization. Other agencies provide this, so I’ve come to expect it, but I’m sure Dragon360 would provide it if I asked.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d recommend that future clients do most of the planning internally and in advance. Leave time to discuss your plan’s with Dragon360 because they’ll have good feedback and suggestions.

The Uninvited Guest digital advertising campaign spanned Facebook, Instagram, CTV, and YouTube.It used just two video assets one :15 second ad, and 60 ad. The team took these assets and deployed at a lightening speed without sacrificing an ounce of quality! (Note: We signed the SOW 5/10 & we were live by Memorial Day!) The campaign included the digital media placements outlined above, and also a landing page featuring Elizabeth & the video.
Dragon360 found a way to build this page with very limited static assets (2 statics were captured at the all video shoot with Elizabeth). They were nimble and smart & made it work! Plus the team had great ideas to quickly optimize as our 8 week campaign developed. Archer Roose DTC channel attributes 544 'goals completed' (checkout initiated) which with over $80 average cart translates to >$40K DTC revenue driven from this campaign.
A successful deliverable in a campaign balanced between ROI & Brand Awareness. Brand Awareness was delivered efficiently across digital channels with CPMs often reaching or beating traditional benchmarks by channel. Overall Performance $13.23 avg. CPM across all channels. The Archer Roose team was especially pleased to outperform on CTV ($22.33 avg CPM on CTV)

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the former director of digital marketing of Tiger Schulmann's, a martial arts company with about 50 franchise locations in the Northeast. Each franchise is individually owned and operated.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dragon360?
We didn’t have in-house staff, so we needed help with paid search, organic search, and our website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Dragon360 handled all of our digital marketing; we typically went through four campaigns a year. We’d sit down with their project lead and explain what we wanted to achieve through the campaign. In particular, we had a New Year’s campaign to target adults, a spring campaign to target children and adults, and a back-to-school program to target children. We’d go over our goals and objectives, and Dragon360 would bounce back ideas on the best method of delivery.
Each school had its individual budget, so Dragon360 did a lot of caregiving and monitoring of each account. They optimized each one to deliver according to that location, and the team changed the campaign each year.
Additionally, we used Dragon360 for more creative purposes. They made videos and ran entire paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and YouTube.
What is the team composition?
Andy (President & CEO) was our main point of contact. However, all the daily work was handled by James (Head of Advertising & Media). Additionally, the Dragon360 creative team had 3–4 team members, including a social media manager and a web developer.
How did you come to work with Dragon360?
Dragon360 was recommended by a friend of mine who had done business with them before. We initially put a bid out and talked with three agencies. Many companies didn’t want to manage each location on their own. They suggested we rolled up our brand and did brand marketing at a high level because they didn’t want to break it down into accounts. However, Dragon360 was willing to put in the legwork. All in all, they provided the best services at the best price, so we went with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We paid $30,000 per month on average and spent about $700,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from May 2016–October 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Two vital KPI for us were the cost per lead and how we got our leads because they had to be quality leads. We couldn’t drive a bunch of people to our locations without being capable of handling the volume and pursuing them to sign up. Before Dragon360, we paid about $80 a lead, and they got it down to nearly $25.
Also, lead enrollment went up significantly. We were stagnant for a long time, but Dragon360 got us from 9,000 students to about 11,000 over three years. However, only about 50% of students renew on to another program yearly, so Dragon360 actually brought in closer to 4,000 students to retain 2,000 on the program.
How did Dragon360 perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management was excellent. We had a roadmap for our campaigns, and they took over from that. Dragon360 gave us dates to know when everything was happening and handled all the legwork until they came back to us with a fresh product.
We communicated directly with the account lead, and they provided monthly reports.
