We immediately received the initial resumes of individuals, and it was amazing how well their talents matched the requirements we had. Depending on the candidates' preferences, they organized technical interviews either online or at our office. Many extremely skilled and committed people were employed by us.

dotLinkers was very efficient; there were no delays and quick responses to all inquiries. The crew at dotLinkers was proactive, approachable, and adaptable. When necessary, they can operate alone with ease while still effortlessly merging with the current team.

We had a dedicated point of contact; she was the recruitment project manager. After preliminary screening, dotLinkers provided us with applicants, and we then assumed control of the recruiting process.

As a startup, finding good front- and backend developers was difficult, so we were looking for the right partner to help us find candidates to augment our development staff. We start every hiring process with an initial call so they can understand our needs and the job description of the positions we're trying to fill. Consequently, whenever they find an interesting candidate for us, they send us their resumes, provide important information based on their first screenings, and give us feedback depending on each candidate's professional motivation. 

dotLinkers IT Recruitment's team also offers to handle the initial interviews for the candidates, but we've decided to manage those ourselves.

Currently, despite not having the need to hire more people at the moment, dotLinkers IT Recruitment sends us interesting candidate resumes so we can keep them in our database in case we need them later.

dotLinkers IT Recruitment’s work is very efficient. Rather than sending us a lot of candidates, they only connect us with the ones that effectively cover our needs. So far, they’ve sourced us with five candidates, and we’ve hired two of them, which is a great result for us because it doesn’t feel like they’re sending whatever they have. Additionally, the candidates we’ve hired show motivation for their work.

How did dotLinkers IT Recruitment perform from a project management standpoint?

dotLinkers IT Recruitment’s project management is cost-effective and efficient. In terms of budget, they’ve exceeded our expectations because they don’t try to push higher prices and salaries to make a bigger commission, which I appreciate. Regarding timeframes, they also go above and beyond by trying to find resources quickly, even before our deadlines.

As for communication, their team is very responsive to our feedback and provides good follow-up. In addition, we use email to reach out to each other, and dotLinkers IT Recruitment can also organize meetings upon our requests.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Unlike other staff augmentation agencies, dotLinkers IT Recruitment takes my needs into account and manages a proper screening and interviewing process. This reflects their work efficiency and ability to understand our requirements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on because they listen to my requirements, which results in a good conversion rate of the candidates they send versus the ones we hire.

It’s important to establish a budget and know what you want in terms of the profile, the skills, and the technological knowledge you’re looking for in the candidates. Moreover, listen to their feedback and see what they can offer.

After that step, I meet with the department manager and someone from dotLinkers IT Recruitment. dotLinkers IT Recruitment heads up phone screenings and interviews; they provide summaries of each interview so we can have clear information on each candidate. 

That information can include the candidates' experience level anddotLinkers IT Recruitment’s impression of the candidate. They highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each candidate to help make recruitment successful.

Since the acquisition, dotLinkers IT Recruitment has identified seven candidates to fill our open positions. We’re very satisfied with the work dotLinkers IT Recruitment has done for us. We primarily look for .NET developers, and since dotLinkers IT Recruitment knows our expectations, their recommendations never fail. 

Our market is challenging to navigate, and dotLinkers IT Recruitment is doing well in finding candidates to fill our positions.

Natalia is my main point of contact; I appreciate only having one contact to collaborate with. Our communication depends on our in-house team’s preference — some prefer to communicate through Microsoft Teams, but others prefer emails or other forms of written communication. dotLinkers IT Recruitment is open to all forms of communication and is always available to exchange information.

We haven’t looked for another recruiter because we’re totally satisfied with dotLinkers IT Recruitment.

Since our company was growing, we’ve decided to hire an internal recruitment team, but if our projects expand, we may hire them again. dotLinkers has helped us expand into Poland, which was our goal. The first few candidates we hired in Poland were provided by dotLinkers; we hired 10 teammates through dotLinkers. They did a good job filling the positions that were difficult to fill. 

How did dotLinkers perform from a project management standpoint?

Our cooperation with dotLinkers was very good — we had weekly calls with Natalia, where she was very transparent and clear about the project. When we had no candidates around the holiday season, she was very transparent about it instead of hiding it. We mostly communicated through Google Meet and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can’t say anything specific that makes them stand out from other agencies in Poland.

We needed help with HR services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

dotLinkers provided recruitment services for us; they did the prescreening and sourcing for candidates based on that and were involved in catchups with the hiring managers. They were able to ask questions and calibrate the profiles and the search.

The recruiters were responsible for sourcing the candidates, walking them through the process, scheduling the interviews, extending offers, and negotiating the proposals with the candidates. We were mainly looking for backend engineers using Java which is super popular and hard to get talent.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two recruiters and their manager, and as our needs changed, they brought extra to help with the sourcing and recruiting through a fourth person.

I had worked with them before, and I reached out to one of the co-owners to see if they could help us with this project.

We had another agency we were considering, but after comparing the offers and level of service, we decided to go with dotLinkers.

We worked together from September 2019–January 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It was challenging for recruiters supporting us because we set our bar very high, but they did an amazing job and worked very hard. It was constant collaboration and feedback from them where they were giving us insights into the market.

Overall, the new teammates they resourced for us integrated very well into our company — there wasn’t a difference between their candidates and ours.

How did dotLinkers perform from a project management standpoint?

I try to make them part of the team to make them feel successful and motivated. They acted as a normal team member of our company; we had weekly catchups and communicated mainly on Slack and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The recruiters were engaged and committed.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be honest about what you’re looking for; be precise and vocal about it. We had a situation when one of the recruiters wasn’t very professional with English, and it wasn’t working well for us. We gave that feedback, and we got someone else who was better at English.

They did a lot of research and screening of our business to understand our core values and approach to be able to start 'selling' Gabi as a great workplace early in the process which is very important for the overall conversion in the hiring funnel. It also helped us eliminate the majority of non-fitting candidates to save time.

We would appreciate more incoming CVs, but we also realize how hard it is to find good quality candidates on the Polish market nowadays.
