Additionally, the candidates we’ve hired show motivation for their work.

dotLinkers IT Recruitment’s project management is cost-effective and efficient. In terms of budget, they’ve exceeded our expectations because they don’t try to push higher prices and salaries to make a bigger commission, which I appreciate. Regarding timeframes, they also go above and beyond by trying to find resources quickly, even before our deadlines.
As for communication, their team is very responsive to our feedback and provides good follow-up. In addition, we use email to reach out to each other, and dotLinkers IT Recruitment can also organize meetings upon our requests.

I’m the HR manager for Europe at a software company.

What challenge were you trying to address with dotLinkers?
We used dotLinkers as an agency when we were starting our new entity.

What was the scope of their involvement?
dotLinkers provided us with recruiting services. We provided them with the job descriptions and other specific information about the role. They analyzed potential candidates and relayed relevant materials, like candidates’ CVs, salary requirements, and experiences.
From there, we’d conduct candidate interviews ourselves. We conducted technical interviews and provided dotLinkers with some feedback on the candidates they provided. Once offers were signed for the candidates dotLinkers sent to us, we relayed the information back to them.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Natalia (IT Recruitment Project Manager) and one other teammate.
How did you come to work with dotLinkers?
We accidentally came across dotLinkers — they contacted our VP, who wanted to expand our business.
How much have you invested with them?
We paid dotLinkers $48 per hour, for a total of $6,000–$10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with dotLinkers was from July 2021–April 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since our company was growing, we’ve decided to hire an internal recruitment team, but if our projects expand, we may hire them again. dotLinkers has helped us expand into Poland, which was our goal. The first few candidates we hired in Poland were provided by dotLinkers; we hired 10 teammates through dotLinkers. They did a good job filling the positions that were difficult to fill.
How did dotLinkers perform from a project management standpoint?
Our cooperation with dotLinkers was very good — we had weekly calls with Natalia, where she was very transparent and clear about the project. When we had no candidates around the holiday season, she was very transparent about it instead of hiding it. We mostly communicated through Google Meet and emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I can’t say anything specific that makes them stand out from other agencies in Poland.

What challenge were you trying to address with dotLinkers?
We needed help with HR services.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
dotLinkers provided recruitment services for us; they did the prescreening and sourcing for candidates based on that and were involved in catchups with the hiring managers. They were able to ask questions and calibrate the profiles and the search.
The recruiters were responsible for sourcing the candidates, walking them through the process, scheduling the interviews, extending offers, and negotiating the proposals with the candidates. We were mainly looking for backend engineers using Java which is super popular and hard to get talent.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two recruiters and their manager, and as our needs changed, they brought extra to help with the sourcing and recruiting through a fourth person.
How did you come to work with dotLinkers?
I had worked with them before, and I reached out to one of the co-owners to see if they could help us with this project.
We had another agency we were considering, but after comparing the offers and level of service, we decided to go with dotLinkers.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from September 2019–January 2022.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It was challenging for recruiters supporting us because we set our bar very high, but they did an amazing job and worked very hard. It was constant collaboration and feedback from them where they were giving us insights into the market.
Overall, the new teammates they resourced for us integrated very well into our company — there wasn’t a difference between their candidates and ours.
How did dotLinkers perform from a project management standpoint?
I try to make them part of the team to make them feel successful and motivated. They acted as a normal team member of our company; we had weekly catchups and communicated mainly on Slack and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The recruiters were engaged and committed.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be honest about what you’re looking for; be precise and vocal about it. We had a situation when one of the recruiters wasn’t very professional with English, and it wasn’t working well for us. We gave that feedback, and we got someone else who was better at English.

I’m the COO of ThreatMark, a software company. We’ve built a security software solution that we sell to the financial services industry, mainly banks. These days, we have around 120 people. The company started in the Czech Republic, and it has grown. We’re now hiring people in the US.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with dotLinkers?
Nowadays, finding skilled people is challenging, especially for engineering positions. Also, getting them is hard because the offerings are much higher than the people available. We were trying to scale and search through Europe because we heard the Polish market was good. In summary, our goal was to find good engineers abroad.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
dotLinkers provided recruitment services for one specific position. Initially, we had a session where we described the basics of our company: our key selling points, how our product worked, what we believed was attractive for candidates, and so on. They used several recruiters because we initially thought we’d hire nine people. In the end, we only hired one, but we got 23 candidates.
While doing the screening, we received the CVs and the screening output. dotLinkers were very active until the point of signing the contract. Onboarding was up to us; we didn’t expect them to participate in that.

We had a dedicated point of contact; she was the recruitment project manager.
How did you come to work with dotLinkers?
We searched on Google and found them as one of the agencies operating in the Polish market. We selected three Polish agencies and had a call with them. Our experience with dotLinkers made us feel that they could do the job.

We spent around €19,000 (approximately $19,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our hiring wave took about three and a half months, from March–June 2022. We’re still in contact, but we’re not actively searching for candidates right now.

They succeeded in finding people and convincing them to apply for the job. They sent 23 suitable candidates, many of whom went into deeper discussions and considered our job offer. Moreover, we were surprised with the level of the candidates, which was really high. It confirmed that the Polish market is strong when it comes to engineers.
How did dotLinkers perform from a project management standpoint?
We had weekly synchronized meetings to go through the candidates and their status. They were really organized, and our project manager was always on time. We mainly communicated via emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability to deliver good candidates was their most surprising skill. They delivered motivated and highly skilled candidates — their level was definitely higher than we’d experienced before in the tech market.

I have no specific improvement suggestions.

Spend time explaining what’s great about your company and why people should work for you. Candidates pay great attention to this, so check if they understand and can sell that message.
