What challenge were you trying to address with Dofinity?

Our goal was to speed up development of our Drupal site, add more features, and ensure top performance of the site. We also wanted consulting on our technical development environment to optimize users experience with our sight.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The site was already live when Dofinity came on board, so we provided them with requirements for the upgrades we wanted to make. Each development request we make is very specific; they have different styles and involve integrations, the backend, the frontend, our hosting — everything, really. They manage our division’s entire digital world.

They’ve assigned a few developers to us, including two point people.

How did you come to work with Dofinity?

We were specifically looking for a vendor that was experienced in Drupal and that we could rely on to move quickly while delivering high-quality development. Dofinity also had a great price point.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since March 2019. Currently, we have them signed to a retainer.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We started working with Dofinity when our site was just a few pages, and now the site is much larger and more complex. We’ve seen improvement in every KPI we measure. For confidentiality’s sake, I can’t say what they are. If there were any changes we needed to their work, they made them quickly, for no extra charge.

How did Dofinity perform from a project management standpoint?

They exceed our expectations in this area; their team members are responsive and transparent, as well as loyal. It’s hard to companies with resources like this.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The way Dofinity has taken full responsibility for the communication in our engagement has been amazing. Their input has helped us fill in the gaps in our experience and knowledge as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They embrace every piece of feedback we give them, so they can’t really improve anything. They’re very flexible.

I’m the project manager in the marketing department of Procter & Gamble. My department supports the brand-building efforts of our global brands, such as Gillette, Always, Pampers, and more.

We hired Dofinity for their website development services. We were collaborating with the Ministry of Education in Israel to create a free workshop for sixth-grade girls, and we needed to create a website to manage and connect the three different bodies involved in that program.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dofinity has helped us develop a website for the workshop program we’re collaborating on from scratch. They’ve structured so that users can easily book workshops, and it also allows us to answer calls automatically. Currently, they provide website maintenance and hosting, and they’re in charge of any update needed.

We usually work with a core team of 2–3 people from Dofinity, but the people involved have changed over the years. Our main point of contact is the CEO.

A former colleague recommended them to us.

We’ve spent around 800,000 Israeli shekels (approximately $240,000 USD).

We started the engagement around July 2019, and it is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Originally, our goal was to reduce the cost of the workshop and simplify it through the website, and Dofinity has helped us achieve those goals.

How did Dofinity perform from a project management standpoint?

Dofinity’s project management is very professional. They use Excel files to track the project’s progress, and we have weekly calls to ensure we’re on track and discuss changes. Overall, their communication is very clear and professional. We use a WhatsApp group chat to communicate with their team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Dofinity is very responsive, and their agility and timeliness are impressive.

We hired Dofinity to rebuild Playtika's brand website within extremely short timeframe - 4 weeks. The main goals were to increase the traffic and attract potential employees and have them apply for a job.

Dofinity was able to professionally meet Playtika's strict compliancy aspects including security, performance, accessibility, etc. Dofinity is best known for its top development team by developing responsive interfaces that support a wide variety of devices and resolutions making an uncompromised user experience.

First we had to set up design meeting with the supplier in order to determinate the website architecture, Playtika's goals, needs and requirements. Dofinity have always turn to give Playtika the best technical solutions it needs. During the project, we met weekly to discuss the progress and the challenges we faced. In order to manage the progress on the best way, Dofinity shared their ongoing tasks using AirTable which was easy to track and maintain. We believe that a successful project must come with good communicate and transparency among both sides. Technologies used:

Since the go-live of the website, Playtika has known various outcomes:

We had a weekly status meeting with the Account Manager and the Developer. We also used AirTable to manage the project and the ongoing maintenance.

Dofinity's developers are professional, patient, kindly and promote tasks efficiently and quickly. Their ability to advise and give us the best solutions are remarkable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, It was a great experience! We were very satisfied with their services and performance, so we decided to hire them for an additional project, which includes WordPress technology among other architectural customizations.

Dofinity has built our university’s main website on Drupal. The site was built from scratch, so they also helped us define what we wanted. Now, they provide maintenance to the site, taking care of any updates and changes needed.

We’ve worked with 4–8 people from Dofinity, including Udi (Business Development), Peleg (CTO), and Gal (Development Manager), who have been the three main people we’ve interacted with. During the project’s scoping, two more people were involved, and we worked with three others during development.

We were looking for a company that could develop websites using Drupal. Thus, we launched an RFT in the Israelite market, and Dofinity won based on their cost and quality.

We’ve spent over $1 million over the last few years.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in January 2017, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have more than 150,000 visitors to our main website every month. This is a very large number, even compared to last year, and we can see that more and more people are visiting it. We’ve really liked Dofinity’s work, and it is helping us get great results. One of the things I like the most is that they provide us with good solutions for our needs.

How did Dofinity perform from a project management standpoint?

Dofinity works well with our internal team, and we’ve built a very good relationship over the years. We’ve been able to stay on budget, but we’ve needed to prioritize some tasks in order to stay within deadlines. We mostly collaborate using Jira, and we use email and Zoom to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Dofinity is efficient, and the quality of their work is excellent. I like their team members, who have a good combination of expertise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is always some room for improvement, but I don’t think there is anything specific that they can improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about what you are looking for, write it down, and make sure it is precise before you get to the development stage. Otherwise, you’ll spend a lot of time defining the scope. If Dofinity has a clear idea of what you want, it will save time and help them deliver what you want.

I’m the CIO of XL Media. We’re a global i-gaming and affiliate business. We specialize in sports, personal finance, and casino and are located outside London.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dofinity?

We were going through a global restructuring. Our business was growing more in Europe and the US, so we were moving many of our staff who had been predominantly based in Israel into the UK and the US.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve asked Dofinity to take on the maintenance and development of several of our core systems because they have a background with our company. They’d built one of the core systems about seven years ago, and there weren’t many people who still use that code base.

Dofinity has someone to help us maintain the platform and do bug fixing or any new feature request. For the other core platforms, we’ve provided them with some documentation. However, they’ve also done some learning on the job.

Most of the development is based on JavaScript; these are backend systems, not frontend websites. Outside of managing those core systems, they've been doing other work on key projects, helping us unpack some of our legacy technology.

We have a team leader managing the team. Under him, there's a team of developers. My team has direct contact with the developers, and I have direct contact with Dofinity’s leadership team.

It's hard to measure them on specific metrics, but they provide answers or developments within certain timescales.

How did Dofinity perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re incredibly responsive and helpful; they act like part of our team. We talk to them daily, and I speak to their leadership team once every two weeks. 

We're a Microsoft Teams-based business, so we see them on a Teams video call once a week. We also have constant emails and messages between us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're an engaging and fantastic partner.

They could improve their early communication. A few times, we’ve felt their contact with us has been reactive, not proactive.
