Buildmart Windows & Doors Our Experience Working with SalesNash on Customer Engagement Project Summary We reached out to SalesNash hoping to get some help with our lead generation - basically, we had a bunch of potential customers we weren’t making the most of, and it was time to change that. SalesNash came on board to handle our leads, which included people we hadn’t managed to win over before, as well as fresh faces who were just getting in touch.
We’re in the business of swapping out doors and windows for folks in and around Ottawa, so we wanted to see if we could get more of these people to let us come over and give them a quote. Background Here at Buildmart, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch window and door replacements. We've been at it for a while, aiming to make homes look and feel great with our services. But, we hit a bit of a snag with getting through to potential customers and really showing them what we could do.
The Challenge The thing is, we had a list of leads - some were folks who had previously shown interest but didn’t follow through, and others were brand new enquiries. Our main headache was figuring out how to turn these leads into real conversations and, hopefully, actual jobs. We needed a way to get through to these people, make a connection, and get them interested in what we offer. Solution SalesNash really took the bull by the horns here.

Sales Nash was hired to handle our outbound sales outreach efforts. They were tasked with creating outreach messages and conducting research to find fitting companies and leads.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
We received cold emails from SalesNash that were appropriately targeted, and consistent, and that led us to believe they would be a good candidate for outbound sales lead gen. We spoke with the team and found that the most impressive factor is that they have a very strong project management capability and mechanism. They not only build the program, execute it, they constantly review and seek improvements. They are an amazing team.

Lead generation: After discussing our desired personas and targets, SalesNash generated excel sheets with leads as per our specifications.
Message generation: SalesNash worked collaboratively with us to craft and generate emails and LinkedIn messaging.
Outreach: SalesNash worked on email and LinkedIn campaigns to reach out to the leads generated with the goal of setting meetings/appointments
Meeting setup: SalesNash arranged and scheduled meetings on our behalf

SalesNash has been able to book 1-2 appointments per week. Majority of the leads are new prospects. They were able to 'warm up' some very cold contacts and get them to respond.

SalesNash is very responsive and organized. We have weekly meetings and a google space channel where they inform us of their progress on a daily basis.

Sales Nash is a highly professional and reliable team that's passionate about their work. And consistently seek new ideas and performance improvement. Communication is on time and effective.

Our offerings and markets are highly technical. SalesNash did have a learning curve. But it was short, and they caught up on speed quickly. Having industry specific knowledge, especially user behavior would make the team more effective.

We were looking to compliment our sales channels with outbound sales outreach to prospects. As a small team we did not have the inhouse capabilities and were looking to test this channel as a means of selling our software.

How did you select this vendor?
SalesNash reached out to us via email and the email was so on point that we thought if they can be so on point about their own message they might be able to do the same for us.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
After a discovery meeting and a survey we settled on industries (Manufacturing, Healthcare) and channels (Email, Linked) and markets (Canada, Netherlands) to target. SalesNash was thorough in their questions and made sure they understood the customer pain points and roles. SalesNash then went ahead and crafted outreach messages. Research started at the same time to find fitting companies and leads.
Both outreach messages and research was reviewed together with us and targeting improved and was refined iteratively as part of the process. Outreach started with good tracking implemented in terms of contacts made and bookings made and segmentation data. Weekly calls were held to review performance.

Our team hired Sales Nash for their lead generation services.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Sales Nash emails and calls our potential customers, who are identified based on our digital client profile. They approach those clients and offer our platform, scheduling appointments and meetings for me.
We’ve told Sales Nash to target medium-sized healthcare organizations in North America. We want to have sales appointments with CTOs, CIOs, and CEOs of those organizations, presenting them with helpdesk solutions. Based on these requirements, Sales Nash prepares their database of potential leads for our approval. They send us a spreadsheet of the companies and people they’ve identified, and we review them. When we give our approval, they start calling and emailing the clients.
What is the team composition?
We mainly work with Alex (Outbound Sales Lead).
How did you come to work with Sales Nash?
I found Sales Nash via Clutch. We selected them over other vendors because of their price tag and level of communication.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2022, though we paused the project in December 2022 and January 2023. We’ve only recently started it, so the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The biggest metric we’re tracking is the cost per lead. Essentially, it’s how much money we invest into a sales lead relative to how many leads we receive. This is our number one success metric.
How did Sales Nash perform from a project management standpoint?
Integrating their services into our business operations is easy. We have weekly calls where they report on the progress of our campaigns. Their services aren’t cheap, so we make sure we gain enough value.
Given that, Alex handles our weekly calls and provides us with the number of contacts they approach and the number of sales calls they’ve scheduled. To manage everything, we use Asana, Pipedrive, and HubSpot. To communicate, we use Zoom once per week. For daily communications between our teams, we use Slack.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed with their focus on my KPI; the team truly understands what’s important to me. On top of that, their communication is great. When we receive inquiries from potential clients, the speed of communication between our teams becomes my top priority.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I wish they provided their services in other languages because our target market is huge.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be sure that your team is prepared to do real-time communication with Sales Nash. Aside from that, provide them with real-time feedback. When they get an inquiry from a client, they sometimes need to ask you a question about your product — make sure that someone in your team can answer them when required.

We vetted 3 companies in this space via on-line pitches and proposals, with emphasis on not only a high degree of access into our target markets, but also the appropriate decision making level. Sales Nash was the clear choice based on their past success stories as well as their approach to constant communication and pricing structure.

After agreement was signed, we completed various questionnaires that outlined our unique selling proposition and pain points for our target markets, as well as our value proposition. We then discussed the information in detail to formulate the personas and ultimately phone and email scripts for each wave.
Weekly update calls with Sales Nash centered around performance metrics which allowed us to make adjustments and shifts when necessary.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have been consistently in the 20% to 40%+ open rates for email communications, with consistent leads that are of quality, even if they did not come to fruition. From the onset of the project, we have received into the triple digits across our various targets.
More recent launches of very specialized testing has already produced double digit leads that are currently being worked, of which will help reach an additional 400 prospective targets based on affiliations of these leads.

We meet weekly to review project metrics in detail, with any other necessary communication via Slack. Sales Nash has always been responsive within a few minutes with any questions or comments communicated.

We're impressed with Sales Nash's ability to identify and reach the right decision-makers and individual targets. Their ability to develop scripts was also impressive which utilizes their past experiences to help guide our messaging and cadence for outreach.
