We shot six videos for the digital campaign in three markets in the Balkans region. Every video had a different lead actor. DME organized two shooting days in Belgrade and provided the whole production team for that occasion: videographer, director of photography, producer and his assistant, scenographer, cosmographer, catering, and audio technician. 

We got six hero videos and six tutorials as additional content, and every piece of content was delivered in two different formats—horizontal and vertical.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The campaign's videos were a great success for our client in the month they were released. Our client achieved higher product sales than the previous year. Besides that, the videos were a great success on social media, as our endorsers shared them gladly and shook the community a bit.

Project management was exemplary; everything we arranged was delivered on time, with enough room for changes and final details.

I’m the managing partner for HS Sports, a youth sports company.

What challenge were you trying to address with dme.studio?

We needed an imagery source library and a video for marketing and presentation purposes. Additionally, we operate as an agency, and in some cases, we were asked to produce websites. The challenge was collateralizing through video, web development, and images.

What was the scope of their involvement?

dme.studio provides photography, videography, and web design and development services for us. We started with a discovery phase and had conversations where they figured out what we were trying to accomplish. After that, they presented me with suggested solutions with price tags. They laid out expectations for delivery timeframes and milestones along the development path. 

We’ve done a few website projects with them. For one of the projects, we brought them in when we already had the design and copywriting, and we needed them to execute the site. They produced photography and assembled the website, filling in holes where we had put placeholders. They either custom manufactured material through photo shoots or used stock imagery in some cases. For other website assignments, dme.studio has designed websites from scratch. In those cases, they walk us through all the assets’ development and the site’s schematics, including wireframes and development. 

For photography services, they handle the lighting and set design. Although I might give them an idea about composition in some cases, they generally handle every aspect of photo shoots. In terms of videography, I provide them with a sketch of what I need, and they have creative control of the rest; they do all the lighting and composition and provide their own equipment. They’ve also put together interview questions designed to elicit the answers we were looking for.

I met them through a good friend and business partner who had had experience with dme.studio in some of his other ventures.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

dme.studio's work has made me and my partner happy, and we're both critical people. Although there are no quantitative metrics, there are emotional metrics, and I've never been happier working with a vendor developing this type of media. They've never disappointed me in the photography side — they do great work. The team also does amazing videography work; I can lean on their competency and capability for the videos. 

Their capacity to work independently is one of the most satisfying aspects of the experience. I've worked with vendors whose hands I've had to hold. Meanwhile, dme.studio takes the work out of my hands, which I appreciate. 

How did dme.studio perform from a project management standpoint?

I give them fairly high marks for project management. There have been occasions when their queue has been so filled up that I've had to wait to hear back from them more than I would have liked. However, I don't know if my expectations are realistic because they're in high demand. 

As for deadlines, dme.studio delivers on what they commit to. If they can't deliver on time, they're very good about communicating when there's interference or blockage to something. For example, sometimes we've had to wait for things because there's a prop they can't get a hold of. 

We use Trello for project management, and most of our communication is through WhatsApp. Whatever doesn't happen on WhatsApp, we handle through email, phone calls, and in person when we're in the same city. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

dme.studio's quality is insane. I've been in the business for most of my life, so I have a high standard and an understanding of what separates the good from the bad, and dme.studio's standard exceeds what most vendors out there can offer. 

In addition to being technically competent, they're also storytellers. I don't have to explain how to tell the story I want to tell; they handle everything from visuals to videography. They can take fairly complex and not very specific assignments and translate them into something that exceeds my imagination. Moreover, their prices are fabulous; I can't get this level of quality at the price we're getting anywhere else. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, they're very booked, and instead of getting an answer within a couple of hours, I might have to wait 24 hours to hear from them. However, that's expected when dealing with a company that does good work and is in high demand. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Book them early! If you have a project, make sure you get on dme.studio's queue because you might have to wait a while if it's your first project with them.

I’m a marketing manager at Halifax Hospital, a healthcare system.

What challenge were you trying to address with dme.studio?

With COVID-19, we have fewer people who want to come in to take a joint replacement class. We wanted to create a video that would teach the same things that we would be teaching in the class but also do it in a story-telling kind of way.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

dme.studio produced two five-minute educational videos for us. Going into the project, I already had an idea of what I wanted for the video, so I put a script together and sent it to dme.studio. We broke the script apart together and discussed the shot list and locations.

After figuring everything out, we sent the voiceover talent to their studio, where they recorded the voice work for the video. A week later, we all came to the hospital to film with some talent. dme.studio directed the whole thing and got all the footage they needed for the video.

From there, they sent a rough draft, which included animations, for me to approve. We went through a bit of back and forth before they sent me the final video.

The video has been very well received — everybody who saw it said it was incredibly well done. The video's on YouTube, and we have good views for it, so I’d say it’s doing what it’s supposed to do.

Our goal was to produce a wide range of short videos on the website and in our digital marketing campaigns. These range from Video Bio of our Doctors and staff to educational videos about the safety procedures we employed during the Pandemic.

Overall, we produced over 50 videos together, and it helped us become the highest-rated practice in SWFL! We average 4.9 stars with over 3,000 lifetime Google Reviews! Ultimately our practice merged into the largest Dermatology Group in the nation, Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery.

The quality and excellence of their videos and their fair and reasonable pricing made the decision easy for us! After the first visit and the results, it was clear they would be our video production vendor going forward!

We started with an initial visit to learn about the company's history and its people, which gave DME a clear sense of what we wanted to achieve. They were great to work with and brought fresh creative ideas to our project. From start to finish, the project was done on time and on budget and we deployed our videos to great reviews from our patients.

We worked with Matt and Igor as project managers and other team members. All of the DME team members were professional and respectful of our business hours and patients, as many videos were filmed during operating hours.

As we stated previously, DME videos helped convey the excellence of Florida Skin Center and its doctors and staff. Videos are the only way to capture the true essence of our unique processes at Florida Skin Center. Each guest voted on the ultimate success as we sent out over 50,000 surveys each year. 99 % customer satisfaction is rare in medicine, and I credit DME for putting into videos the special care that FSC would provide to them.

They are very easy to speak to and always very accessible. They work collaboratively with our senior team to produce the most impactful and effective videos possible. Their production visits lasted 2-3 days, and they always worked with us to shoot the scenes between work hours.

They took the time to learn about our company, our services, and the people who made us great. The most impressive item has to be the Hollywood-style quality of the videos they produced. They looked incredible in our over 60 HD TVs in our 5 offices! They conveyed how FSC cared for its patients, and it helped us grow our business by 300% in 4 years!

We don't have specific metrics and numbers; a media agency owns it, and we are a creative agency. However, we were informed by the client that the campaign that we executed along with DME studio was successful, both in engagement and visual likability.
