I’m a sales account executive and SAP consultant at Pentos, a niche firm focusing on technology applied to HR. We offer different services regarding the implementation, maintenance, and reselling of software to other companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Disruptive?

We were sponsoring an HR event in Spain and needed to design our booth’s look and feel. We needed to design some messages and deliver files to the company that would build the booth.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Disruptive designed our booth for the event. I shared with them some designs from previous events to give them an idea of what we wanted. The event also had some mandatory conditions we had to apply, such as the size of the images and some specific information we needed to put in the design.

We published some things on social media and shared some things in team meetings. We also posted some videos regarding the event on our LinkedIn profile.

Disruptive met the deadline. We asked them to do some additional changes, and they also met those deadlines. We communicated via email, phone calls, and Microsoft Teams.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Disruptive was top notch at showing progress. From wireframe to site beta to live, they had stages of development that allowed for adjustments along the way. They were very open to our thoughts while also letting us know when something may be best for later updates. 

Even as we neared putting the site live, they had the same level of desire to make sure everthing was perfect as they did in the beginning of the project.

I have no complaints about Disruptive. They were extremely responsive to our needs which was amazing for people like us that are very particular. Even a small adjustment in design, UX/UI etc was never met with any change in tone from the team. They waited on us hand and foot ensuring we were satisfied with the site.

We spoke with a number of agencies prior to meeting with Disruptive. We could tell immediately that they were different. Their level of care and desire to make our vision come to life was obvious. They felt like friends we had known for years.

They are very attentive and methodical, unlike other agencies we have worked with. They really took the time to research and understand what we do, which I appreciate, and proposed a more solid solution than I thought I needed.

They asked me many questions about the company and the industry, but they almost didn't let me make any decisions about design and communication. With agencies, I have worked with in the past, this would have been a problem, but they understood so well what we needed that they asked for creative freedom, and thankfully, they did so!

We engaged Disruptive to design and produce a branded experiential totem for a major international conference, integrating an embedded screen and a built-in wallet onboarding experience while successfully balancing both Ripio's brand identity and the conference's visual ecosystem. Disruptive also developed a distinctive merchandise collection (including T-shirts, keychains, metal pins, and stickers) that would stand out in a highly competitive conference environment and create memorable brand engagement.Moreover, Disruptive designed and produced pre-branded vinyl record sleeves for a special sponsored initiative that brought together art, music, and tech, requiring a sophisticated creative approach and exceptional production quality. The team also designed and produced custom branded wine labels for a high-end corporate gift presented during an exclusive VIP dinner, creating a premium and memorable brand experience that aligned with the event's level of sophistication.

Disruptive delivered top production quality and consistently demonstrated strong creative leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of UX design. The team quickly understood our brand, worked within established guidelines, and confidently extended those guidelines into new applications that felt both innovative and authentic. Throughout the engagement, Disruptive proactively identified opportunities for improvement, presented thoughtful alternatives when challenges arose, and maintained a high level of responsiveness despite tight deadlines and complex production requirements.Moreover, 14,000+ conference attendees interacted with the totem experience, and 100% of the merchandise inventory was distributed during the conference. We also saw a 4x increase in booth traffic compared with previous events, and 45 VIP guests received the wine gifting experience. We also received a 100% positive feedback score from event attendees, partners, and internal stakeholders. Additionally, we saw a 3x brand lift on the conference attendees through different initiatives, mostly including Disruptive's production. We also got two major corporate deals and 15 quality leads combining the conference initiatives and the VIP event initiatives.
