I’m the founder of a car rental company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Disrupt'em?

We needed a company that could provide us with custom software development support. We had worked with a couple of other development companies before, but we were not satisfied with the quality of their work, and we had to redo a lot of their work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Disrupt'em to build a custom software suite with three different components that make up our whole system: a complete backend Laravel system, an admin system, and a vendor system. We started the engagement by providing them with a detailed document containing descriptions of the functionalities I needed. We then started working together to design the user experience phase by phase using Miro. Aside from that, Disrupt'em has also helped design our brand identity.

We worked with 14 people from Disrupt'em, including their founder, iOS and Android app developers, designers, backend developers, and a project manager.

We’ve spent around $100,000 on this project so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re still in the development phase, but we can definitely say that we’re happy with the product and are almost ready to go to market. We’ve also done some testing, and our users are satisfied with the platform. We’ve received a lot of feedback from them and have since expanded the project scope.

How did Disrupt'em perform from a project management standpoint?

Disrupt'em excels at project management — so much so that we’ve adopted their methodologies into our internal team. They usually meet deadlines. We broke the project down into sprints and tracked everything using Trello.

We typically communicate through Slack and Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with Disrupt'em’s flexibility, proactive approach, and ability to put themselves in our shoes. They’re able to add new resources when needed and handle all of our integration and development needs. They also provide valuable recommendations to further improve the solution. We also appreciate how well Disrupt'em understands our business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their Android development skills.

They have a very good and talented team, the results are amazing, and I'm satisfied and surprised by them.

How did Disrupt 'em perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent. They're responsive and communicate with us via WhatsApp, Slack, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like that they do both UI/UX design and coding. Moreover, a member of their team is working in our same country, so they understand our mentality.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could deliver earlier, but any delay is because we keep changing things, so everything's perfect.

Go for it and work with them because they're amazing.
