I'm the marketing director and co-founder of a company that operates multiple e-commerce websites and online brands. We were going through a transition with our internal team and the idea of centralizing our marketing operations under D&Z for a flat monthly rate with unlimited requests really appealed to us. Our biggest hesitation going into the arrangement was that it sounded too good to be true. Unfortunately, we ended up canceling after month one. While the PMs were friendly, well-organized, and flexible, the service was slow and the work was mediocre.

We liked the flat rate model for unlimited requests best. They were open to using all the platforms/tools we requested and had no issues sharing source files.

The design work was average. They seemed to rely heavily on templates. While the PMs were friendly and responsive, they lacked technical knowledge and I feel like there was a communication breakdown on more complex tasks. As someone who has worked directly with developers and designers for years, I feel like the D&Z project managers added a layer to the process and things were lost in translation. Either that or their devs were very junior resources. They messed up parts of the website and the turnaround time was painfully slow.

There weren't any measurable outcomes. D&Z was meant to be our marketing execution team. Unfortunately, they struggled to deliver the work at an acceptable quality level and within the timelines we were hoping for.

• D&Z created the content to update our Apple App Sore presence including graphibnc design in creating a Figma template for screenshots, copy and prevciew vidoes. 
• D&Z updsted our web page increasing perfromance scrores by 40%.

Shaurya has been very responsive, antitipating my feedback while he manages the team of creatives behind the scenes.  We have schedule quick virtual meetings when required, emails and inpromtu calls when expediency is required.  With unlimited edits we are able to try and refine until we get it right and try new things.   They act like an extedned team focussed on the next priority.

The extedned team model avoids the overhead of definong a project, searching for talent,, negotiating a contract and repeating.   Very nice to have resources available for whatever appears on the horizon.

D&Z are learning about App Store Opptimization. I was able to share my expereince in this niche area which was readily accepted and consumed allowing them to productively create content.

D&Z are my in-house dedicated marketing team for all things digital . They are exceptional project managers and have developed a streamlined engagement model that provide few feedback constantly . They are able to pivot without notice and can scal up or down instantly . They put their heart & soup into every aspect of every project . They are relentless with getting it right . 

They do their best to maintain continuity of team and skill sets and regardless of team dynamics never leave their clients hanging out to dry if resourcing is an issue . I am so happy with them that I signed on for a 2 year contract . Our workloads are demanding and we are financial about details ... so far D&Z have scaled and evolved as needed . 

I intentionally tried to break their model , to date that has not happened & at this stage I doubt it will . If you are wholly unapologetically  uncimpromizing in everything you do then Erina, Jose & Team are the only ones you should entrust your company's future to if you want to sleep soundly at night .

Updates included new graphic layouts/page designs, some body copy/text, video production, updating forms, integration with other business applications, etc. Entire site which was previously a combination of hand coded html pages and a blog maintained via Wordpress was redesigned to current Wordpress standards.
• Update and migrate current blog with over 300 articles to new server. 
• Weekly project reviews conducted with the Dingus & Zazzy Team to review project progress, recently completed work, required edits, materials required from our Team by Dingus & Zazzy to complete upcoming project phases, etc.

Project is being completed to the agreed budget within the approximate agreed up time and all work has been produced to a very high standard.

Project Management on the part of Dingus & Zazzy was carried out in a very thorough, efficient and detailed manner. My direct contacts with Dingus & Zazzy were always very quick to respond to any questions I had during the entire process. 

Weekly updates provided by their team proved to be invaluable as we worked through this project. I quickly learned that I could get a question over to my project managers, Aparajita and Luis, either via phone or email, and in most cases, I would have a response in literally minutes! Materials were produced at a high quality and completed by the deadlines set at the beginning of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dingus & Zazzy provided very high quality work at a reasonable price that was all completed within the set time frame. Customer service was beyond excellent and my support team at Dingus & Zazzy showed countless times that they are willing to take the extra step to make sure our work was completed on time and to the highest level of quality.  

Also, Dingus & Zazzy did not try to pressure me into considering the purchase of other services that I did not need. While we did have conversations regarding our company's overall marketing and advertising plan, they did not try to pressure us into buying products/services from them that would not add value to our business efforts.  

Also, a final note here... everybody I worked with came across as very humble and solely committed to our needs. I did not find with Dingus & Zazzy that stuffy and somewhat arrogant vibe you can get off of many people working in the creative arts industries. These folks are all very down to earth. 

I can't emphasize enough the professional level of service provided to our company by Dingus & Zazzy. I would highly recommend their services to any company needing quality marketing and advertising work completed at a reasonable price by a team committed to their customers' success.

I don't recall having any times during our project where I was frustrated with the process or the work completed. For me, the project in general was run smoothly and efficiently.

I’m the owner of LifeStiles Spa. I’m a working service provider there as well.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dingus & Zazzy?

Originally, I hired them to help me with my website. They also have helped me with marketing my online presence with my e-commerce store and spa website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

It was a redesign of the website. In the beginning, I was working with a designer that helped me with some of my visuals, and they helped with Squarespace, making it more flexible for me to make additions. The team also has helped me with my e-blasts and social media presence.

We did a six-month marketing plan of service specials, product specials, website changes, and updated mailing lists. They also helped me develop my online store. If I’m not happy with the way it looks, they will work with Shopify to extend some things that make it a bit more efficient, get my presence known better to my clients and social media followers.

They actually do the posting for me as well. We’re targeting Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

What is the team composition?

Jonathan (Founder & CEO) was my main point of contact. Jonathan has a team of people that he works with.

How did you come to work with Dingus & Zazzy?

It was a referral from another fellow that was working on my site changes. He had worked with Jonathan before and recommended him.

How much have you invested with them?

I pay $1,500 monthly.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Dingus & Zazzy started in March 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I know that I rank fairly high on Google without paying for Google Ads. Jonathan’s response time is excellent, and in that way, if I want to fill a slow day, I can email them and say that I need a blast done. Their response time is within a couple of hours, which has been helpful.

One of the things I love about Jonathan’s company is that he likes to charge monthly, which is very reasonable. He doesn’t make his clients sign a contract, as I have had that experience in the past, and it was slightly disastrous. Jonathan is reasonable in the sense where we have set it up, so I just pay monthly, and I can use that as much as I want or as little as I want.

In the world today, the demographics we’re working with will get on the phone to look up our phone number. That number and updated website are the most valuable things we have right now in small business, especially over the last year with opening and closing.

How did Dingus & Zazzy perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, they’re excellent. This week, a few people were out sick, and Jonathan got back to me personally. We generally communicate through email, but we have phone meetings at times.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with their experience. Jonathan has had online stores of his own, so he brings a lot of expertise to the table. He’s a young guy, but he’s had his own successes.

Jonathan is very helpful. He came and held an onsite training with my staff about social media postings. He was excellent, entertaining, and interesting. It kept 20 members of my staff very entertained for the afternoon.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. They’re a small business that’s receptive to feedback. We’ve learned to groove together, so it’s been good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They have a dynamic website that gives people an idea of what they’re able to do. I advise people to contact them and deal with them directly about their needs. They work with all different kinds of companies.
