Digitella preformed a full audit of our digital offering and came back with an in depth report It was pretty clear from the beginning that there was plenty of room for improvement and we were not capitalising on some pretty basic wins. Since implementing the suggested changes we have seen dramatic results across multiply platforms.

Our main objective when engaging with Digitellla was to fill up most/all of our surf programs for our peak season (Summer). Digitella recommended two main services to make this happen:

• properly set us up with Google Analytics
• run Social (Facebook) Ads.

The team promptly set us up with Analytics and Facebook tracking and launched our first Facebook Ads in early December. From December to mid-March, Digitella has helped us reach over 120k accounts, over 500 booked surf lessons and a return of ad spend (ROAS) of over 25x! We have seen our busiest peak season to date.

Mariana and the Digitella team have been extremely easy to communicate with. We had a couple of in-person meetings, but whenever we had any questions or needed a hand with anything, they were more than happy to jump on a quick call, and it never took longer than a couple of hours to get back to us via text or email.

The results and dealing with the team! We were stoked to see how well our campaigns performed and how smooth and easy it has been to work with the Digitella team. I'm the co-founder of The Flatpack Company and currently spend most of my time on marketing and web development projects.

We hired Digitella to help improve our digital strategy and this had direct results on our ROAS. We had an initial goal of 8x ROAS which we accomplished and we continue to make improvements on that number.

Implementing Klaviyo as our core email platform was a big initial step. We built out five automated flows and saw revenue quickly jump by approx. $20,000/month. We then introduced new social channels including YouTube & Tiktok. It's fair to say some placements worked and some didn't. Overall, we tightened the ship and reduce wasted ad spend in areas which we not performing.

Most of our communication goes through co-founder Dan who has been great. We also work closely with Ella & Frankie from the social team.

When we initially expanded into a new segment of the market, we were doing $30,000 months. We've just hit our best month of $130,000 one year on. We seen great progress.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It's been great. We implemented Slack as our primary form of communication early on and that was a game changer.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are a young and creative team who put in the work. You'd be out of luck to find an agency as creative, switched on and hungry for results as Digitella are.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Each month we had website projects we underwent to improve the speed, usability or overall optimisation of the site. There were times where these projects were timely to execute due to a limited understanding of the project itself. Digitella could look to take on some of this execution to reduce these inefficiencies when handing over the projects. Other than that, I couldn't fault their team. They really are great at what they do!

• Challenged with cleaning up a large range of technical errors, and battling with a saturation of poor quality non-relevant traffic

We went through an internal selection process. The deciding factors were: 

• a small growing business that we could relate too as a small business ourselves
• vendor was based in NZ, made working with and communicating with very easy and straightforward. 
• the team at Digitella were extremely approachable.

• Targeted PPC ads via the Google grant program, by building out the account we've been able to utilise 217% more budget and increase traffic generated by the channel by 140% (avg 350 clicks > 830) this traffic has improved DNCs visibility across a wide range of searches, allowing impact to be spread further and compete in SERPs crowded by other advertisers.
• Technical SEO cleanup and targeted content optimisation which has improved site health by 133% and reduced domain toxicity by 85%, allowing us to improve traffic quality (removing irrelevant search) and increase YoY organic traffic by 20% (although this organic jump isn't huge, it's important to remember we used to get 1000's of clicks from terms like 'NZ girls', YoY our organic bounce rate is down 14%, pages per session up 17% and time on the page up 27% - indicating more quality traffic).
• Provided a live dashboard that covers all key data points across the DNC web eco-system which has allowed the team to gain deeper insights and improve all facets of digital engagement

Some of these have been touched on in the above section. The Live Dashboard is now a embedded tool that the whole team uses to measure and review our engagement and social media channel effectiveness.

Although the campaign is yet to be formally concluded there has been a considerable increase is customer sign ups and has met and exceeded our expectations.

Their willingness to listen and understand our business and its goals. I have also been pleasantly surprised about the application of Digitellas expertise in their field. While needing minimal guidance there has always been an upwards trajectory and a willingness to continue growth, leaving us to work on other parts of the business.

In a difficulty COVID environment they have done particularly well and exceeded expectations.

We are a Software as a Service provider offering our business customers with quality address related services. I am the product manager for the service we provide but I also support the activities of the sales and support teams.

We know that we provide an amazing service which customers value however we were not good at marketing our services or telling the story of why our service should be chosen above competitors. We have strong goals around improving our SEO score in order to appear at or near the top of search engine results when keywords were searched.

We also wanted to see improvements around improving the value for money when it came to our ad spend.

We completed an interview process and asked a number of questions relating to Digitella. We wanted to know how they would complete the activities, what strategies they would employ and where they could see the largest areas for improvement. Digitella were head and shoulders above the other candidates interviewed for this role.

Very good. Daniel would often spend time working along side us in our office as this was the most effective way for him to immerse himself in our business. When outside the office he was easily accessible via slack, email or phone.

Looking at (May 2022) data, we've seen over +80% growth in online sales year on year. From a campaign perspective, direct ROAS has risen by 2-3x across platforms thanks to efficiencies in campaign management and strategy.
