The scope of work included bringing my idea and vision to life; of desigining and then (software) developing a mobile app that would revolutionize how people keep track of their personal belongoings and appointments. Then afterwards, market that idea to a targeted audience through various social and public media. This took approximately one year to develop and realize. Then it was tested with various audiences in different countries, before finally being made available 'live' to download via Google Play Store (Android version) or Apple App Store (iOS version). Other key deliverables include a dedicated homepage website, video advertisement, and maintance plan -that would monitor the app on the server, and apply bug fixes and patches as needed (for a monthly service fee).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After staying and keeping in close contact with the software team assigned to the project - we would make various changes and revisions to the product via weekly virtual meeting, emails, phone calls and texts. Throughout the process, I was given suggestions and shown their value through demonstrations and feedback from other similarly employed utility (mobile) apps. I was also granted access to both Apple and Google's app analytics web pages to monitor the app's progress and popularity, both domestically and internationally. A similar strategy was also  employed with regard to the website homepage, and various public and social media platforms, and tweaked accordingly for best results, tracking both optimization and utilization.

The project was intially contracted and onboarded by Henry, and then launched and sheparded by Mike - both of Digital Software Labs. Sam Perez was then assigned Chief Engineer and Program Manager to the project, with Keith overlooking marketing as Social Media Manager. Items were delivered on time, with very few exceptions. And any outstanding issues or concerns I had were given the highest attention and addressed expeditiously.

The only thing that really comes to mind with regard to areas of improvement, would be in setting 'milestone' marker dates with the customer.  For example, if you tell them you anticipate the next revision for a certain app platform would be out in two weeks, and in reality, is released a month later; then my suggestion would be to tell the customer (up front) that it should take probably a month. If it is released earlier, then all the better.  Other than that, eveything else is superlative!
