Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

DC designed and developed a custom e-commerce website to be used globally in different countries allowing for each region to have a unique product offering. Each country is able to input their own products to be sold directly with pricing or with a RFQ system in the backend for customer follow up. In addition, the website directs customers to the correct country via geo-location. 

DC designed the entire sitemap and the overall look and feel as well as assisted in uploading 1,000's of images and videos. The backend is custom built to our needs and syncs to various warehouses globally as well as has the option to manually input stock quantity and shipping information.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Specific launch dates were set. Each task was given a specific due date that had to be delivered on time for the overall launch of the global site. Sitemap approval Design for PC and Mobile approval and sign off Development of backend system and testing Uploading of data from our team and fixing errors Viewing the test site and servers before launch

DC assigned a project manger to oversee all daily tasks and provided weekly reports on progress. Our team kept in daily communication with their PM and they responded very quickly as well as being on calls late evenings to assist USA and EU teams. They have done an excellent job in responding to our needs and providing solutions where needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very clear on the work and keep detailed records of everything they do. They are very quick to reply and easy to work with. DC team are open to negotiations and provide us with solutions that we may not have thought of before.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Digital Creative Asia could have done differently?

There were some areas of communication between our team and theirs that needed improving in the beginning but once we had a meeting to discuss with the team lead on DC side it was quickly resolved. So far we continue to keep an open dialog daily and make sure that our requests are clear and that we provide what is needed for their team to do their job

We needed DC to provide an end-to-end solution in developing customized firmware for the Raspberry Pi, cloud database, and SmartCenter, which works with the iOS/andriod app for user checkouts and power station setups

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We seen a siginificant improvement from our original BETA platform to the new one that DC helped us create. The IoT hardware worked flawlessly with our mobile app, and all this was customizable from the backend through our Smartcenter. 

DC team was able to quickly understand our design needs and execute independently with the right solutions in order for us to launch globally. Their iterative improvement process also helped us understand what is needed from a user standpoint while making the right design changes needed.

DC team are quite responsive to our needs and able to overcome challenges as they come up. They have done a great job tracking the project progress and record details in GitHub allowing our team to quickly access if needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Digital Creative Asia has an outstanding pool of talented developers. Sam and Raf has been very hands on with providing us the technical solutions to solve issues whenever they come up along with their rest of the team. They've been able to at times quickly research the issue and come up with creative solutions during problem solving which I appreciate.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Digital Creative Asia could have done differently?

I think as DC grows, the team is getting much more organized with the task budgets and time management. We continue to look forward to working with them as our system continues to expand

I'm the CEO of a global tech startup providing KYC and AML services.

We needed to create a new web application for the onboarding process for our KYC and AML services, including biometrics and other computer vision detection features. A key requirement was an agency that had a proven background in building scalable and maintainable code so that we could work with them towards a successful handover.

The speed and overall performance of our new platform is amazing. Many of our customers have given feedback on how much easier and faster our new tools are.

We were in constant communication with Digital Creative, they used Jira to manage all the tasks in a clear and transparent way.

We've worked with a lot of agencies in the past and it's very rare to find a team that delivers such high quality work across UX, UI and software development. They've taken ownership and responsibility of the project to help us pivot and improve on what we're building.
