I’m the corporate culture manager for a financial services company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digipulse Video Production?

We were challenged with creating engaging content for employees. We were trying to expand our communication channels beyond email and internet posts. We wanted to find new visual avenues to better communicate with our employees.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digipulse provides video-related services on several different projects. Their team shoots, directs, and edits videos. The videos are designed by committee, which means their team takes feedback from multiple stakeholders and incorporates those perspectives into the overall vision.

We posted a few videos on our company YouTube page but the vast majority are for internal communications. Most videos were posted on our employee internet.

They've created a wide range of content including office tours and executive video updates. Their team also filmed interviews, employee game shows, and live casts of company meetings.

Last year, we launched a new website. Digipulse created a video that welcomed people to the new platform. Right now, we’re working on three different videos.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people when we first brought them on board. We worked with the owner who worked with a director or producer who did all of the camera and lighting work.

How did you come to work with Digipulse Video Production?

A colleague used their services for drone-style office tour videos and recommended them. I took their recommendation and Googled Digipulse. I met up with their team and went through an RFP process. Ultimately, we decided to go with them based on their expertise, pricing, and availability. We wanted a local agency as well.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started with them in 2017 and the relationship’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Video transformed the way that we communicate with our employees. Digipulse helped us to craft thoughtful, interesting content that balances our business with the people who run the business.

They were good at being able to translate multiple types of direction from multiple people into a coherent message, which was huge. Their team creates videos that work for everyone and stay true to their own aesthetic.

How did Digipulse Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

Digipulse is consistently great with communications. Their team covers all of their bases. They give realistic timelines throughout production. They’re a trustworthy source for meeting deadlines and communicating challenges.

Many projects we do flying by the seat of our pants, but it works for us. Their team is flexible and has tight turnaround times. They fill in the gaps where it’s needed. They consistently bring new ideas to the table and share new technology with us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team serves as a strategic partner with us on how to best communicate with employees. They understand corporate-speak and can translate people’s feedback into real-life changes to the video. Their team’s constantly partnering with agencies in our different office locations to film for us. It's been incredible to work with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they had a bigger network but I also like that they’re small. I’m hoping that they’ll be able to grow. That way, they can handle all of their business while keeping tight turn-around times.

Work with Clive (Owner & Producer). He’s fantastic and my go-to guy.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm co-founder of Economos DeWolf, a commercial real estate company. We are the #1 seller of office buildings in Orange County and the Inland Empire.

For what projects/services did your company hire Digipulse Video Production?

We first engaged Digipulse to produce a marketing video for a large (+$30 million) listing we were selling. We were so impressed that we then hired them to produced a new brand spot about our company. We've since engaged them to produce over 20 more property videos.

What were your goals for this project?

To both professionally and creatively portray our various listings to maximize value for our clients.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I viewed a video Digipulse had previously prepared for a friendly competitor of ours.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

The process is actually quite simple. During a tour, I explain the property features and highlights I'd like to portray in the video, and then Digipulse captures that.

I review the first cut and write captions to describe the scenes. Digipulse then adds the captions in attractive graphics.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Again, very simple. Phone calls, texts, and/or emails at convenient times for me.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have very satisfied clients who appreciate the fact we are producing compelling videos to help sell their office buildings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. Digipulse makes themselves available to keep our projects moving.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have the perfect blend of both personal (hands-on, easy-to-work-with) and professional (impressive videos).

Are there any areas for improvement?

No. Again we've been very pleased, which is evident by the nearly 25 video we've had them produce.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the marketing director for the Goodwill of Orange County. We're a nonprofit that uses thrift stores to sell donated merchandise in order to raise money for our programs. Our mission is that we help people with barriers to employment find and get jobs so they can work to their highest levels of independence.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digipulse Video Production?

We needed help on a number of projects, ranging from interior collateral pieces, public-facing commercials, to full-scale commercial shoots.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Each of our projects were very collaborative. I had some ideas, and we worked together on fleshing them out. Some of those things I worked on wouldn't be particularly easy to shoot or not in my budget to shoot so we worked together to reimagine those concepts in a way that made sense and fit within our budget.

The commercials were all a bit more than a minute long and required location shooting at our store and at our warehouse. We did a second commercial that we actually filmed at my house so we could save money. They also worked on six-minute gala videos for us to illustrate how much impact our programs have.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 3-5 members from their team.

How did you come to work with Digipulse Video Production?

They were a referral from a colleague. They had a great price, a fantastic product, and were very cool. I really liked their vibe. 

How much have you invested with them?  

We've invested approximately $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in January 2017 and wrapped up in November 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everyone on our staff had nothing but nice things to say about them. They're very professional, kind, and helped people that were struggling with feeling comfortable in front of the camera.

How did Digipulse Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great. From the get-go, we would sit down, conceptualize, and they would come back with a plan with dates. There was always constant communication and they were very timely, and professional. All around, they were great partners. We met in person, through phone, and via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a great vibe and they’re tuned into what is going on in the world. They always pay attention to what people are doing to bring something new and innovative to the project. They're very much team players. They were diligent to bring our ideas together to come up with the best ideas possible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don't have any complaints. They're the first people I would call for video production.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to just be honest. We had a very open and honest relationship and it worked out great.

I'm the director of public relations and communications for RadNet Management. We're the largest outpatient medical imaging company in the United States.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digipulse Video Production?

We needed some help with video production for our marketing efforts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created marketing videos for us, including commercials and corporate videos. They were all live-action, one was three minutes, a couple were very short sizzle-type videos. We did the scripting in-house, but they did the shoot list and post-production.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three members of their team.

How did you come to work with Digipulse Video Production?

They had prior experience with our company, so I introduced myself and began working from there.

How much have you invested with them?  

We've invested approximately $75,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together since January 2014, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Digipulse helped introduce our company into the digital age. We've been able to do some things in-house now, but any large projects will still go through Digipulse. We've garnered over two million dollars in earned media thanks to these videos, and I attribute it to the look and feel of their work. 

We've developed a personal relationship, and their attention to detail has been wonderful. Each person on their team has something really awesome they've offered to Radnet, and their personalities have clicked with everyone here. It's made working with them really easy. As you can imagine, asking to videotape cancer patients and ill people is challenging, so we feel very lucky to have found Digipulse.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I've become a personal friend of their proprietor. They've gone above and beyond and worked with our budget. With a lot of companies, what you see is what you get, but Digipulse goes the extra mile for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don't think so. I believe their prices are higher than a lot of other firms, but you truly get what you pay for. Their quality is second to none. Working with people who understand you when you understand them has a value.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to get to know the people that you're going to work with and get to know who they are. It's not just a "one and done deal". When someone does such a good job as Digipulse, you'll want to keep using them.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a broker on the capital markets team for a company that specializes in selling institutional office buildings up and down the West Coast. I personally sit in Orange County.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digipulse Video Production?

They handle all of our drone videos, some aerial photography, and some still photography. We’ve been partnered with them for 4–5 years, dating back to when we were still with our previous company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve done work for us in Orange County, Los Angeles, and even Pheonix. He shoots the raw drone footages, puts music to it, layers in text, and edits the video or still. After he completes everything for us, we put the finished product in our materials to connect with our clients. 

At times, he’s limited to the shots he can take with the drone. Of course, his work is weather-dependant. However, because of the nearby airport, there are some areas that he can’t fly. In those cases, he comes up with other creative ways to get the footage we need. He deals with all of the logistics.

What is the team composition?

Clive (Owner, Digipulse Video Production) is my main point of contact at their company. I know he has a large team working in the background, though. 

How did you come to work with Digipulse Video Production?

It’s been so long that I can’t be sure where we first heard of him. It’s likely that we were introduced through a mutual contact who worked with me at another company.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started collaborating at the beginning of 2015, and our engagement is ongoing. If we’re selling a building and need aerial shots, Clive is one of our first calls.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

His footage is always top-notch, and the other effects that he layers in are always great. Clive is super responsive. We can call him at any time, and he’ll respond. He’s a perfect fit for the way our team works. 

How did Digipulse Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

I assume Clive works with a large team because of the level of responsiveness and quality we recieve from their company. He can’t possibly be doing it on his own. However, he communicates directly with all of us. Understanding our deadlines, he gets back to us quickly. He understands that these projects should be a big priority. We communicate through both phone and email.   

What did you find most impressive about them?

We clearly understand our expectations for each other. At this point, because of the work quality and long-lasting relationship, we wouldn’t look anywhere else for a partner. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. We can tell that he’s grown his team recently, given all of the projects he can handle. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

He’s a personal guy and is great at what he does. I’d recommend them to anybody.
