I was working as Management lead for the company and project was executed directly under my supervision. Company is managing many hostels for girls with over 1000 girls all across the region.

What were your goals for this project?

We will be using this project across all our hostels and will also sell it to other similar residency’s.

We read an article about Diginix winning government awards for police software in newspaper and contacted them for this project.

There were 10 people deployed from Diginix Ai over time during project execution.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As soon as we send the link to our hostels and students, they downloaded the application and we have been using it successfully. Most of our manual hassle are finished and everything is one online with proper analytical reports aswel.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It waa seemless. Diginix follow good process.

We were impressed with the quality of the product they produced and their on-time delivery.

We needed someone to develop our mobile apps.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Diginix-AI developed mobile applications from scratch. One app allows for booking a seat and ordering food. I’m adding a link for e-commerce purposes.

I’m also launching a book, and I’m using Planet Vibe to sell the book. They’re waiting to get with my local bank in order to create the gateway to enable online payment locally.  

My plan is to scale across Africa, and that’s something they’re also interested in. If I decide to do it, they were ready to help on this venture with me.

What is the team composition?

I actively interact with the two founders of the company. Sometimes I interact with the technicians.

We’re part of the Hult Business School entrepreneurship group. They had a good reputation at the school, and that gave me a lot of confidence. I felt comfortable with them because we have the same culture. It’s easier to fix any problem because we’re coming from the same background. They also had a good portfolio and expertise.

We’ve spent between $10,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2019, and the work is ongoing.

I have no reason to complain. We do a performance evaluation. Each phase of the project is validated by me, and they deliver what we agreed upon. My app is well received. There are many people who have liked it. I’m happy with what they’ve done so far.

What challenge were you trying to address with Diginix AI IT Solutions Dubai?

We needed someone to develop an HR management system. Our team wanted to transform things into a digital database so we could manage all our reports.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Diginix-AI conducted research for us. The nature of the project was to manage HR information very closely with the help of mobile applications and a web dashboard. In our department, 40–45% of people aren’t really familiar with the mobile application interface. The most challenging objective was to develop a system that was user-friendly.

The Diginix-AI team built everything from scratch. We were using a register system before but then moved to the digital record and database management system. They used PHP and MySQL for the backend. To handle the big data, they used MongoDB and other applications. There were different database technologies used.

What is the team composition?

There were over 30 developers assigned to work closely on different aspects of the applications.

They were a recommendation from a friend. I talked to them, and we started working together. I was confident they’d be able to help us.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement lasted from May 2018–August 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They successfully developed a user-friendly mobile app and web dashboard. The feedback about the code was pretty awesome and the solutions were was easily accepted. Our internal team was satisfied with their work.

It was easier for us to correspond with them because their team communicated with us in our native language. That was the biggest challenge I was formerly afraid of. They have a dynamic team of developers and continued to provide support even after the development.

How did Diginix AI IT Solutions Dubai perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was very professional and able to work closely with us. They’re good at speaking Hindi so the communication was seamless. Everything was properly documented.

We worked in milestones. Initially, it was very difficult to decide what our milestones would be. We had weekly meetings where we discussed progress and project status. They completed the project ahead of time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their cost-beneficial rates and quick turnaround time were their best traits.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When we first started the project, we didn’t assess the timeline so that was a concern I kept asking them about. They came up with a Gantt chart and made it very definitive so I could report it to my upline officers. That was a suggestion I gave them, and they implemented it.

Make sure to keep up with their pace of work and maintain the quality of the service they provide.

Their team is very responsive and results-oriented. They work systematically and follow best coding practices. We're happy with the quality of work they consistently have delivered so far.

It's hard to pick anything specific. Working with them was a good experience — they delivered on their promises and were always there whenever we needed help.

They should assign a project lead who can handle the resources well.

I sent the request for the quotation and visited the branch office in India. Diginix allocated the project team and discussed the requirements in detail.

After the finalization of the project, they requested the purchase order followed by the pro forma invoice. They submitted the draft design of the platform within the first week. Once the final design was approved by us, they started the development and finished the first phase in 4 months. Similarly, phase 2 and 3 were executed.

There were team of 20 designers and developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

They submitted the baseline schedule with the quotation. All the milestones were completed as per the baseline schedule.

Very effective. Everything was completed as requested. Slack channels were set up for effective and faster means of communication. Diginix's team was very effective in giving timely replies to all our queries.
