I’m a freelance project manager at Plaza Hollandi, a retail flower and plant shop.

What challenge were you trying to address with DGTLbase?

I needed help with copywriting, SEO, and web design for our shop.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DGTLbase helped us develop a completely new website from scratch using WordPress, WooCommerce, and other plugins; they did the content, copywriting, SEO, and web design. When they merged their company with another, they included marketing automation and different parts of digital presence.

In addition, we do blog posting with them.

What is the team composition?

We started working with 5–6 members of their team, including a project lead, a digital specialist, a design specialist, a copywriter, and an SEO specialist.

I reached out to them on LinkedIn because one of their employees was a former colleague of mine.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I'm satisfied with their work; they're very involved and answer all the questions we have for them. I also like how they include the project's structure because it helps with the process. Results-wise, since we launched the site, we've increased website sales by around 25–30%.

How did DGTLbase perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is good. We can tell when they are busy and have less focus, but we call it to their attention, and they fix it immediately. Usually, we have strict deadlines for short periods, and when they're focused well, they succeed at everything. Regarding tools, we use Trello, email, and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're very good at seeing new business; there are a lot of opportunities because it's a new website, so they help us find a way to increase our sales.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should spread out the workload that they have and prioritize what has the highest importance first.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Keep them sharp; when they're sharp, they deliver very well.
