Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We have collaborated with the Deyo Group for many years. Our initial project together was the development of our company website. The primary objective was to deliver real-time, online inventory data to our customers by extracting information from our existing accounting system's backend database. This allowed us to provide our online users with unprecedented access to our inventory. 

The project is ongoing, and we consistently update the website's appearance and functionality, while introducing new tools and services to enhance the experience for our customers. The second major project has been the development of our mobile application for both iOS and Android devices. 

The objective here was to provide our users and employees with a mobile-friendly interface designed specifically for mobile devices, while leveraging the power of these devices. This included using the camera to scan barcodes and provide instant feedback about inventory availability, as well as text messaging services to share photos and inventory data with customers. This project is also ongoing, with many additional tools yet to be implemented.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Greatly improved inventory access, which is key to our business. Provided multiple avenues for our employees and customers to access production information, availability, sizes, quantities, and location details very easily. The ongoing development and refinement of our website and mobile app have helped us remain on the cutting edge of technology.

They have a dedicated project manager who provides us with frequent progress updates and implementation timelines. Additionally, we hold regular video meetings to discuss project details, address concerns, review changes, and consider user feedback. While they typically deliver project developments on time, they demonstrate honesty when faced with issues or setbacks. 

In some cases, they have even augmented their team with additional personnel to expedite delivery, without any additional cost to us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They consistently demonstrate fairness in their development costs and whenever we express dissatisfaction, they address our concerns and work towards a resolution quickly. Also, they've proactively introduced new technologies to enhance our website and mobile app, helping to improve the user experience.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Deyo Group, Inc. could have done differently?

Honestly, the overall experience with the Deyo Group has been very good. Like any business, things don't always go as planned, but when there is an issue, they are honest about it and do their best to resolve it as quickly as possible. We cannot ask for much more than that.

We needed to move our old website and all the historical data, from WooCommerce over to Shopify and at the same time upgrade the look and feel, before our busy season in November.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website looked great and was up and running by September 1st, giving us plenty of time to work through any processes before Black Friday in November. We were happy, the leadership team was happy and our customers were...mostly happy. Change is difficult for most people but Deyo Group helped us navigate through a very big website move.

Project management and customer service were on point. We were made aware of anything that might delay the launch and could decide what was required and what could wait for launch as a team.
