Together with Devolfs we set a project deadline around one month from signing the contract.

Hexagon Startup design is our product intended for female entrepreneurs, I am the founder and CEO of both companies.

We hired them for these two services. the goal of our cooperation was to make a high-quality coat in the optimal time frame. Our platform started working on March 8 and we are very satisfied with the product.

I know the team from before - from their beginnings. I know that these are very hardworking and hardworking guys, who have been showing results since high school. In addition, I know the quality of the projects they worked on before with their employers. That's how I chose them.

The project was very organized. First, they had a series of meetings with me and the team to spell out all the requirements for the project. I really like that we didn't have big changes in the project itself, they understood our needs very well. The team was very accommodating and open to communication and suggestions, yet they kept their professional boundaries and professional attitude. First they completed UX/UI design, and then in the assigned work and product development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are currently preparing all the materials and the platform has not yet been released to the public. I can express the great satisfaction of myself and my team with the product, as well as over 20 people who will be used as mentors and educators.

From the first to the last day, a very professional team.They respected every agreement and did not change their positions and offers. We used Slack and Google Meet for communication. Also WApp if there was an urgent question from our side or theirs (which was rare)

I would say that it is their youth and very pronounced professionalism. The quality and design of the delivered product were awe-inspiring.

We had a small change (at our request) at the end of the product itself, they were very accommodating and very quickly we added another item to the project itself. The product works well, so we had no major subsequent requests.

I’m the CEO of Plutus, a digital product development agency. We create digital products such as online platforms, marketing websites, and mobile apps and focus mainly on consumer platforms.

For instance, we currently have a project around redeveloping an investment platform that offers the opportunity to invest in collectibles. Additionally, we have our own cloud product, which provides a German-European cloud alternative for Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and other American providers. It’s a digital collaboration tool that offers email, chats, meetings, and a calendar for a complete digital workspace.

We needed to outsource product design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve worked on several projects with Devolfs; they’re our leading product design team. Although it’s not necessary for every project, they define the user persona for the product. They also work on user flow planning, which helps shape the solution. As we build out the user flow, we manage to get an understanding of what we’ll build. Then, we work closely together, and Devolfs is a massive part of the product development side.

They mainly use Figma for the design and prototypes. Currently, they’re expanding their expertise into more project development tools.

Additionally, Devolfs has worked on the logo and stationery design for products. They’ve built the brand identity for some projects, but it’s considered an extra service.

What is the team composition?

We’ve mainly worked with Leonardo and Novica (Co-Founders). Leo is the UX/UI design specialist, and Novica focuses on marketing and brand identity. Sometimes they involve additional people, but we’re not in contact with them.

How did you come to work with Devolfs?

I initially started working directly with Leo in 2020. I approached him for a last-minute project that I needed to finish urgently. One of my employees prepared a list of potential UX/UI designers, and I sent them emails. Leo was the only one that responded, and he pulled it off with great time and quality. From that day on, we’ve been married to Devolfs for everything regarding design.

In total, we’ve spent over $50,000.

We started working with them in February 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re a main part of our core offering; Devolfs has made almost every project and product we have. We wouldn’t have such great product quality and design if it weren’t for them. Our customers and we are always satisfied at the end, and Devolfs always delivers excellent results. Overall, we can blindly give them a project and know it’ll be good if we communicate and give them the correct requirements.

How did Devolfs perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication is excellent; they’re always very open. If something comes late, they communicate so we know how to deal with the situation. Overall, we’re happy with how they’ve structured communication and project management.

We mainly use Asana and Slack as tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They go out of their way. Even when the requirements are 100% complete, they always make sure they think through the end. Besides building nice-looking interfaces, Devolfs goes the extra mile to ensure the logic and product make sense. In addition, we don’t need to tell them every detail; they’re capable of making those decisions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing with a negative emphasis is their project management. For most projects, 75% of the tasks are delivered on time. We always go with the worst-case scenario and give our clients a later deadline, so it hasn’t posed a threat. Although it’s human that they don’t get 100% rates, it’d be good if they worked on it.

Go for it. They’re a great partner for design projects, especially for marketing and online platforms. Devolfs is incredible from cost and expertise perspectives.
