Devire runs several recruitment processes with us every year according to what we're looking for, including account managers and procurement officers with basic English and Excel skills. Regarding the procedure, we write the job description, and they screen candidates based on our new recruitment projects and the information we provide to them. Their consultant also talks to our manager to understand expectations and sends candidates proposals we can meet and select.

We've worked with about seven consultants, senior team leaders, and senior recruitment consultants from their crew.

They were already working with us when I took my current position.

In terms of the process, they map the external market, contact all available candidates, and source them for our company. Their team focuses on finding the right profiles, doing interviews, and sending us the right candidates suited to our company.

I only work with the sciences department team leader from Devire's team.

Someone referred them to us.

Devire's team is great at what they do and always finds the right candidates for our company. Furthermore, the new employees integrate well and fast into the company, as Devire always finds people who match our culture.

Devire is amazing with project management; they communicate regularly and give us constant updates. In terms of tools, we use email and phone calls.

Their excellent communication and listening skills are the best attributes of their work.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — the collaboration is amazing.

Based on the job description we gave, they made recommendations and sent us the CVs of potential candidates. We then scheduled another meeting. In terms of our specific role requirements, we were looking for engineers and a business development manager with experience in the medical device industry.

Everything was done successfully. We had the resources we needed — Devire filled three vacancies, and the candidates were onboarded well. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

We had good support and contact during the process. I was always aware of how many candidates were there and if our salary proposition aligned with market expectations. Moreover, we received great reports during the entire recruitment process. 

Each of the candidates they recommended had a great CV. Meanwhile, the Devire team gave us great summaries of the key advantages and disadvantages of each candidate. We had a lot of phone conversations around this.

They met all of our requirements.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devire?

We were looking to hire two people for our accounting department for six months, so we hired Devire to help us find candidates who would agree with that condition.

SOLUTION

What is the scope of their involvement?

Devire has helped us with our recruitment needs. For our most recent project, we tasked them to help us find a junior accounting specialist and a regular accounting specialist for a six-month engagement. Initially, we provided them with detailed job descriptions, after which they searched for the candidates.

After Devire’s screening process and interviews, we received the final candidates. Now, our accounting and HR departments are in charge of the final interviews before hiring the resources.

I work with two people from Devire: a customer success manager and a recruiter.

Devire offered similar services to us in the past. Due to our positive past experience, we contacted them again for this project.

We measure the success of our engagement with Devire with the quality of the candidates they give us. The first candidate they found joined us in November 2022 and integrated well into our company. The next candidate should join us in the middle of January 2023.

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

Devire responds quickly to our questions, and they’re very responsive to our requests, constantly asking for feedback. Per our request, Devire sends us weekly progress reports.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The fact that Devire decided to work with us on this project was great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One time, one of the candidates didn’t match our expectations, so they took our feedback and changed the situation.

Any advice for potential customers?

The best approach is to provide them with a lot of information upfront. The more information they receive, the better their research will go and the project will flow.

I'm a manager at Terumo Aortic, a healthcare company focused on treating the aorta.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devire?

We needed help with staff augmentation services. We were seeking people with experience in sales in the medical device business and good skills to develop in the clinical field. Still, it wasn't easy to find people in other specializations to be able to convert them to our vascular areas.

Devire has been providing staff augmentation services based on our job descriptions. They've started by asking questions to understand our needs and the kind of candidate we're looking for. Moreover, their team has been precise and detailed in understanding what I needed before taking action.

Every candidate they've proposed has met at least partially the criteria, as it takes much work to find someone ideal. Furthermore, after each interview, we discuss how one or the other candidate meets my expectations. 

Currently, we've found someone that seems like a good candidate, and we're in the process of signing the contract with the new potential employee.

Their communication is easy and continuous, so I don't have to wait for them to reach out to me. Moreover, Devire's team is always proactive in asking me questions to ensure they meet my needs.

I don't think they can improve anything because the collaboration has been amazing.

Describe your needs as precisely as possible, as this helps Devire find a perfect candidate. Additionally, invest time with the agent to ensure that you understand each other.

Devire has performed well in terms of project management. They’re quick to send important details about the candidates and raise issues concerning our employees.

We’re impressed with the detailed reports and valuable insights that Devire provides us, which helps us further understand the IT market and its trends and predictions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they could provide us with reports about the employees on their salary and overtime work regularly and not by request.

I am a senior IT recruiter for a logistics company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devire?

We hired them to help us with recruitment. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Devire was responsible for filling several roles on our software engineering team and a few leadership positions; we provided the candidate requirements. We had a close relationship with our hiring manager, who was responsible for the whole recruitment process, sourcing, presenting recommendations, interviews, offer negotiations, and hiring. 

I believe they used LinkedIn and several other sources during their recruitment process, but our team wasn’t involved in that part of the process. We only handled the onboarding process. 

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact was the recruiter, who was the project leader. However, I also interacted with another recruiter and a researcher.

How did you come to work with Devire?

My manager asked me to find a vendor to help us with recruitment — I found Devire through a Google search. After we connected, I realized I’d worked with the teammate who’d responded to my query at a previous job. 

How much have you invested with them?

I can’t share the specifics of this information, but our investment depended on the number of candidates we hired; we also paid Devire a percentage of those hires’ annual salaries. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership with Devire was from April 2021–July 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Devire hired 35–36 candidates for us. We had to build several teams in a very short period of time, and their support in this process was great. We were in a narrow market, so it could be difficult to find resources, but Devire did an amazing job finding qualified candidates. 

There was only one occasion where we had to terminate an employee’s contract after the probationary period because they weren’t well matched to our company. Overall, it was a great partnership.

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

I worked directly with Devire’s team — they were always open to discussions and improvement suggestions. They communicated well and delivered on time; we used Microsoft Teams. They adapted quickly to changing or new requirements, doing their best to match them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication and responsiveness were impressive. Also, the quality of the candidates and how Devire negotiated and related with them was outstanding. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had to make some changes in our technical processes so they could focus on their search, but that helped make everything work better, even from our side.

I’m a senior HR professional at an electronics manufacturer.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devire?

We opened a new position on our medical team with a very narrow specialization, so we needed to find candidates with specialized competencies that would be a good match for the position.

We didn’t have a database of candidates or resources to reach candidates that were not actively looking for a job. So, we decided to involve Devire, specifically their division specializing in medical device production staff recruitment.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

At the start of each recruitment process, I provide a detailed description of the job; we are looking for a candidate with very narrow specializations and experience working with ophthalmology devices. Devire then uses their candidate database and a dedicated recruitment team to identify qualified candidates. 

After finding appropriate candidates, Devire’s team sends us the profile and description of each candidate based on the initial interviews they carried out. We then decide whether or not the candidate meets our expectations. Based on that decision, we then decide whether or not to invite the candidate to interview with our in-house team. 

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with two teammates. I started with one teammate who later left the company, but Devire assigned a second teammate to our project. 

How did you come to work with Devire?

They contacted me at first; we’d worked with them on another project, but we decided to hire them for this project because of their experience in the medical device field. 

How much have you invested with them?

We will only be charged after we hire a candidate — our investment will depend on the annual salary of the candidate we hire. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing collaboration started in early July 2022.

We have exacting requirements, and few candidates can meet the competency and experience standards we set. However, Devire has been able to identify candidates that are a good match for our requirements, and we’ve invited those candidates to continue the hiring process with our in-house team. We’ve extended one offer, which was rejected, so the recruitment process is still ongoing. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

Devire has been able to identify candidates quickly, meeting our deadlines and project schedule. They respond quickly to us — we communicate daily through email and phone calls. Their team communicates effectively. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a high level of work specialization — they’re very professional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t identify any areas for them to improve.

I would recommend working with them, especially if you’re looking to fill positions for a team working on medical devices.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re building a tech platform and have opened up operations in Poland. Devire recruits staff members for us and stands in as the employer of record for those staff members. We send them the job descriptions of the candidates we need, and they handle the start of the recruitment process. 

The team posts job ads on relevant web pages and places. A lot of the positions advertised are entry-level ones, where little technical expertise is required. Devire contacts candidates and asks them if they’re interested in the roles. They handle pre-screening and have a conversation with the candidate.

Their resources ensure that the candidates are eligible for the role and that they have the language and technical skills required for the job. Then, they send over the good candidates to us. Apart from that, Devire has helped me schedule interviews to ensure the process is as smooth and practical as possible.

We searched on the internet and spoke with a few teams. Devire was the most competitive one we could find in terms of pricing and conditions.

Our investment has been around $50,000–$200,000.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re quite happy and satisfied with Devire. They’ve done a good job sending over good personnel and candidates. Sometimes, it’s not easy to decide between the candidates since they all seem great. In that sense, we’ve had a truly positive hiring experience. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is perfect. They submit all tasks on time and are responsible. The team delivers what we want. To manage the project, we use HRnest. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are good at searching for the perfect candidates for our needs. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. Everything has been quite nice for us so far.

You should use Devire’s skills to the maximum because they do great work.

What challenges were you trying to address with Devire?

I was personally leading three recruitment projects on a managerial level for the product owner role.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially provided Devire with a job description. We also had a session to discuss the role in detail. Afterward, they had to adjust the requirements before beginning the search process.

They’re responsible for searching and recommending candidates for the final phases. We then interview them and decide who’ll be hired. For these kinds of projects, we usually agree that the agency will provide the candidates for 4–6 weeks. For one of the projects, we had the final candidate until October.

What was the team composition?

I’m not sure how many people are involved; we’re in direct contact with one teammate.

How did you come to work with Devire?

They’d worked with the company with other recruitment teams. I was looking for a trustworthy advisor, and I knew they were well-positioned in the market. I decided to turn to them and arrange a first meeting.

Unlike other meetings with other service providers, Devire gave me precise answers to all of my questions. Since the first meeting, they provided feasible examples of their previous experiences finding candidates in the area, so they were the best choice for this project.

How much have you invested in them?

I can’t give the precise number, but we’re working based on 16% of the yearly income of the final candidate.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in May 2022 and finished one project in October 2022. The second one is still ongoing.

I’m very pleased with their work in general. Other agencies find candidates just to fill up numbers; even if they aren’t fit for the profile we’re looking for. However, that’s never happened with Devire.

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

We had an initial long meeting to get to know each other. We’ve continued our communication via email and occasional phone calls. Moreover, it’s always comforting to hear from the project manager. We also use Microsoft Teams to organize.

What did you find most impressive about them?

These profiles are hard to find, so they’re experts in their field. Even though the project didn’t go as quickly as we initially expected, we trusted their work. We’ve worked with other agencies that didn’t have any results, so Devire has performed better.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They probably could share more about the project’s progress. We encountered a couple of issues at the beginning; I wasn’t sure about the quality of the interviews because I wasn’t receiving a full report about the candidates. However, once I made some comments about it, they improved the quality of the materials they presented to us.
