What challenge were you trying to address with Devire?

We had some challenges with the recruitment processes, and our up-to-date companies weren’t delivering on their promises. We were looking for a new recruitment agency who could support us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Devire provides us with recruitment services. We hold briefings with our line manager and their consultants to describe the company, the culture, the challenges, and the job description. They ask questions to understand the company and job offer better. Then, we give the descriptions to Devire, and they handle the recruitment, screening, and selection processes. From there, they send us selected candidate profiles. 

They sent us five profiles for the first position we requested, and we hired one candidate. For the second position, they gave us six profiles, and we hired one candidate. Now, they’re running a third recruitment project, and they’ve provided four profiles so far.  

How did you come to work with Devire?

We had tried a few other companies and decided to try a new one. Three companies were on our radar, and after meeting with them, Devire made the greatest impression on us because of their energy and market insight. They provided a lot of information the other companies didn’t and had in-depth knowledge of the local talent market.

We started working together in April 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Devire provides valuable opinions and produces very good reports. One of the resources we've hired through them is a manager whose profile is one of the best we've received in recent years. This resource is a very mature manager with a great people approach — it's a perfect match. 

The other resource they've recruited for us has expertise at a senior level in a technology we'd struggled to find candidates for. We had searched for months, and Devire finally found us a good candidate. Overall, we're very satisfied with their recruitment services.

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

They're responsive and set up realistic timelines that they meet. Additionally, the team is very dynamic, quick to respond, and proactive. If I'm busy when they call, they'll contact me again to get a response.

We communicate in person and through email and phone calls. They provide quarterly reports that give me a fresh perspective on what's happening in the market.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Devire's market knowledge and insight are among the best in the local market; their reports on the situation and trends are very good. Therefore, they give our HR team good benchmarks based on what's available and the current salary in the market.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there's nothing they need to improve; they're top of the top compared to other agencies. They should continue their quality of work.

I’m a manager at a consulting company. We advise our clients to do business in more strategic ways.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devire?

We hired them to help us search for the right candidates for our non-business-related positions, such as HR operations, finance, and marketing resources.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we wrote the job descriptions in-house, and Devire was responsible for announcing the job openings and screening the candidates, including round-zero interviews. From there, they recommended the candidates that were best suited for each position. Then, we hired the employees directly. 

Throughout the past 5–6 years, the nature of our engagement has changed, and currently, Devire also hires employees on our behalf, including resources we find ourselves. They use an HR platform. 

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is the executive manager. I’ve also collaborated with their IT and business outsourcing manager.

How did you come to work with Devire?

They approached us, and we chose to work with Devire because of two deciding factors. The first factor was my positive collaboration with the manager who approached me. Secondly, we appreciated their ability to provide a complex end-to-end service and hire employees on our behalf.

We started working together around December 2017, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Devire is open and client-oriented, and they adapt the entire collaboration to our needs. On several occasions, they’ve been able to adapt to our benefits system; whenever we implement something for our in-house employees, they apply it to our outsourced employees. 

We’re a demanding client with a very high-paced work environment, so we needed employees who could work in a stressful environment to the highest standard. Devire was always able to adjust to our needs. I trust them to handle everything well and perform outsourced HR-related tasks to the highest standards.

Additionally, we like that we’ve had the same point of contact over the years; he’s able to adapt to my needs and requests. Our relationship is special because he knows my communication style and needs. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always on time and implement the solutions we need. We mostly communicate over email and phone calls, though we meet in person about twice a year. With Devire, we only pay for the services that are delivered.

Moreover, the HR platform they use is intuitive and straightforward, so it doesn’t require extra effort on my behalf. Everything in our engagement is quite easy and approachable.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with how Devire fulfills all my expectations. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could implement certain solutions to their HR processes, such as a cafeteria for the outsourced employees. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The key to success when working with Devire is having one of their wonderful points of contact. They’re approachable and focused on the client’s needs — their attitude is the key to success.

I'm an IT HR Business Partner at Grupa Pracuj, an HR technologies company. We develop solutions for clients who want to find candidates and for candidates who are looking for new jobs.

What is the scope of their involvement?

Devire has been providing IT staff augmentation services. They've been involved throughout the recruitment process and are in contact with our IT managers to ask them about the duties and responsibilities of the candidates we require.

They focus on finding the perfect match for us, meet and talk with candidates, and try to check some of their skills. Moreover, they come up with specific questions from our managers that they ask the candidates through organized meetings with our managers and the candidates in the final stage.

How did you come to work with Devire?

We had prior experiences working with them, so we decided to involve them in this project.

So far, we've spent around $100,000 with them.

We started working together in December 2016, and the engagement is still ongoing.

The project was a success, and the candidate that Devire provided will start to work with us soon.

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

Devire performed well in terms of project management. They were quick to respond to changes and always attentive to all of our needs. The project took longer than expected because of our internal structure and because our stakeholders were involved in the process. Still, I’m sure the entire process would have been much quicker if we didn’t have such a complicated internal structure.

We typically communicated through emails and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with Devire’s excellent communication and flexibility. Whenever we told them that we were not satisfied with a candidate, they didn’t hesitate to continue their search.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we have no complaints. There were issues, such as candidates now showing up for their interviews, but that’s not entirely Devire’s fault.

For this specific project, we asked Devire to help us find a marketing coordinator for the automotive market. I initially provided Devire with a job description, after which we discussed the qualities that were most important to us in a candidate. They then started their search for candidates. Devire provided us with five suitable candidates for the position.

Devire has managed to find the right person for us every single time we’ve worked with them, so we can definitely say that our collaboration has been successful so far. They are flexible and able to overcome extremely difficult tasks.

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

Devire has performed well in terms of project management. We usually give them a deadline of around three months per candidate, but we’ve since changed that to be dependent on the position we’re looking for. They usually deliver within deadlines.

We’re most impressed with Devire’s flexibility, attention to detail, and customer-centric approach. We also appreciate how they’re able to pull resources from any of their branches across the country to fulfill our specific needs.

Regarding the process, we send them the job description we want to match, along with information about the team and projects. Based on that, they find matching candidates so we can start to train them.

The new employees Devire helped us hire are very good — the quality of those new teammates is as expected. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

We have various meeting frequencies, but we generally have weekly meetings through Microsoft Teams. During those meetings, we measured weekly progress. Outside of those meetings, we communicate through phone calls and emails. We also share an Excel spreadsheet that highlights the status of every open position. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate how quickly Devire has executed our demands. Our departments underwent changes at the beginning of the partnership, but Devire adapted well, delivering to our requirements as they changed. Their team isn’t afraid to push us to provide more information about our requests.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t change anything — the cooperation between us has been very good. However, I think it would be better if Devire scheduled interviews with potential candidates instead of our internal team.

My advice is to provide Devire with all the project details at the start of the engagement.

We were looking for an external candidates who will join our company for roles like: Bilingual Contact Centre Associate, Qualified Security Assessor Associate.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for best agencies in our area and after reviewing them, we have decided to move forward with one of the most experienced and best reviewed.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Firstly, we've provided them with a candidate and a job description. Then, they were looking for external candidates, who will be a great fit to our company. They were sending the resumes and recommendations of potential candidates to the recruiter, who was scheduling the interviews with the selected ones. The successful candidates were hired after two stages of the recruitment process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They were able to speed up our recruitment processes by providing us with skilled candidates who were a great fit in our company also in a personal way.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were in constant contact through e-mail and also through the phone. The team keeps us updated, and they take care of the candidates throughout the whole process of hiring.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We appreciate the fast process and high-quality services. Also the people with whom we were working were great and met our company's standards.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some of the processes take longer than expected, but in the end it paid off with a great pool of candidates.

Devire supported our HR team at our Polish headquarters. The recruiters dedicated to our project ran the entire process using the job descriptions provided by our internal hiring managers. Their team handled candidate searches and interviews and participated in the hiring process. 

We were hiring for a variety of positions but typically used Devire services when trying to identify candidates with good technical skills. We wanted candidates with engineering backgrounds.

We had two dedicated recruiters and an account manager for our project. 

How did you come to work with Devire?

I have no idea how we found Devire. Our talent question teammate was in charge of that process.

This partnership was from September 2021–August 2022.

Overall, I think the partnership went very well. I appreciated the support and the relationship I had with Devire’s team. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

We had close contact with Devire’s team — they were open to communication. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Devire was a good fit for our company because of their soft skills — they were good at building relationships with us. Their attitude and openness to learning about our business allowed them to provide us with good candidates. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only issue we had was that the recruiter changed after three months — we had hoped for a longer cooperation with only one recruiter from Devire’s team. That way, the recruiter could’ve better understood our company and background, which would’ve helped them market our open positions to potential candidates. That issue was actually one of the reasons we decided to end the partnership. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would be precise about how long the project will run so Devire can provide one dedicated teammate. I’d suggest documenting that the dedicated recruiter will only be working on your project. It’s important to be open with Devire to facilitate a long-term partnership.
