The project involved designing and building a refreshed website that better reflected our brand, improved usability, and gave us a more reliable platform to publish and manage content. The scope included reviewing our existing site, improving the overall structure and user experience, implementing the new design, and ensuring the site was functional across desktop and mobile. Key deliverables included the website build, page templates, content setup, performance and usability improvements, mobile optimisation, and support during launch. The team also helped work through technical issues and provided guidance where needed to make sure the final site met our requirements. Overall, the project was delivered professionally and gave us a much stronger website to operate from.

The project improved the overall quality, usability and reliability of the website. It gave us a cleaner user experience, a more professional presentation of the brand, and a stronger backend for managing content day to day. The project also helped create a better foundation for future growth, including improved site structure, easier content management and a more consistent experience for readers across devices.

Devika was engaged as Circolo Software's development partner to build the Circolo platform end to end, covering both the event planning and delivery suite and the full ticketing infrastructure. As an award-winning, 100% onshore Australian software development agency with a proven track record of over 100 product launches, Devika brought the engineering depth and technical expertise needed to bring Circolo's vision to life. The planning and delivery module forms the core of the Circolo Premium plan, giving event professionals the tools to plan, manage and run events from a single connected workspace. The ticketing platform was scoped and approved in December 2025, built on a Stripe Connect architecture with ABN verification and GST compliance, and is confirmed live in production. Together, these two modules deliver on Circolo's core promise: ticketing, planning and delivery in one platform, built for event professionals.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most significant measurable outcome is that the Circolo platform is live in production and actively serving customers. The ticketing module was scoped in December 2025 and successfully delivered to production within the agreed timeline, representing a full end to end build of a payments infrastructure platform with Stripe Connect integration, ABN verification and GST compliance. The planning and delivery suite is equally live, with paying subscribers on the Premium plan using the platform to manage real events. Customers are reporting a minimum 25% reduction in event administration time as a direct result of having their planning, delivery and ticketing workflows in one place. The consolidation of fragmented systems into a single platform has also delivered measurable cost savings for customers, removing the need for multiple third party tools that were previously required to manage the same workload. Together these outcomes validate the platform's readiness for market and position Circolo for its next phase of growth.

Devika's project management was structured and consistent throughout the engagement. Delivery was on time across both the planning and delivery suite and the ticketing platform, which is a strong reflection of how well the project was managed from scoping through to go-live. Communication was anchored by weekly product meetings held virtually, supplemented by onsite sessions a couple of times per year which kept the relationship grounded and collaborative. Response times to queries and feedback were consistently swift, and change requests were handled professionally with clear communication at every step. Devika operates an internal ticketing system for logging and monitoring requests on a time and materials basis, which provided transparency and accountability across the engagement. Overall the experience has been that of a genuine technology partner rather than simply a development vendor.

I’m one of the co-founders of Glean App, an all-in-one weight loss fitness app.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devika Creations?

We needed to simplify and make our app's UX more friendly to make weight loss accessible and easier for our clientele. We also wanted to make it easier for older generations to log workouts, track food, and log their progress.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Devika Creations has helped us revamp the UX of our mobile app for iOS and Android and helped us with our web-based portal, which all our coaches and nutritionists can access on their desktops.

At first, we called them and had a few back-and-forth discussions on different ideas and layouts that would suit our clientele. Then, we explained what we wanted the app to do. Afterward, the team started the design phase and later moved on to the actual development.

Now that we have explained how simple and user-friendly we want the app to be, Devika Creations has created the designs using Figma. It has taken them six months to create the app's MVP.

To sum up, Devika Creations has been involved in the app's design, development, and ongoing support. Their team has offered web and logo design and branding services, but we have our own marketing team, so that has all been figured out.

What is the team composition?

Initially, we were introduced to Ken, the owner of Devika Creations. At the moment, we have worked with Byron, the head of project management, who has helped us refine our ideas, and with Chris, a developer, and another developer.

How did you come to work with Devika Creations?

We got them through word of mouth. We knew Devika Creations had built a successful fitness app in Australia. So, when we met someone who had previously built an app with them, he gave us their contact information. So, we reached out to Devika Creations in the summer of 2023. Then, we had an engaging conversation with them. Because of that and the trustworthy word of mouth, it was a no-brainer that we went with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2023 and are still working with them. We’re adding quite a few app features and reinvesting back into them to keep adding more for our members.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Devika Creations has successfully delivered a mobile app with refined UX. The app works extremely quickly and has proven user-friendly from the get-go. The team has been swift in rolling out features.

By the middle of January 2024, we had about 500 members on the app, so we decided to perform a big launch. It's worth noting that we had 4,000–5,000 members on the day of launching. Now, we have around 6,000. There have been no issues so far; everything has been going well.

Thanks to their work, during the launch week in April, our app was number two in health and fitness on the App Store in Ireland and number 17 for the overall application market in the UK.

How did Devika Creations perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re on the ball with time management. We communicate with them on Slack daily, handling different parts of the project through different channels, and also have calls throughout the month. Moreover, the team has swiftly solved any little problems that pop up.

Their ongoing support is exceptional; we work with them daily. If I send them a message, they respond ASAP.

I'd like to give a shout-out to Byron, Daniel, and Chris.

They have been extremely good from the start. They have truly helped us, young founders who don't have a tech background, and have explained everything very simply to us from the very start. They've detailed the implications of every choice we’ve made and ultimately have helped us make very good decisions. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their integrity and care are the foundation of their company. It’s clear Devika Creations is extremely passionate about every single part of the project. Furthermore, they have a very user-first approach and a remarkable ability to explain quite complex things in very simplified terms. They have helped us weigh the pros and cons of our decisions within the app. I can’t praise their efficiency enough. We may have made mistakes if there had not been a great team like them with us.

There's nothing I'd have them improve. Our project has been very successful and straightforward so far. I would tell them to just keep doing what they're doing.

Devika was engaged to support the early design and development of the Varyn Environmental Intelligence platform concept. The work focused on translating the initial business idea into a digital POC, including core user flows, platform structure, assessment logic and an early Environmental Decision Record output. This stage was intended to test the product concept, user experience and technical feasibility before progressing to a full commercial build.

For an early-stage founder, that level of involvement and flexibility was extreemly valuable.

There were some aspects to the app that were promised but not delivered on time and communication was tough for periods but now with Sabrina this has all changed
