I knew the vendor from a past company named COPEC and Devartisan work for they. In this company i was a devops architect

They designed and developed a custom .Net, Cognito,VueJS business management solution. We first started with a discovery workflows and design mock-ups to test before starting production. They completed the project in 2-week sprints, which allowed us to test functions and give feedback. The final product made a corporate SSO and mechanical inspection report for ours cars

The project management was great, especially compared to other vendor we’ve worked with. They regularly met deadlines and we never had unexpected turnovers. We communicated through Teams, Jira, Slack, Email, and bitbucket

the worker are a good people, are smart and without problems to respond any questions, in an hour and without excuses.

We wanted to develop new features for the platform along with fixing other security and usability issues we had with a previous developer.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had a recommendation from a friend. The deciding factors were the support they give me from the beginning and giving me hope that the issues that I had could be fixed. Most of all the trust they provided me.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss the changes I wanted to do in the platform, and then we had periodical meetings for updates.

After launching our site, we had a 300% increased in users.

We had meetings over Zoom and if there were any delays, they let us know ahead of time and always replied our concerns over email or even whatsapp.

They took the time to guide me whenever I needed to. Always took into consideration my concerns about security.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Perhaps the timings for deployment, but I appreciate that they did all the testings to avoid as much bugs as possible.

We needed a platform for the business because our previous two platforms didn’t meet our expectations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DevArtisan took one of our previous platforms and improved upon it. It’s a web and mobile product that manages information. Using the platform, we can upload information and share it with companies.

About 3 people from DevArtisan worked on this project.

How did you come to work with DevArtisan SpA?

After the two previous projects failed, I decided to search for companies with experience working with female-led companies. I also sought a vendor that was at the forefront of gender because our company had a female focus. After asking around my network, I was referred to DevArtisan.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started this project in November 2019, and we continue to work with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We finally got the platform we needed. DevArtisan clearly understood our needs and represented them in the platform. Their team was able to build the platform in a short timeframe and delivered great results. The platform is solid, works perfectly, and meets our needs. 

How did DevArtisan SpA perform from a project management standpoint?

During the platform's development, we had continuous meetings. We had a short timeline, but their organizational skills made the project easy.

Their forward-thinking vision enables them to anticipate future complications and requirements. That was helpful. Their team is not only skilled but also organized, which is helpful for everyone.

I’m impressed with their design skills, proposals, and forward-thinking vision.

No, I can’t think of any way for them to improve.

Our nonprofit awards scholarships and we needed to digitize our processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DevArtisan SpA developed a system so we could store all information of all scholarship awardees, graduates, and prospective candidates. They continuously provide maintenance services.

I worked directly with two people from their team.

How did you come to work with DevArtisan SpA?

We asked for quotes from different companies. One firm referred Dev Artisan to us as a better fit for our requirements.

How much have you invested in them?

The first project cost about 3.5 million Chilean pesos (approximately $5,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started this project in 2018, and we continue working with them on maintenance.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re available, open to hearing our requirements and questions, and they always provide an immediate response.  The system has worked perfectly.

At one point we required more support from the system.  DevArtisan SpA suggested increasing the processing time, which was a genius idea that worked flawlessly. The team showed great commitment to the project; we’ve worked more closely as a result.

How did DevArtisan SpA perform from a project management standpoint?

They comply with everything we had agreed to, including our timelines. Any delays were mostly from our side. The team shows great responsibility and we’re very satisfied with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They provide great suggestions.  We sent requirements ourselves and they provided ideas that we hadn’t considered. These ideas are very important and provided a great added value.

No, I couldn’t say anything, honestly.

We needed to build a new platform. Unfortunately, we initially hired another provider and they didn’t do a good job. Eventually, we hired DevArtisan SpA to help us fix the platform.

DevArtisan SpA helped us improve this platform, specifically through data visualization. They used various coding languages, including HTML and Python, to work on the site.

We worked directly with one person.

They responded to us very quickly. They sent us a very good proposal — it was clear that they understood our needs.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project began in March 2020 and lasted about 12 months. We wrapped up earlier this month, in March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team added significant value to the project. They often surprised us with proposals that we hadn’t thought about on our own.

How did DevArtisan SpA Perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated by phone and email. Regarding deadlines, they were very professional they generally delivered on time. We did move around some dates here and there, but that was usually because they were waiting for our input before moving forward. Overall, their workflow was very efficient.

It was a complex project, but they were up to the challenge. They did a great job.
