We are pleased with the final product. Occasional maintenance still required and they are responsive.

Weekly updates. Phone and emails were the primary source of communication. It was somewhat informal, but I like that. It saves time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I like the direct communication with the project manager. Being a former developer myself, I could speak IT without fear of being misunderstood.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We should have started the test server earlier and closer checks by the developer would have led to fewer errors.

Since it's a new project it's not easy to measure improvements done. anyway, Deligience worked to improve usability and SEO features. In both cases, their job has improved the performance of the website.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I had a major problem with the website. The problem was so bad, it made the website completely non-functional. Sanjay (the founder of Diligence) estimated 80 hours of labor to fix it. He fixed it in under 70 hours, and the website works flawlessly!

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As usual, his project management skills with the various tasks I've hired him for, is phenomenal. Absolutely no complaints.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their customer service is superb and the quality of their work is phenomenal. Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.'s time to complete jobs is great, price is unbeatable.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Working with Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd. allows me to spend my time on other aspects of the business. The latest efforts have helped decrease the bounce rate, as well. Further, they were able to significantly enhance the page load speed. Compared to before the update, the desktop site’s Google page load speed score jumped from about 30 into the 100's. On mobile, the speed improved from 7 to 72.

The amount of contact they maintain is impressive. I know they will answer all my questions, and fast. They also make sure I'm fully happy before they consider the job to be complete.

I’m the owner and founder of Nitro Web Productions. I work by myself, offering digital marketing services to clients in the automotive industry.

I had already built a car auction app, but I wanted to redevelop the system with new technology.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd. recreated the original auction app using the Flutter software development kit (SDK). They built out iOS and Android versions that offered the same functionalities as the legacy system but with more speed. The app helps users find public car auctions in the US. It lists events by state and provides tips and advice to help users prepare for auctions. We’ve completed the main project, but they’re still providing support and updates as necessary.

Initially, I spoke with Sanjay (CEO, Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), but Amit (Project Manager, Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) handled the bulk of the project.

I searched for vendors on Upwork. Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd. had great reviews and proven experience using the Flutter SDK.

So far, I’ve spent about $13,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in September 2018, and it’s an ongoing partnership. We launched the apps in October, but they continue to support the platforms.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This is the first time I’ve worked with a remote developer, so I was a bit nervous at the start of the project. Soon into the partnership, my concerns disappeared. The delivered app is precisely what I wanted. Its design replicates the legacy system, but the backend Flutter framework is more stable and dynamic. Overall, I’m very happy with the experience—it was a rewarding investment.

How did Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

We didn’t have any problems. I mainly communicated with their team through the Upwork messenger, emails, and phone calls. They were very responsive during the business week, always informing me about any updates or changes they were working on. We’re in similar time zones, so getting in touch with them was never a problem.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I don’t have much experience in working with remote developers, but I was really impressed by how quickly Deligence Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was able to start on my project. I didn’t have to wait at all; they immediately got to work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve been pretty good. If anything, they could offer additional work hours.

I am a director at Bit Informatics Private Limited. The company is a medical Informatics company specializing in a software for the medical industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Deligence? 

We wanted to develop a web-based medical image exchange portal in meteor. Traditionally after acquisition, medical images were printed on film. With digitalization of medical image transfer, the medical images are shared over the internet to electronic devices (PCs, tablets, and mobile devices) of referring doctors and patients instead of printing on film. 

This transformation leads to a more cost effective and environmentally friendly way of distributing medical images. In addition, it gives radiologists and physicians access to Computer Aided Detection tools thus improving overall diagnosis. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Deligence developed a web application that acts as a secure juncture for the exchange of medical images and their associated reports between users (hospitals, doctors, patients). 

At some point during the development of the web app, we had a challenge figuring out how to upload the medical images from a local server to the live web application. Deligence was able to innovatively overcome this challenge. 

How did you come to work with Deligence?

I found Deligence on a freelancer site called Upwork. I was looking for a meteor developer with the best reviews from previous customers. When I checked Deligence's portfolio, I was impressed with it. 

How much have you invested with them?

The average annual investment has been $12,000.

What is the status of this engagement? 

We began working with them in January of 2017 and the collaboration is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Generally, there is a shortage of reporting radiologists in my country. The web app has allowed for the centralization of reporting for hospitals such that an off site radiologist(s) receives images on the app and reports on them. Apart from that, the web app has resulted in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way of sharing medical images between health professionals. 

How did Deligence perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed very well. We have used email, skype, and Whatsapp to communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I have found Deligence to be honest in the way they do business. They always meet deadlines and provide free consultation. This has not always been the case with previous suppliers. Additionally, they place a lot of emphasis on developing high-quality products. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no complaints so far.

I’m a product marketing director with a software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Deligence?

When I joined the company three years ago, we had a very low online presence. We had no immediate need to do directed campaigns or cold calling, but we needed to do base time marketing, establish a presence, and make our name known across the industry.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re basically responsible for updating our social media and user flow on our web and social media platforms. They do regular blog and social media posts with intent of driving and improving our search engine optimization or ranking within the search engines. We had very poor results before we engaged and that has had a tremendously positive development that would last a couple of years.

Our target market is global, and our keyword research has been collaborative. We started by creating a list and getting their feedback. Over time, we've developed a list and extended it to multiple languages starting in English and then added a few more languages as we went along. They have also integrated the same keyword list into the articles and posts on our website to help improve results. So, in addition to social media, they have also helped with site’s content.   

On the development side, they’ve given us support on the system we use for publishing. We give them specific development assignments or general tasks that require their technical know-how, which we don’t have in-house. In contrast to the SEO, which involves a regular, recurring contract for a period of time, this is a side assignment and more on a per-case basis.  

How did you come to work with Deligence?

We found them online, through a forum, and they were quick to reply and engage. We originally reached out to them for technical support on our online publishing system, and it later developed into an SEO contract. We saw the benefit of having the same company doing SEO and our website maintenance, because they already had the know-how, the logins, and all of the other requirements.

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested around $45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2015 and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have gone from hits within the hundreds of our keywords to within the top 10 of all of our 25 defined keywords. We have doubled the traffic to our website over that time period, and we have quadrupled the number of contracts via the website. Whether or not that is a direct consequence of their work or not, I don’t know, but these are the results during the time we have worked with Deligence.  

How did Deligence perform from a project management standpoint?

They are professional, on time, courteous, and easy to work with. We have communicated primarily over email. We have also used Skype and a couple of conference calls. We mainly talk on an as-needed basis, but we also have quarterly check-ins, and they send regular updates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The combination of skill sets. Their technical skills, along with the SEO marketing skills makes them a bit more unique than others I’ve worked with.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have worked better if they had native English speakers on their staff. They're not native English speakers and some of the content was not good enough quality language-wise. We also needed a multi-language company. They never claimed to be one. We asked them to do French and German, but that did not work out.

I’m the president and founder of Tollfreenumbers.com, which we’re rebranding to 1-800-MARKETER. I established the company 22 years ago in New York. We have 3 front-facing employees and a couple more database and backend people. The purpose of our site is to help companies find toll-free numbers that spell things.

What challenge were you trying to address with Deligence Technologies?

We wanted our site to be entertaining but also function as a review site, showing the strengths of different companies and breaking them down into different categories. We were trying to let people find the right type of service and view reviews. We worked with Sanjay [CEO, Deligence Technologies] to build a different site that was geared towards showing this capability to phone companies. We don’t include that at Tollfreenumbers.com because we’re not trying to detract from any phone company that sends customers to us. So, I had to create a place to review and show the real customer reviews and research that we did for the top companies that we release numbers too. The new platform now shows 50 companies that we researched and got customer reviews for.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sanjay built the entire website at 800numbers.com. Before starting this project, I had researched and found the review plug-in, which was for Joomla and WordPress. I started with that parameter. I looked for a partner that had some experience with this area. I found a template, and Deligence worked from the template that we had purchased and customized it to look totally different. I gave enough direction to steer it towards a good look. We ended up taking the look that we developed there with the team on 800numbers.com.

One of the most important aspects was learning to do the videos and images the way that I’d done, and I brought that knowledge over to Tollfreenumbers.com when I redid my main site. Deligence didn’t redo the main site, but the look that they helped develop became even bigger than the site that we were working on. We adopted that work for the whole company. Deligence handled both the backend and the design of the site. They did a good job of laying out and using all the features of the review plug-in properly. I didn’t know how everything was going to work ahead of time, but they made all of the details work. It took a little bit of tweaking, but they did a good job.

I found them through Elance—now Upwork—about 2 years ago. I don’t recall much of the process.

We’ve spent about $12,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with them for 6–8 months. We are no longer working with them. I’m not really changing much on the site and can maintain it myself.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did a good job of communicating and fine-tuning the vision that we had. They stuck with everything to make sure that we were fully satisfied in the end. The site is stable and consistent. I haven’t done as much as I should in getting ongoing reviews, but we’re going to try to do a better job of that with the new shopping cart by building some follow-up. The site has about 400 or 500 reviews spread over 50 companies, but that’s not enough yet. If we keep doing this over time, it’ll continue to get better and better.

How did Deligence Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a very good job. I was happy with the team throughout the whole process. We communicated almost entirely through Elance or Upwork. We had meetings as needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The overall quality of the work was strong and consistent. They knew what they were doing from the beginning. We had no challenges that they couldn’t find a way to fix.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, nothing stands out for that.

I’m the owner of a waterway vehicle rental agency.

Our business model is wholly online. Boat owners can enter their boat on our platform, and we will rent it for them. The users get the money, and we get a provision. We have some graphic designers but no in-house staff to develop the platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created our complete online platform. They helped us with research, design, and development. We had ideas about the design, and they knew exactly what we needed. We wanted the platform built in Joomla!, but they recommended that we build it from scratch using Node.js with MongoDB in MeteorJS. They advised us about a whole new software solution to avoid future problems. We have a good loading speed now, and the site’s really easy to administrate. We are also thinking about making an app in the future.

We had a good project manager who planned the whole website with us. We had an initial scope of ideas that we wanted to include in the platform. Since we don’t have good technical knowledge, so Deligence helped us with the technical part to help us achieve our ideas in the best way. They let us know which features not to include to keep the cost down.

Was there any challenge they overcame with the project?

We had everything outlined clearly, so there was no real challenge. The process went according to our plan.

We found them via a forum post. Our main aim was to have a developer who could deliver good quality at a good price.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in October 2016, and the work is ongoing. We have to check with insurance companies to know how to proceed. After that, Deligence will make the platform better.

We are satisfied with the platform, but we have some other logistical problems that have nothing to do with Deligence. The platform is still in the development process, so there are no users on it yet. I feel like Deligence has created a good foundation for our business.

How did Deligence perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a really good project manager. He was caring and provided everything we needed. We have contact with the developers, but our project manager handled all the details. We used Teamwork to create projects and insert points. We also used Skype and phone calls to communicate daily.

What did you find most impressive about Deligence?

They really cared about our opinions and tried to make the best solution possible. They provided everything we needed. Any questions we had were answered within 3 days.

Are there any areas Deligence could improve?

Once, the estimation wasn’t correct for a milestone.

I am the owner of Current Aerials and we provide aerial imagery to the commercial real estate industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Deligence?

We contracted them in order to design and build a website which offered our imagery to clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Deligence developed our website from scratch. We needed to develop a search logic for hundreds of thousands of pictures which needed to be categorized based on map coordinates being selected by the user. People can click on a property and search through a lot of images, returning the ones closest to the desired property and making them available for purchase. I collaborated with Deligence on creating this functionality, after which we came up with a design. It’s been a long process, but they’ve done an outstanding job from day one.

We also have an e-commerce portion which needed to be developed from the ground up. Once users select and purchase images, they will be delivered electronically.

The most difficult part of the project was the search logic. Once we had input from users interacting with our Google Maps plugin, the challenge was to search for pictures based on that information. The process took several weeks, and there was some serious coding involved instead of finding ready-made components.

How did you come to work with Deligence?

I am a one-man shop and initially looked for partners who could build this site as inexpensively as possible. I was put in touch with someone in the Los Angeles area who, after hearing about my project, decided it was outside his expertise. It was too much for him to handle as one person, but he had worked with Deligence’s team on a contract basis on previous projects involving website components. He recommended that I go to Deligence; they readily accepted the challenge and did a great job.

How much have you invested with Deligence?

The cost of their work has been between $20,000–$30,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Deligence approximately 2 years ago. The timeline was extended due to financing issues on my end. The collaboration is ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The website has launched but I haven’t done an e-blast to my customer base. I am in the process of final testing and want to make sure that everything is perfect before promoting the site. I plan to focus on the San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Phoenix areas.

Deligence has done an outstanding job with the website, but its success will mainly be based on the effectiveness of my e-blast within the 4 markets for which I’m actively looking for commercial property imagery. The traffic will be a reflection of the activity and health of these areas.

The site is stable and functioning as specified. My feedback was constantly requested and I was asked to test the site and report any problems or recommendations.

How did Deligence perform from a project management standpoint?

I communicate non-stop with my contact on Deligence’s side during her time in the office. I couldn’t ask for better communication and everything has been done precisely to my specifications. Almost all of our communication is done via Skype.

What did you find most impressive about Deligence?

This is the first website development company I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m most impressed with Deligence’s willingness to communicate proactively and aggressively. I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response to my questions. Communication is the most important aspect of this development — I feel like Deligence’s team is right in my office.

Are there any areas Deligence could improve?

Nothing comes to mind.
