I’m an auditor consultant at DMCC. Our company is based in Dubai, and my job is to provide consultancy services to an array of clients from different professions and backgrounds.

What challenge were you trying to address with Decodermind?

We needed to design and develop a web app and hired them to build it. For context, IT professionals in Dubai were expensive, and most companies hired developers from India and Pakistan because of the cost factor. Since this was a one-off project, we decided to hire Decodermind for the same reason. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our team and Decodermind discussed our user requirements during our first meeting. Then, they gave us forms and asked us plenty of questions until we got to a point where we were clear about what we wanted. We had follow-ups and weekly meetings while communicating on a daily basis. Our teams worked together, and they gave us their opinions on what we could do better. We used Python as a key technology. 

For features and functionality, the web app was a social platform where we could integrate professionals and pop out any new ideas. The professionals could give their input and ideas about important solutions and problems.

One web developer was assigned to the project. The backend team worked behind the scenes. 

How did you come to work with Decodermind?

I had a big professional circle, and one of my colleagues already worked with Decodermind and gave them a project before. When this specific project rolled around, that colleague suggested Decodermind. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in February–October 2015. We now have a new idea and will get in touch with them about it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The product was delivered and met our expectations. We had a raw idea, and Decodermind gave it shape. Simply put, the team was good and professional. 

How did Decodermind perform from a project management standpoint?

Their services were cost-effective, which was why we hired them in the first place. On top of that, we didn’t have to increase our initial budget. They also delivered the project on time. We communicated daily on Slack and had weekly virtual meetings using Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Decodermind’s approach of having one dedicated person assigned to the project was great. If we had questions or wanted to add something to the project, they responded on time and were proactive. Because of that, we never faced problems in terms of communication. Everything was well-maintained.

No, there weren’t any.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The integration of advanced data analytics and machine learning algorithms dramatically decreased the time it took to process and analyze health data, improving operational efficiency.

Robust security measures, including end-to-end encryption and HIPAA compliance, ensured the platform remained secure, with no reported data breaches or vulnerabilities.

They have delivered the software components in a timely manner until today. Their use of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum with two-week sprints, ensured that development was iterative and aligned with our project milestones. The Decodermind dev team is highly responsive to our needs and feedback. 
They maintain open lines of communication through weekly video calls and a shared project management tool, which facilitated real-time updates and quick issue resolution. The project manager provides regular progress reports and holds periodic stakeholder meetings to ensure all parties are aligned with the project goals and status. This transparency helped us stay informed about the project’s progress and allowed for any necessary adjustments to be made promptly.

Umm!! These guys are professional and i am not sure i can give any improvement idea. They are good at what they do.

We are an enterprise apartment and property management software-as-a-service platform aimed at optimizing on-site maintenance operations.

• We were trying to improve a previously poorly written piece of Django software, as well as all the APIs necessary for supporting an iOS app. We are a startup, so we have outsourced our product development to Decodermind in order to get an early prototype to market.
