Smart Contract Security Audit. Technical audit of the state of information security of the smart contract (“Penetration Testing”). The assessment was conducted in a manner that simulated a malicious individual who has access to our smart contract source code. 

The objective was to verify the target object's security and determine whether an attacker could compromise the target object’s defense. 

• Phase 1 – Getting familiar with the code and application Following steps were carried out during this smart contract security audit. Brief code overview To quickly get familiar with smart contract functionality unit tests were executed and graph images were generated and reviewed. Particular attention was paid to analyse cryptography, third-party modules, and the structure of libraries. Detailed analysis of the application Each action, all requests, input fields, and nested modules were analysed on the smart contract. 
• Phase 2 – Bug scanning Within this phase the team scanned the application with appropriate binary and source level to identify potential violations from coding guidelines and security practices. The following utilities were used for analyzing smart contract (sol): Remix Offers various functionalities, such as real-time code compilation, debugging tools, gas consumption analysis, and smart contract testing capabilities. Hardhat Framework for developing and testing smart contracts. It has built-in functionality for launching a local network, conducting tests and connecting external security modules. Ethersplay EVM disassembler to work with ethereum bytecode. Echidna EVM disassembler to work with ethereum bytecode. 
• Phase 3 – Scanners results verification Within this phase the team reviews scan results to identify which of them are false positives and which of them can affect application security.

They performed a thorough security audit of our website and web apps, identifying potential risks in our infrastructure.

They used Metasploit to carry out penetration testing and Paros Proxy to scan for vulnerabilities. After they finished, they delivered a report on all of our risks and provided a list of security recommendations. They're now implementing those changes. Include any key technologies and features.

The vendor performed "black-box" attacks to our main 4 websites. These attacks included automatic and our company specific manual tests and also DDoS attacks. We got a detailed report after each website listing all our vulnerabilities together with descriptions and suggestions.
