Augmenting own development team to deliver platform functionalities, and maintenance / updating of the platform thereafter. Deliveries were centered around the need to deliver certain functionalities by deadlines in coordination with the business teams.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Timelines were met, and functionalities went live with no significant issues there after. Software was very clean, easy to maintain and upgrade.

An aspect we appreciate the most about Danubius is how close they remained to the business requirements at every level of interaction, understanding them and providing input based on the business requirements. Deliverables were on time and generated proactively. 

I would also highlight how flexible Danubius remained through the project, quickly adapting to our our current development needs, providing a Devops, tester, scalability tester, among other resources when needed. This takes tremendous project management effort from their side and we value it very highly.

As discussed, it would be their great alignment to the business priorities, flexibility in providing us the right resources when we needed them, and quality of their teams.

We were very satisfied with the project and as such, don't have immediate feedback on what could be done better.

Danubius provided custom full-stack software development in collaboration with the internal tech team. They helped to achieve business goals, optimised performance in production and introduced DevOps processes in an agile way.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The required business functions and processes were completed, and in every iteration, the software contained more and more relevant media features, which can be used by the customers and added direct value to them.

The scrum master was on our side, who coordinated the work, but Danubius people were able to finish development tasks on time, and even when there were complicated tasks, they could break those down into smaller components, which could be estimated, scheduled and measured. We could count on them in every aspect of the project.

Communication with honesty, trustworthiness, no surprises at all. Deep knowledge not only in technology, but in the way of working as well. Team spirit and good chemistry between internals us and them.

I’m an engineer at a dynamic education company. We provide learning materials to schools throughout Europe.

What challenge were you trying to address with Danubius IT Solutions?

We were a traditional educational publisher and wanted to transform our business towards digital solutions. Consequently, we were looking for solid and reliable external developers to help us execute the strategy.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Danubius IT Solutions provides custom software development services for us. We've started with a single project, and the relationship has grown to the point that we now have multiple people from their side working on numerous of our projects. In addition to that, they've also taken care of UI/UX and project management tasks.

Regarding technologies, they're using .NET, React, Node.js, and MongoDB.

What is the team composition?

We've been working with around 25 members of Danubius IT Solutions' team.

How did you come to work with Danubius IT Solutions?

We've known about their work since they started as a company.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2015, and the engagement is ongoing.

Danubius IT Solutions' team has delivered every project according to our expectations. Currently, they feel like a part of our internal team.

We're constantly in contact with the different levels of Danubius IT Solutions' staff. In addition, they're always open to addressing our inquiries and concerns.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Danubius IT Solutions' team is always there to help search for solutions if there are conflicts or problems.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their English proficiency, but they're already working on it. In addition, it took some time for them to move over to the Node stack, but they did, so I don't see big things that need to change.

Ensure a transparent relationship between teams.
