I'm the president of Nested Bean, a consumer products company. We design and sell patented infant sleepwear that mimics a parent's soothing touch to help babies achieve longer and more restful sleep, so the whole family can thrive.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with D2C Design?

We needed help improving our educational content on PDPs and therefore conversion rate of those pages.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

D2C Design provided us with page design (UX/UI), creative development, content creation, product comparison charts, out-of-stock email solicitation UX, product upsell, and shoppable image design. The team also designed our product detail pages.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from D2C Design.

How did you come to work with D2C Design?

D2C Design reached out to me through an inbound call. I chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit and had good value for the cost. Additionally, they did a demo for us, which was exceptional compared to other designs we had received.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2025 to January 2026 in a multi-phased, multi-delivery initiative.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

D2C Design delivered wireframes, Figma design files, images, and videos. We saw a 10%–30% improvement in our conversion rate, and we also saw improvements in our dwell time, scroll depth, and sales.

How did D2C Design perform from a project management standpoint?

D2C Design's deliverables were always on time and high-quality. We communicated through virtual meetings, emails, and a messaging app. Overall, their project communications were always clear and concise.

What did you find most impressive about them?

D2C Design's team was experienced in UX/UI, product marketing, brand, and consumer perception. They took the time to learn about our brand, our consumer, they researched design trends, and presented a design that was high-quality and maintained our brand's premium aesthetic. The team was very intelligent, friendly, and extremely easy to work with. All communications and management of project deliverables were always handled very professionally.

Are there any areas they could improve?

From my perspective, nothing could have made the experience I had better.

I handle diverse projects where I face different service providers such as developers, copywriters, and designers. I was in charge of diverse projects to be launched on crowdfunding sites, so I had to archive mailing, sites, ads, and all the marketing related.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Make the test with real cases, choose the better one and no one gets contract. There were different scopes because there were 6 or 7 products to be launched, so I looked for people regarding databases, video creators, and Developers to integrate API.

To demonstrate the impact of the engagement, I did use metrics such as website traffic, bounce rates, time on page, user engagement, and customer satisfaction ratings. These metrics could indicate whether the new design is successful in achieving the project's goals.

The service provider should be able to communicate effectively, meet the requirements, and collaborate with the questions and issues. Also, look for a service provider with experience working on similar projects and can bring innovative ideas to the table.  It is important to establish clear project goals, communicate effectively, and measure the impact of the engagement to ensure that the end product meets the needs of the users and the business.
