I’m the senior business manager of Bareek, a new fashion online marketplace based in New Delhi, India.

What challenge were you trying to address with CSSChopper?
We needed to develop our business e-commerce website.

What was the scope of their involvement?
CSSChopper designed and developed our e-commerce site on Shopify, and they helped us list our products on it. Although they’ve already delivered the site, we’re currently migrating our data into it, and we’re considering engaging with them for maintenance purposes.

I worked with around 4–5 people from CSSChopper, including Aston (Business Relationship Manager), a project coordinator, a Shopify developer, and a web designer.
How did you come to work with CSSChopper?
CSSChopper was recommended to us by a business friend. We also did some research on our end.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $40,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in January 2022, and CSSChopper completed the entire website development and design process in the last week of March 2022. The engagement ended, but we will be considering them for website maintenance.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CSSChopper did a great job. The site is yet to launch, so we don’t have any results. Still, their design and development services were really good.
How did CSSChopper perform from a project management standpoint?
CSSChopper’s project management was good. They followed the agile development methodology, so we divided the entire project into milestones. Throughout the project, we provided them with feedback and requested changes, and they were very responsive and open to our comments.
We communicated with Aston on a weekly basis. He was very comprehensive in his approach, and he provided us with analytical reports every week. We used Skype to communicate, and CSSChopper used ClickUp internally to manage the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be great if they were more flexible with their costs.

Besides phone calls and emails, they also provided choices of Skype, WhatsApp, and Slack, which means they use multiple channels for communication, which is good.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
From developers to the project manager, every team member was easy to talk to. It was as if we were talking to our own team. Every major or minor development on our website was shared with us. They communicate efficiently and use better tools to connect with customers.

There is nothing significant that they should improve. But we would like to receive more attractive offers from them next time we choose them for our project.
