The Crypton team included a PM, a backend, a frontend, a QA, a business analyst, and a Tech Lead. The Crypton team added more team members when required.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The major achievement for us was that the Crypton team delivered on time. With such strict time limitations, we were even surprised that the team made it in such a short period of time. I also wanted to notice that the Crypton team sometimes went 'beyond the scope' in terms of involvement in our project. They suggested ways of product optimization, cost savings, etc. The Crypton team became more than the developers but partners to our team.

The project management was good. We had bi-weekly updates where the team shared the results and plans. We've discussed urgent questions via a messaging app and went on additional calls if needed.

The Crypton team is responsible for what they do. They really dive into a project and suggest ways of optimization, not just develop according to the tech documents you provide them with. You don't expect that from classic development studios usually.

I’m a director at a cryptocurrency project aiming to make access to crypto easier for people. We offer multiple index baskets that users can buy into using cryptocurrency. The baskets are all cultivated depending on what asset type it is; they have a variety of tokens weighted at different amounts. This way, users can enter it without having to do all the background work to figure out what assets to buy and at what percentage.

We needed somebody to help develop our product and design its UI, so we hired Crypton Studio to take the project to completion.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Crypton Studio is developing our product. Initially, we gave them a concept idea, including what we wanted the product to look like and how it should operate. From there, they came back with a proposal. They’ve designed the UI and started the development of the product. 

They’re building the solution on the Polygon platform using smart contracts. Security is also part of their task; they run many tests to ensure the platform is secure. Currently, Crypton Studio is in the final stages of development, and we’re in the alpha testing phase.

We’ve worked with roughly five teammates, from the project manager to developers, a UI designer, and our main point person, who is in Crypton Studio’s leadership team.

A highly respected person from the Polygon team recommended them to us. We chose Crypton Studio due to the recommendation and their work portfolio; they had extensive experience in blockchain technology and fit our needs.

We’ve spent around $165,000.

We started working together in March 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Crypton Studio has nearly completed the product, and we’re very happy with it. We’ve had a lot of interest in the solution; we had 150 applicants for alpha testing alone, and the feedback from the participants has been really good. Polygon has also been very supportive, and we’ve secured a grant based on Crypton Studio’s scope of work. 

We’ve worked with other developers in the past, and Crypton Studio is the best provider we’ve had. They’re very professional and deliver great quality. Moreover, the team is easy to work with. 

How did Crypton Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very responsive, communicative, and prompt. They’ve been there to answer any questions and concerns we’ve had. The team also provides frequent updates. 

As for communication, we have weekly virtual meetings where we touch base and discuss the details from pre-development to post-development. The developers also get on the calls with us, so they’re able to answer any questions we have, and we can offer our feedback. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Crypton Studio’s biggest strengths are their customer service and its one-stop-shop approach. They can handle various tasks and projects due to their varied team. As a result, they can handle every aspect of a project like ours and are available at most times.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to improve; they’ve done a phenomenal job.

My advice is to ask a lot of questions and engage in those early meetings because Crypton Studio is very receptive. Additionally, have a clear idea of what you envision for your project so that you can provide that to the team before they get started.

I was blown away by their knowledge and understanding of the most complex system designs. Their documentation (brand package) was far superior to others we have worked with in the past. All in all, if presentation and quality are important to you, then Crypton Studio is who to call!

After a short call and sharing the skills and requirements we have they organized a meeting with their Business analyst and Team Leads. They held regular meetings with our team to keep us informed of the whole process. They make you look at things that were not on your radar, and which will often allow you to take a business unit to the next level of growth and profitability. I think when your Contractor is not just a Contractor but a Development partner it's much more valuable.

The main skills that we needed were writing smart contracts on Solidity, Front end on Vue.js, and Business Analyst and Project Manager work. Cost: Early on, everything in business felt expensive. Now, knowing for these guys are working, I would pay more for Crypton Studio services!
