Our project was in the process of changing leadership and rebranding from a De-Fi project into an NFT project. We needed experts who were well-connected in the industry to get the word out and bring attention to our project and what was coming next.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

My team and I interviewed 12 separate marketing agencies all claiming to be experts in their field. Some showed up to these interviews unprepared and uninformed about our project. They did no prior research and ultimately gave us little to no confidence in their abilities.

CrowdCreate was different. They presented well, they knew their stuff, they were personable and ready to execute. After holding subsequent interviews with the 3 best candidates, CrowdCreate came out on top by a long shot. They handled negotiations well and were ready to deliver on what we needed.

First we shared our digital assets and completed their onboarding and intake form so they could have a better idea of the scope of our project. We then had our initial onboarding call where we met with our account manager and went over any other questions that they may have had and came up with a strategy for execution.

We worked with an account manager, the influencer management team, PR manager, outreach specialist and SMM/community manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Unfortunately, due to the volatility of cryptocurrency, we (as a project) were unable to see the full potential of CrowdCreate. Given some of the inner workings of our project (we are community driven and at the whims of their direction) the expectations given by the community shifted back and forth quickly and thus our needs were ever changing. CrowdCreate did a great job, trying their best to accommodate those changes.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had weekly meetings with their account manager to track progress of campaigns, give updates where necessary and give feedback or guidance on things that were or were not working. CrowdCreate uses a mixture of Monday and Slack, which at times can be a little clunky. But after I addressed my irritation at juggling the two, they were quick to suggest I interface with the only account manager directly and he will in turn speak with the team internally, relieving my need to navigate multiple communication streams. This worked beautifully for the remainder of our time together.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

CrowdCreate was genuinely invested and dedicated to attending to our needs and helping us succeed. They strive to excel in every area and service they offer. They are happy to receive feedback and quick to offer solutions or implement changes based on clients needs. The Founders are hands on and ready to be a part of the conversation. They check in to make sure clients are happy with the services thus far and are interested in how they can improve their company. To see founders Ivan and Jeff interacting with clients on such personal level, sharing knowledge and insights, and making sure their employees are delivering excellent service is something refreshing to see and truly makes them stand out among the competition.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

One area that could use some improvement (but is currently being worked on from what I am told) is influencer vetting. There were a few accounts they offered in their roster that, after running third party analytics on, came out sub-stellar and should not have been included. Finding ways to provide a more thorough check of influencer scoring and reach would be valuable and put them out even further ahead of their competition.

We also booked a Strategy Call with Milan (Binance executive) through Crowdcreate. The call provided us with a lot of useful info, insider's tips and recommendations. Highly recommend it!

I'm very happy with Samuel as an account manager. He's helpful, responsive and simply pleasant to work with. There were some buffers regarding influencer marketing and Crowdcreate almost immediately came up with a solution by introducing another person who's the same timezone to assist in a timely manner.
