I’m a marketing manager at a local operator of several car rental companies.

What challenges were you trying to address with Creativería?

As part of our social responsibility program, we created an initiative to offer jobs for people above 50 years old. This program was a good chance for us to meet our logistic needs, as we constantly needed drivers to move vehicles, but it was also a challenge in terms of organization. Thus, we decided to create a platform that could help us register the number of cars we needed to move, define the locations, and contact the new drivers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creativería built our web-based platform from scratch. The platform allows us to send a notification to the drives in our database whenever a transfer need arises and assign them tasks.

What was the team composition?

We worked directly with the CEO and a team of developers and creatives.

How did you come to work with Creativería?

They were referred by an agency I had worked with in the past.

How much have you invested in them? 

We spent between $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement? 

We started working on this project in January 2021.  Although they’ve already delivered the platform, we’re still working with them on other projects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After implementing the platform during the pandemic, we had about 10 transfers per day through it, which represented important savings for our company.

How did Creativería perform from a project management standpoint?

Creativería was very professional and well-organized, and they followed the schedule without any setbacks. They were in constant communication with us and offered great transparency on every step of the process. We used MicrosoftTeams to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Creativería’s project management skills, creativity, and guidance through the project were impressive. They were great at understanding our needs and translating them into a functional product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we were completely satisfied with their work.

If you’re about to start a similar project, do not hesitate to work with them.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Founder of a technology firm that focuses on data science, machine learning, and AI for business via services, training, products, and software.

For what projects/services did your company hire Creativería, and what were your goals?

Our goal was to build a custom software that integrated our AI technology. La Creativería's team of designers, developers, engineers, and product managers met with our team to scope out the work, review the product requirements and conduct a 3 hour Inception Deck to truly understand the product. The goal was to get an estimated cost of work and design a customer architecture for the software.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I liked how agile and minimalist La Creativería was. Everyone on their team was great to work with. Their founder and CEO, Maikol A., is phenomenal. Their design style is minimalistic and simplistic. I loved their focus on not over-complicating the design, development, and architecture. They ensured we were focusing on the most minimally viable features to build a great product.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of work included an Inception Deck and a software architecture design. The deliverable was a project plan and estimated number of sprints to complete. The technologies used were:

• Firebase Cloud Storage
• RStudio Cloud for a custom algorithm service

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

La Creativería's deliverable was immensely valuable for us. As a startup, it was difficult to understand the software development terrain, but they made the custom design architecture simple and clear to understand

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They use Agile for project management, Google Meet for web conferences, and Miro for collaborative whiteboarding. They're timeliness was so expedient that I was the one who was actually falling behind.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The CEO and his team. They are a phenomenal company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No.

I’m a project manager at an electronics manufacturing services.

What challenges were you trying to address with Creativería?

We were looking to develop a technology tool that would allow us to trace our services and relations with our clients. It was important to gather information to standardize our services and analyze them to provide better customer service.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creativería developed a web-based app. We started by meeting up with them with some ideas about what we wanted, and they helped us design, develop and implement the project.

In terms of functionalities, the app allows us to collect all of our client's information in a single database. That will also enable us to gather all the features of our projects to predict and provide better technical details to our technical staff. Additionally, it will help us program our maintenance visits step by step, allowing us to diminish mistakes and improve our services. 

What was the team composition?

We work with six members of their team, including a design leader, a development leader, a product owner, and a couple of UX/UI designers.

How did you come to work with Creativería?

I heard many good references from them. We chose them for this task because we had a project in the past and we were very happy with their services and the results.

How much have you invested in them?

We've spent around $200,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started in the company in February 2021, and since then, I’ve been working with them. We are currently in the last stages of the project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We use agile methodologies, so we set up goals after every sprint — these goals are related to the value generated by the tools. 

How did Creativería perform from a project management standpoint?

They've exceeded our expectations with project management; their team has always made sure that our experience as clients is perfect. In terms of communications, they are great, too; we have several channels to reach out to each other, which has worked perfectly because we've never had any issues. Regarding tools, we use Miro, Trello, Planner, and Microsoft Teams, among others.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They always make sure that the project generates an impact for their clients in terms of value. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — we're constantly providing feedback, so that's a regular part of our collaboration.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Dedicate yourself to the project so you can take advantage of everything they have to offer.

I work in the marketing department for Latin America for Enterprise Holdings Inc, the parent company of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent a Car, and National Car Rental. We have offices worldwide and are one of the biggest car rental companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Creativería?

We have franchises all over Latin America, so we needed a website for each of the three brands in all of the countries we’re in, which is about 30.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially contracted Creativería to start with some of the Alamo websites. We started with two, but they did such a great job that we referred them to 7–8 partners in different countries. We provided our branded guidelines and the content, but they’ve handled everything regarding website development and hosting. They use Bluehost for their website template setups.

What is the team composition?

We deal with Maikol (CEO) and another person daily, but they also work with freelancers in-house.

How did you come to work with Creativería?

It started with a local referral from our partners in Costa Rica. They began with that country. Then, we liked the quality of their work, so we referred them to other countries.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $30,000–$40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We aren’t measuring the websites based on traffic or any metrics because they’re so new. We don’t have a final KPI, but they’ve produced excellent quality work. The sites look exactly like our US corporate website, and not many developers could do that.

How did Creativería perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great; we really like working with them. We communicate via email most of the time, but we also do weekly status calls via phone or Teams to see the progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their project management skills are outstanding. They’re very organized on how they develop the projects and clear with deadlines, which is a plus. Also, it’s easy to work with them. This is a complex project with many partners. There’s a spider web of contacts for each country, and they’ve been able to dedicate themselves to each of the partners, some with more experience than others. Nonetheless, they’ve had the patience to go through them, which is valuable for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’re pretty happy with their delivery, to be honest. We just hope they still have some resources for us as we get into more complex projects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Stay on track with their timeline. It must be a mutual effort, so make sure you deliver on the same timeline.
