They’re Minsk-based, which was crucial for us since they were developing parts of our core product. We wanted to be in control and be able to reach them quickly if necessary. Their team of engineers had a proven background.

Their communication was clear and straight forward. The team didn’t get bogged down by bureaucracy, so we were able to concentrate on development.

They’re young, transparent, and work quickly. I wouldn’t expect any trouble from this vendor.

The project could’ve been finished faster, but we were focused on quality, so speed wasn’t as important to us.

I'm one of the owner/founders of a technology partner and software vendor. We create applications and software for enterprise architecture management, and we operate globally.

When we started in 2015, we tried to find a sustainable partner to help us with development for our applications. The first project we worked on together was a visual modeling solution built on top of a platform we support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They've done both front- and backend development. Based on an open-source library, they create a UI for us and match that UI with the backend via the API we use. The primary language is JavaScript, but they also use Angular, ServiceNow, and HTML.

We work with a team of three people, led by an administrative team.

We found them through Upwork. They had the right skillset, and we felt their team was a good fit for our needs. We considered a few teams, but they met all our requirements.

Our total expenditure is close to $200,000-$220,000.

We started working with them in August 2016 and have had a monthly agreement with them since then.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We track their success based on the number of bugs we have to fix, speed of delivery, and the quality of the deliverables. So far, all their work is satisfactory, particularly from a creative perspective. They take a little longer than some local teams we've worked with, but the quality is well received by our internal team.

How did CreativeIT perform from a project management standpoint?

They don't do a lot of project management, but they understand all the requirements. We track tasks through Jira and have a weekly call. We drive the project and tell them what they need to do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their depth of knowledge and their creativity sets them apart from their competition. Their name is appropriate, and they find unique solutions to our problems. We specify things we want, and they turn work around quickly. We are thoroughly satisfied with their ability to meet our requirements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I'm happy with them. They respond quickly, sometimes even within half an hour. They're willing to work odd hours and are very reliable.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have detailed specifications and requirements. That's true of any company. They're very good at coming up with creative, complete solutions, but they'll do better with more detail.

CreativeIT provided frontend development services for one of our clients in the transportation industry, upgrading their user management platform to the latest Angular version. They provided UI/UX designs and implemented a few new features as well. They continue to provide ongoing support as needed for other projects.

We worked on the most recent project from December 2017–November 2018, but we continue to work with them on other projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our customer was very happy with the UI/UX design work CreativeIT provided. In addition to the quality of their code and designs, they also helped us meet a very strict deadline so the customer was able to participate in a government tender.

They take an agile approach to project management, so we held daily meetings with their team to go over progress of different deliverables and milestones. They were also very professional when working directly with our client. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They've been working with Angular since it was in beta, so they're experts in that specific technology. We're also impressed that they were able to meet strict deadlines, which kept us in good standing with our client. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothin so far.

No, but I'd definitely recommend them for any Angular UI/UX type of work.

We wanted to have a completed design for the platform to upload to TestFlight for beta testing purposes. Our ultimate goal was to provide our client with a functional, tested, product.

CreativeIT picked up where a previous vendor left off. They looked at the existing code and designs and created a plan for how to move forward. Their team handled the UX/UI development and produced the final product.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was a success for us. We were able to provide our client with an app they can pitch to investors. The final product was attractive and functioned as expected.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had an amazing workflow. Even with a time difference, they adhered to our plans and were available for impromptu meetings if needed. Raman managed the schedules, and we collaborated well with their creative dev team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The speed at which CreativeIT produced quality work was impressive. Their quick process allowed us to hit deadlines for our client. I always knew where our progress was and the timeline moving forward.

There’s nothing I can think of for them to improve.

We had a complex set of data, which we wanted to present in a visual way. We were looking for a vendor to develop an application for us.

CreativeIT built an application that can use different sets of data. They developed both the frontend, which displays the data, and the backend, which helps us organize it more effectively. There is a strong visual component of the project, so CreativeIT used a material dashboard to help us display graphs and charts. We plan to expand and develop the project further.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now have the first version of an application that helps us present complex data sets in a visually appealing way. It was a fairly ambitious project, but they effectively put together the wireframe and implemented it. Our internal development team could take over the project from there.

How did CreativeIT perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very transparent and have excellent communication skills. We had a weekly call where we discussed the progress and they gave us a list with every single task they accomplished. We mostly used email and Slack to stay in touch and they were very responsive. Also, they implemented all of our changes very quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They combine a range of skills and exceptional responsiveness. It's very difficult to find both of these in one place, and CreativeIT is doing that at a competitive price.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I'd recommend them to others.

Have a good vision of what you want and avoid micromanaging. Initially, we required quite a bit of conversation, but things got easier when we understood what we wanted.

We wanted to create a property listing website so that our users could easily find all the necessary information on the internet. The platform had to provide a fast page load speed and convenient navigation.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found the company on Upwork and they seemed to be capable of taking the project and leading it till the successful implementation. So, we discussed the project details and agreed on the terms.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Mainly, React and Redux were used for front-end part. The CreativeIT team implemented a modern user interface (UI) and provided fast loading of pages so our clients could easily find what they needed. After that, they added some new features like property view with description pages, property view on the map and in the list at the same time, the list of properties, etc. The website supported 3 languages: English, Latvian and Russian.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We released the product on the market and it has already proved its ability to gain users. Now, we’re continuing to win the market since the solid tech foundation of the product helps a lot by providing a stable and smooth UX.

All updates were being sent to the Slack chat. The work process was organized in an agile manner with daily standups and sprints planning & managing on Trello.

We liked the transparency and instant communication between the CreativeIT’s developers and our designer, and a back-end developer. They played as in-house and they were product-minded developers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything was fine. After this project, we recommended the CreativeIT team to our Latvian partners who were looking for a trustworthy development company since we were sure that the team is able to handle challenging projects.

The goal was to release a cross-platform React Native mobile application in Google Play and App Store which will allow clients of Pelagone hotel order services in a convenient way.

The project is a mobile application for hotel and golf resort in Italy. We wanted to give the hotel customers a companion app, which they were supposed to install when they checked-in in the hotel. App proposes to book 7 services provided by the resort.

Each service can be booked based on specific conditions to be selected by guests: date, time, specialists, types of services, and a variety of offers, a number of participants. There also was a possibility to view the history of their bookings and additional info about the hotel, phone numbers of support.

Currently, we have released application version 1.0.7 in both of the stores and continue to add extra features with updates.

We had a very clear communication through the calls and Slack, they gave us expectations and estimations before development, so it is a great pleasure to work with this team.

The team's ability to work fast impresses us! The initial development only took them five weeks.
