I am the founder and managing director of a startup. Our website would provide dental solutions online by connecting customers to dentists.

We hired Creaa Designs for website design and development.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have a functional website that provided a smooth experience for customers.

How did you select this vendor?

I saw their portfolio, which prompted me to call them. Our initial discussions were quite promising. After I met their team and discussed the project details, I was convinced to hire them.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Creaa was involved in every aspect of the project. They created the initial mock-ups, finalized the website designs, and converted them into HTML. The Creaa team then did coding and testing.

What was the team composition?

I worked closely with two designers, two developers, and one tester.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Not at the moment. I can only provide performance metrics after the project goes live.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Their project management was effective, allowing them to deliver high-quality results on time. They were always available and quite dedicated to the project. We communicated via telephone and Skype when they needed additional instructions.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed with their open and transparent communication.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

None. I am quite satisfied with what they delivered.

Our company is Perfumes Arabia, an online portal that sells specialized fragrances.

What challenge were you trying to address with Creaa Designs?

Essentially, we wanted a developer to build us a user-friendly, e-commerce website. Perfume is not usually bought online, unless one is familiar with the brand. Our goal was to showcase a number of new fragrances by providing as much detail as possible.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’d developed a site with a different vendor when we first launched Perfumes Arabia. When Creaa Designs got involved, we discussed the price of a total redesign. We realized that it would cost the same, if not more, than it would to correct and revamp the existing site. We decided to engage with the team, sought their input, and began work.

Creaa Designs built a shopping cart function so our customers could make purchases directly on the site. They integrated the complicated check-out procedure that calculates delivery charges for every order. This function required maximum control on the backend. We provided the necessary figures to create an algorithm that calculates postal costs based on products’ weight and dimensions. Not only do our products have different shipping costs, but we also wanted the option of free delivery. The team built a system that lets us change that offer whenever we need.

What is the team composition?

While I've never met the entire team, I've spoken to several of them on the phone. The owners have a team of programmers and designers working under them.

How did you come to work with Creaa Designs?

A friend gave us a referral for Creaa Designs. We looked at their previous work online, and held an initial meeting in which they seemed very amicable.

How much have you invested with them?

The website itself cost $7,500, and we pay them regular fees for SEO and maintenance.

What is the status of this engagement?

Perfumes Arabia was developed around 2010 or 2011. Our relationship is ongoing, as they continue to manage our website. They make changes when needed, and provide hosting and SEO services.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We saw increased web traffic and sales during our initial engagement. During the two-year break in our partnership, we lost some traction. Excluding that period, we’ve had great results from the work they've performed. After their SEO push, our site climbed the rankings very quickly. I wish we hadn't taken that break, because we had to redo much of the same work. It seemed more difficult the second time around.

How did Creaa Designs perform from a project management standpoint?

We used WhatsApp, email, Skype, and phone calls to touch base. Typically, one designer was dedicated to one or two projects at a time. Whenever I called, the person I spoke with immediately knew what I was referring to. Despite my reticence to use a foreign company, the process worked quite well. They're very good at communicating.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The number one thing they offered was an excellent response time. They return your messages promptly when you need work done, which preempted any frustration from our side.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Since we don't have much exposure working with other companies, it’s difficult to compare them. They did a better job than some vendors I’ve worked with, and have excellent examples of work displayed on their site. Clearly, they’re doing something right. It wouldn't be fair for me to throw out ideas when I really don't know what they're capable of.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Tell them exactly what you want from the beginning. In our case, we had an incomplete brief and changed our mind several times. Although they never got fed up with us, it would have been much easier if we’d had clear requirements up front.

We were looking for a new branding and advertising partner.

They did the logo design, advertising, ad design of brochures, and newsletter design.

What is the team composition?

We had dedicated people assigned to us, with a main point of contact. The project lead changed throughout the project.

How did you come to work with Creaa?

We found them in an internet search. Their website was interesting and they were promising during their presentation.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2016 until May 2017, when we got our own in-house team.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality was decent. I’d give them an eight out of 10. We got quite a lot of feedback on their work.

How did Creaa perform from a project management standpoint?

They were seven out of 10. Coordinating with them was easy. We communicated through WhatsApp, as well as email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were supportive and innovative.

No.
