We are looking to roll up all of our practices and sell them as one big portfolio, so we knew we needed to have our accounting in perfect order. Two key areas for the scope of the project were: 1. To build a budget for each practice and consolidate for a group-level view, and 2. To forecast revenue and expenses to better support our sale price. Both of these were completed, and without TCG's assistance, we would have gone into meetings with buyers, quite frankly, looking for ways to improve our margins. We own a number of dental practices and other professional service healthcare businesses, in which we hired The CPA Group for fractional CFO services.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome of the project was achieving a higher sale price for our portoflio, having bullet-proof P&L and Balance Sheets, and having forecasted/budgeted financials for future growth, which we never had. Yes, we would recommend them to other companies. Specifically companies who are growing and want a higher level of touch and expertise on their accounting needs. TCG delivers high quality work, although they are not inexpensive. Make sure that you set clear expectations and the scope of work is extremely clear and I'm positive you will have a good experience with this firm!

TCG's communication was clearly their strong-suit. From the beginning, they were always communicative and responsive which I think really made things go smoothly. Even if they didn't have the answer on the spot or in that moment, they still let us know they'd get back to us and when exactly we should expect a response. Deliverables and timelines were met because at the beginning of the project, we outlined the milestones and practical dates we could achieve them. They set our expectations well and executed well and that's why this project ultimately succeded.
