Construction Material Testing and Geotechnical Engineering drilling soil report services.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We selected CMT because of their experience, reputation and the multitude of services they have the ability to provide.

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

We were hired to build a 10-story parking garage and employed CMT to perform the soils report prior to construction and once in construction they performed all the testing and inspection services required by the IBC.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with the Senior Project Manager, Principal Engineer, their Laboratory Manager and Field Representatives.

They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helped us deliver the project ahead of schedule.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Everything was streamlined through their web based portal and delivery of key project details were available when needed and was easily shared with the owner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The software they used to deliver key project details in real time and their willing to help when they weren’t required.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They weren’t the cheapest but would happily pay for their services again because of how easy they made the entire process.
